What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Sounds as though it is all proceeding nicely @SaskiaKC
I wouldn't have done what your friend did @PenguinMum that's not respectful.
Although I let Meg (my hearing dog) sleep on my own bed at home, if I slept in someone else's house, I took a foldable crate with me, and she had to sleep in there for the night.

Lol I am always happy to lounge in the dark months accompanied by two very softly lovable felines. Sorry about the sofa ovee the years we have made disappointing sofa decisions. Our current ones are a bit threadbare but still comfy so all is goood.

Thought some people may be interested - I was in Ryman's today and they had key fob hand sanitizers. Mind you the amount of sanitizer was miniscule but it being on a key fob I thought it useful if you wanted to carry it with you so I bought a couple cost was £1.99 each,

Thanks for asking PM a few family worries at the moment, Im sure it’ll all be ok in the end. Meanwhile we are all having to muck in and I haven’t had time for the lovely chattiness of this thread - so easy to spend an hour here isn’t it?
I’m trying to remember to post on the no chat fbg thread just so I don’t lose the habit and start slipping.
I’ll be back though and meantime will just dip in and out to check up on you all from time to time.
Hope your day under a rug with Daisy was as relaxing as it sounds b

Sorry to hear that and hope things get better for you all. Would suggest you stay with us on this chatty thread and you know all wish you well and post when you are ready. Sending lots of hugs to you all.

Thank you I am still resting @Ryhia
I have been asleep all afternoon.
I will just have to take it easy tomorrow.
I am looking forward to no appointments....
I hated being messed about with when I was first prescribed hearing aids, and my deafness is relatively mild. I cannot imagine what you must be going through but I can understand why you may desire quietness.

Thank you.
Tell them hi from me.

At 5'2" I often have the same problem with the floor not quite touching my feet!

I hope it will all be OK soon. Meanwhile I will be thinking of you all with best wishes and love.
Keep us posted when you can.

Good Morning and 5.7 for me today.

Granddaughter day then her parents, our daughter and SIL for meal tonight. No idea what we will get up to but it's always enjoyable.

In good old Boy Scout fashion, 'Be prepared, do your best' with your day.

All sounds very promising and hope it all goes well for you. I think that I moved over nine times whilst in the military and three times since then. Our current home is the longest that we have ever been in one place, 14 years. Never got any easier but taking a long run at it reduces stress at both ends. One idea to think of, if you start now you can begin a) taking an inventory, separating things to take with you, things to part with, listing things you may need to obtain once that you are there and b) packing a little at a time. Boxes not too big, labelled and contents noted for when you get to your new place. Don’t seal boxes until the day before you move (always something needed at the last possible moment and always in the bottom of a box).

Good morning/evening folks, a Heinz 5.7 for me today, after a rather spicy sausage casserole last night, apparently the pepper mill wouldn't work so my wife used chilli flakes instead.
Happy Friday everyone.

Mmhh... " Pepper, chili flakes ARE the same thing, ...............:***:...lol"

Maybe with your new job, your at home a bit TOO much for someones liking.......??

Hope the day goes well...a little ditty to while away those "quiet" moments .
