What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Enjoyed seeing both of these, sunset I went back to have another look at and it does have a quality that draws you in the sort of art work that offers more each time you look. Loved the grass in the second and tree roots.

I do like the first one - very atmospheric.

Fbg 6.8
Temp 35.9

Another sunny day.
I like waking up to pre dawn, and watching the sky change...it is a gentle relaxing meditative way to wake up...

When we get a stretch of good weather and no rain, I leave my painting materials outside (24/7) on the table in front of my thatched swing.

So my outdoors studio is permanently set up possibly for a week this time...more skies and clouds in pastels for a wee bit...

Take care

Stay safe

Morning...an early start today I have to go and queue at the chemists this morning no doubt that will be fun...most important jobs of the day done fed the Dangerous Pets their protein and made coffee...working on my sense of humour taking note of all those timely reminders & apologies for the those without one i.e. me...completely forgot FBG been up an hour now so no point now...need to get organised will be back later.

Good Morning and 5.7 today.

You know I have no idea what I'm going to do today but I guarantee it will get filled and hopefully used wisely, that's after my second cup of coffee or maybe more cups of coffee. Does anyone remember a song with those words in 'second cup of coffee' by Gordon Lightfoot? Must look it up.

Ha well keep on doing whatever it is you do well, stay open minded and be careful.

Wow - there’s a blast from the past - I’m on my second cup of koffy and I still can’t face the day

Good morning everyone from yet another shiny Liberian morning in the dark and dangerous north.

The wonder wheel of bacon and egg brunch and an unrepresented chicken a la juste du poulet dinner came in at 4.7 this am.

Tuesday, the sixth Tuesday of a re-designated pre-bin day afternoon tea for Mrs Miggins and her online chums will take place at the designated 16th hour. So, low carb scones will need to be made as I have run down the freezer stocks to zero. Don’t tell Mrs Miggins that they are low carb - she is not diabetic so the word ‘low’ immediately followed by the word ‘carb’ must not be uttered, even in a low voice, within striking distance of a 2m distancing stick. I don’t know what I will be having but there is chicken left so I might introduce it to some spices and ideas surrounding opening a fridge and shouting thermodynamics.

I found some kefir at the back of the fridge yesterday, sat forlornly in something that was previously - several months ago - milk. So my latest experiment is; will I be able to bring it back to life. Maybe, but it does look a bit sad.

Have the most wonderful day that you possibly can, koffy calls.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. Today's posts brought as smile to my lips, but not as much as my bacon and eggs breakfast will hehehe.

A somewhat surprising 7.3 this morning, I shall blame that meter.......again.

Oh dear I hear movement from upstairs. Mrs J is surfacing from her pit / lair. I better go and make her morning tea or......

Interesting BS this morning. Woke at 2.30am shaky, sweating and headache. Was pretty sure it felt like a normal hypo not the corona virus but didn't dare go downstairs to get meter to check until I felt a bit better.

3.30am symptoms much better and it felt that BS had climbed back to normal So went downstairs to test and all was good at 4.0. Wouldn't normally test because any night time hypos always correct themselves without any treatment and I never drop below 3.0 but this time l was a bit worried it was the virus.

By 6.30am had climbed up to 5.6 fbs so all good. Temp OK also. Breakfast, doggie walk in the sun and now relaxing with a coffee in the conservatory.

Hope you can bring your kefir back to life. We are off this morning to a farm that guarantees it's milk is antibiotic free. It's getting harder to get organic whole milk in our little market town and I don't want to put us at risk by traipsing around all the supermarkets to find it.

Morning all from a cloudy North east. The meter of doom bestowed upon me a 6.1 this morning so am ok with it. I have finished my pallet furniture and only need to paint it when its delivered. once I have worked out how to post pictures again I will put some on. in the meantime enjoy your day.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

I have given up the prospect of anything other than standard supermarket meat & diary now Krystyna...managed to get another click & collect slot for groceries this morning...it's not until the 2nd of may but we're well stocked so that's okay like you I don't want to traipse round supermarkets unless I absolutely have to.
