Thanks, at the moment we are only working with sound that's hard enough, once we have cracked that then move onto video, by the time we have cracked it we will either be too old to care, left this mortal coil or virus will be long gone and we shall be able to perform together in person. Give me folk music any day, jam along, free and easy feel your way, this classical stuff, a Minuet, is very restrictive timing so important.Your reflections in water look good @Muddy Cyclist
Brilliant work with those two paintings in 40 minutes.
You'll get your You Tube video worked out, and may I throw in some good wishes for you all as well in this Quintet project.
A bit windy, but sunny and nice out there. Going back out to do some more things before the wind gets up.
Here is a sunset in soft pastels. An hour and a quarter...

The wind I was listening to was definitely outside. It wasn't the inulin - but if it had been I would have definitely blamed the Labradors.Julie complains of similar sometimes - inulin?.Hang in there Mr K.
Love the artwork and so reminiscent of similar places when on walking holidays. Thank you.I have a new respect for Virtual Musicians, those who playin isolation and record themselves and someone edits it all together for us to watch on YouTube. Today Mrs MC and I have been recording our parts to some Recorder Quintet Music sent by our Musical Director. Involves listening through headphones to melody and playing and recording your part, took all afternoon only to be told that timing is not quite right and the five parts could not be merged, so we have to start again. We are only compiling a Quintet, how on earth do whole orchestras manage? We shall win.
So my rushed watercolour for today is another sketch, two in fact, both A5 and part of some ideas I have for reflections in water. First is the stand of trees by Fairoak Pools the second is some fence posts taken from the Internet, they are similar to some I pass on my bike but have not yet managed to draw Plein Air or get a photo of. 40 minutes in total.

I don’t know if this will help but a 2lt plastic bottle filled with frozen water (on a tray) in front of a fan cools the air.Fbg 7.1
Not sleeping well last few days because of the heat. It’s a bungalow, so the heat is retained in the attic space, and I cannot go downstairs to a cooler room to sleep like you can in a house.
I definitely feel sleep deprived now. So that seems to be affecting my fbg.
Temp 36.1
Still windy out there, broken tree branches that need seeing to, but I need to catch up on sleep first.
Not quite light enough to paint yet. But wind is from the West or Northwest, so this means being able to paint my pastel from my thatched swing is relatively sheltered...
Take care. I am going to put my steam eye mask on and try to chill out for an hour. And get this reading down....
Enjoy the day.
Not thought of freezing water in a bottle and standing in front of the fan. That would work easy enough @dunelmI don’t know if this will help but a 2lt plastic bottle filled with frozen water (on a tray) in front of a fan cools the air.
I sometimes stand in the shower for a while if I wake up during hot summer nights.
Thank you, and here is to more of those walking holidays from which memories can be made. Enjoy your day.Love the artwork and so reminiscent of similar places when on walking holidays. Thank you.
A winner was given but you need a FUNNY also as you brightened up my dark skies by giving me a chuckle.Today I am a man of leisure because the dark skies of @Muddy Cyclist world are also my canopy. The beauty of living alone is that you can walk around naked when it's muggy without the background sound of someone gagging
Mind you, I'm not only naked when it's Muggy, but also on Tuggy, Wuggy Thuggy...
I'm so fabulous today with a 5.2, I need to slap myself with a crumpet
Winner given but a two star funny also - enjoy the crumpet - can we say that?Today I am a man of leisure because the dark skies of @Muddy Cyclist world are also my canopy. The beauty of living alone is that you can walk around naked when it's muggy without the background sound of someone gagging
Mind you, I'm not only naked when it's Muggy, but also on Tuggy, Wuggy Thuggy...

Good snapshot reading Tulula, enjoy your meal with Sir Loin.Well smother me in (reduced sugar and salt) ketchup and call me Tulula it is Sunday and my fbg was 4.7. A little higher than I want and only 1 day but on the right lines. Added to another key metric working and a third at least heading down to where I feel comfortable a C+ for the start. Tomorrow is not likely to be as good since roast beef is on the menu and not rib since it is a sirloin joint for 2 we must have forgotten to throw away in the move. I hope Julie enjoys the beef, I can accept the meal gracefully and all you good people enjoy your day whilst staying safe.
