2039 Best in Show at Crufts and Westminster -- the Digger Dog, developed by gardeners crossing various British and Irish terrier breeds with the Dachshund, the Common Or Garden Variety Mole, and of course the Bulldog.

If we club together and raise enough cash, can you all go somewhere else on holiday please.

I am going to really miss the daily installments and updates and new words to grace the lexicon of dunelm

Vicarious holiday locations cost far less and are so stress free. I get all the imagery and local lowdown without having to leave my comfy reclining arm chair. Say you will, say you will.

It is impossible to 'over do ginger' so no need to worry on that front. I hope you have great day you under fiver you!

Illya Kuryakin ..... memories...either action, or the characters faced the screen, more or less, in those days so I could lipread what was going on...I was quite happy with the action or Ilya smouldering out of the screen....

Ages ago I started to write a short story that started "I have fallen in love with 3 golden-haired 'Russians' in my life ... one was a Scot, one was an American, and the third was from Turkmenistan ..."

Great news. Numbers good as well btw.
Google is wrong! It is much, much, much, better. We spend lots of time there every year. The colours will both amaze and delight.
Have a wonderful day!
The tea rooms are well worth a visit.
Enjoy

You are absolutely right - it is an amazing place and the tea rooms were lovely and the staff very friendly.. We are definitely adding it to our list of favourite places.

We found a nice shady spot on the cafe terrace - which was good as the temperature reached 29° by lunch time.

That made me smile!

5.8 last night
5.8 this morning

Am happy. It was fish for dinner last night which was a bit too salty - my mistake - but potatoes were under salted (not my mistake). So it was all ok. Monday - back to the grind. I am not terribly excited about it. But it is Ramadhan week and a real short week at work. Have a great week everyone.

Morning all. A fine early dawn coming up. Hope that the creep visiting the UK doesn't spoil my day too much.

FBG 5.7 mmo/lt at 0500. Lowest ever. Had no meat yesterday, just fish and salad/green-stuff plus a few peanuts. Coincidence?

Have a good day everyone.

Still in the 5 zone here in the hazy north western UK, 5.2. Up early this morning due to the doggie alarm clocks who for some reason today think as it is light I should be up and about. They have been out, fed and are now curled up fast asleep again. I wish I could do the same but work awaits!
Take care all.

Well, it's Monday again and I was greeted with a straight 6. Rain stopped play yesterday so I will play catch-up at some point, however, off to the green this morning to practise being social for an hour or so. Enjoy the day

5.1 this morning. Probably because I had a few glasses of wine yesterday evening, gorgeous fresh seafood to go with it though.
We arrived in Oban on the beautiful West Highland line and the sun came out - forecast was for rain all week so that was a real bonus. The only time it rained was when I went out for a walk after dinner, then the heavens opened for 20mins and it stopped the second I got back inside. Lol!
Staying in a lovely hotel overlooking the harbour. Nespresso coffee machine in our room and L’Occitane toiletries. Wonderful.
Today we are catching the ferry over to Mull - looking forward to that.
@dunelm glad you got back safely, I loved the tale of Little Miss Pamplemousse and the egg on legs. Going anywhere in public with small children is a delight and mortifyingly embarrassing in equal measures I find.
@trick60 hope the Mrs is improving - were the docs concerned about lack of grazing on her hands?
@Debandez a party in your garage? That sounds brilliant! Did you just get home and find all the neighbours in it?
