What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Brilliant!
Will we see some more pencil drawings of yours?
Please

All sounds good and I think spicy roasted courgettes would go well with partridge. I use courgettes to replace pasta either in ribbons cut on a mandolin or spiralised. I sometimes freeze them like that in zip lock bags - just enough to drop them, frozen, into soups and stews. You could even roast them and then freeze them or even roast and then preserve in olive oil.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who are watching the " R " number and infection rates.

A very surprising 6.3 this morning, I was expecting an 8 to 9. dinner last night was an experimental dish, maybe that meter is up to something.

It looks like the artists on this thread have competition, a nice pencil sketch from @dunelm. Well done.
Well fellow posters have a great day.

So your PPG meeting wasn't a complete waste of time because you produced some really nice artwork during the meeting.

We had such a lovely walk around Sheringham Park today. Weather was perfect with hazy sunshine. Although the rhododendrons were past their best they were still stunning. We walked over 4 miles up and down the hills and there were some lovely views of the sea in the distancr.

good evening all

4.4 yesterday and 4.4 this morning

yesterday was shopping day, not too bad but definitely busier, about 50% mask wearing

took mum's shopping over and did a couple of little jobs in the house for her too, then we just managed to finish eating our soup outside before it rained

It's been a lovely day here today though so we got a couple of jobs in the garden done and managed to speak to a few neighbours as they passed taking their exercise, some days we hardly see anyone, it may depend on the time of day perhaps.

When we were shopping I picked up a big pot of Lidl full fat yoghurt as usual and the pot has changed, now taller and thinner with a flimsy plastic cap. That is a bit of a pain, I'd got used to a good supply of useful, well capped, reusable small buckets

Another thing which has changed though is that the carb. content has gone from 3.2g/ 100g to 4.6g/100g, now just slightly lower than Asda's which has 4.9g/100g.

Some seriously good looking baking going on here just now, must have another go at LC scones

Hope your day is treating you kindly

@gennepher - like both the pastels, the first is very intense with the deep reflections in the water and the second has a lovely cool atmospheric pallet

@Muddy Cyclist - your Sherbrook picture is strong and I like the textures on the tree trunks and the distant hillsides
I look forward to seeing the full treatment of what is already a very pleasing sketch of the Sherbrook valley

@dunelm - yours are definitely more interesting than my doodles

Art catch up for today - both are slightly bigger than A5.

no 1 - emulating (I think), Paul Young, seen on Pinterest but sadly can't find the original reference I found the 'naive' style and light but colourful pallet pleasing.

no 2 - on the road home after the rain.

A very fine doodle indeed.
