good afternoon all
4.2 yesterday and 4.6 today
by the look of it the less I have to do the more time it takes me to do it
forgot to post yesterday because we went out for a walk in the evening, did do some art, once again was trying out doing things in a slightly different style, it didn't impress me much when it was finished,
even mr gee decided it wasn't my best effort. I'll post it one day just because...there is always a delay in the art I post though because I have to get out the scanner so I usually scan them a batch at a time.
Yesterday we managed to get some shed tidying done outside
which is why our walk took place quite late in the evening, it was still very pleasant though
This morning we were off out fairly early to take mum to a neighbouring town to go to her bank branch. Before the C19 lockdown they used to run a bank branch in a van two mornings a week to the nearest town but that was discontinued at the beginning of the lockdown. Mum was understandably getting a bit twitchy about having several weeks pension money sitting in the house.
Not too many people out and about when we got there and the shops that were open had well signed C19 measures for distancing, mr gee went into the bakers (only 3 people allowed at a time and 2m apart), to get mum some of their sausage rolls which she's quite partial to
and an older guy just barged right through the middle of the shop, no mask, no distancing, demanding 'pies'
the staff were not pleased but mr gee says he thinks perhaps the guy was just 'away with the fairies'
Back home now and contemplating a bit of garden work
@gennepher - two interestingly different and fun takes on art work, The first shows what a varied range of tools and effects is available when working digitally (reminded me a bit of how it made me feel going out to a different location this morning!), might have a go at digital myself sometime
The second is a fine idea for just 'creating' and trying out different, slightly random colour effects, artstorming
@Muddy Cyclist - I absolutely love the finished Sherbrook valley painting, particularly the sky and the area where the tree impinges on the landscape
I too look forward to more skies

no 1 - possibly the final 'inspired by' a specific artist picture for a while. this is inpired by a Canadian artist called Enda Bardell, I enjoy her colour handling
