take care alf with them low numbers xGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and again no time, oversleeping is a double edged spear.
A 5.0 this morning, whoops bad news and lots planned if I take any insulin it will be messy. My problem, sympathy not required, apart from maybe sympathy for the devil, must roll on.....
Sorry folks no time to read the posts and admire the art work, perhaps I can catch tomorrow, subject to today's progress.
Have a good day, remembering to give all media a big miss.
My painting for today.
A friend set me a Painting challenge in the night.
Anyway, her video version has no subtitles, but I found one on you tube with subtitles.
You mask off paper but I chose a canvas, with masking tape (I used washi tape) into squares. Then just make marks (using any tool) with watercolour or acrylics. You use 3 colours and then black and white as well. Then take the tape off when dry. Take half hour to do this.
I used old partially dried watercolour tubes. Initially I added water as you can see because it went under the washi tape. But the colours turned to mud. So I dried the watery bits, and just used the watercolour paint direct from the tube. I wore disposable gloves, abandoned my brushes, and used my fingers, or either end of the watercolour tube to spread the paint. And the plastic screw top as well to make marks.
So two photos here. The first is still with the washi tape on. The second photo is with the washi tape taken off. And you can see where the watery bits spread under the washi tape.

No idea which kind or how many on our roof today gennepher but they woke me up after just four hours sleep...might have to train Charlie & Lola to get up them keep em quiet. The magpies are up early and so are the pigeons
Send to Mr Booth of Margate@ianpspurs thanks for you artwork appreciation @dunelm big skies it is then, do you have Mr Turners Address?
@gennepher interesting and fun just to be allowed to let rip with the colours. I do think I liked it better before the tape was removed, maybe next one with not so symmetrical tape, more jagged, more confusing, different widths, but placing the tape in the correct position will be the key to a masterpiece which in your hands I'm sure it will be.
