Thank you very much @SlimLizzy12.12.2020
6.50am FBG 6.2
The new batch of test strips arrived midday yesterday.
@gennepher really like the floodlights effect on the viaduct painting.
Absolutely brilliant. The singing, the collaboration and the technological skill. Better than nothing? Far, far better. An example of some of the good to come out of COVID - would all those choirs and musicians have collaborated without? Georgian costume? I'm just shifting location slightly and imagining that in a Hardy novel. Definitely made a dreary Saturday immeasurably brighter. Gawd bless ya Squire.A few weeks back I mentioned Mrs MC and I were recording our instrument and voice parts for a good old Cornish Carol, we miss the Sheffield Carol singing in Covid lockdown. So here is the assembled finished version we are in there playing instruments and singing Soprano and Bass, somewhere. Good fun, not the same as playing and singing in a Quire but better than nothing, and now another one to do....
This is what I get up to in Georgian gentleman attire.

A favourite singer/songwriter of ours, have you listened to arrangements of some of her Christmas Carols?Hi Muddy,
If you put on your highwayman costume you could sing some responses to this rather nice folk song.

Will listen and Chromecast.A favourite singer/songwriter of ours, have you listened to arrangements of some of her Christmas Carols?
We do a similar version to this carol in our folk band, stolen from Laureena...
Thanks @Muddy Cyclist and you are dead right about those health checks - our GP’s seem to be doing everything by phone - ‘can you take a photo and send it to me?” - well now, that all depends.A smashing landscape/seascape, like the sun catching the top of them hills.
Comes to something when cars can get health checks and humans can't.
Wonderful - such a great sound from people from so many countries and expertly put together - fab. Oh now I do like this and can see why she is a favourite of yours. Sounds like a mash up of English medieval and a bit of Ravi or Anushka Sankar. Is there a hurdy gurdy in this?A favourite singer/songwriter of ours, have you listened to arrangements of some of her Christmas Carols?

Reminds me of a phone call to my GP when (female) nurse spilled some of the chemo juice on Mr Floppy ( all the fault of my muscles according to her). Mr F didn't didn't react well and GP wondered if I could send a pic to said nurse. I wasn't keen on talking to Cambs Constabulary about Richard Pics.T- our GP’s seem to be doing everything by phone - ‘can you take a photo and send it to me?” - well now, that all depends.
Yuk, raw liver and cabbage casserole. I am though quite partial to sweetheart cabbage fried in butter - especially if it starts to go brown at the edges - which it often does if I get distracted when I am frying it.eating raw liver, cabbage casserole or other twaddle
Glad you are ok now. It is horrible when that happens.Well fellow posters, painters and gamers, I miscalculated my insulin / exersize balance regime yesterday and ended up having a hypo with a reading of 2.9, shakes, sweats, slight disorientation, a mile or so from where Mrs J could collect me. That little episode curtailed my plans and Mrs J's plans for my afternoon. All part of life's rich pattern or so the saying says.
Not sure, we don't have one in our folk band although I would love to learn how to play one. Laureena does like the Celtic, Indian mix, check out other stuff she does. However if you want just pure voice and instrument check out her 'Elemental' album and if you like poetry there is a good arrangement for a William Blake poem on the album. Is there a hurdy gurdy in this?
Empathy, at 71 I guess I'm a tad younger than you and I know how easy it is to push past my age limit. Take care get better.Started with a migraine at 1700, third one in 4 weeks, so I shall be out of action for c.24hours.
Worked too hard on inside job today that was a struggle.
This getting old and easily knacked is no good.
One just wants to sleep with migraine.
Hope you all well.
