Good Morning and 6 for me today.

Almost there with putting the house back together after floor fitting. Windy here and Mrs MC made lots of red and gold bows to put around the front door garland which look great against the pine and vintage gold lights I hope I have attached them well as winds are hitting the front of our house and it's forecast to get windier.

Had text from the Fog Kennels we use for our Labrador Moet, they have decided to close because of almost no business this year and no bookings for next year. So even if we can get to travel in 2021 looks like we will be staying home as not many Kennels are prepared to look after a blind, arthritic dog in our area and It would be unfair to travel any big distance with the poor fellow. Maybe short breaks if Covid allows.

Video call with sisters later which is always uplifting.

Make the best use possible of your time today. Keep safe.

Seems unlikely that last post here was 1 hr 34 mins ago when I'm looking at 7.37 am. Any old how, Swipey claims my fbg to be 4.3, Even if true I don't actually know what it means or what to do with that data. No doubt some kindly person will explain it all to me with reference to J Fung Esq, eating raw liver, cabbage casserole or other twaddle I don't need in my little bubble. I'm always a cheery soul until the third litre of tea. Toodles guys and gals.
Your just a born septic as Del boy would say.

Sorry guys but I found this so funny that I couldn't resist sharing. She has a wicked turn of phrase which tickles me. Happy to delete and enjoy it all to myself.
“There are seats of button-backed mahogany in that room that have given deeper thoughts to the implications of no deal than Priti Patel” - yep!

good evening all :)

Hope your day is treating you well

@RFSMarch and @SilverK very well done for your blood results :joyful:

@SlimLizzy - good news that they've caught it early :)

@Krystyna23040 - good progress for Archie :)

@lindisfel - a lovely set of pictures :)
and now you've mentioned sweet Fanlight Adams I have an earworm, George Formby singing 'Fanlight *****' :hilarious:

@Muddy Cyclist - snazzy! ;) especially like the tricorn :D
there is a serpent in the Abbey at Selby (I was baptised there ;))

@gennepher - stunning picture of the viaduct, the strong light and the foliage have worked particularly well :)

@dunelm - another fine picture, adding someone contemplating the vista has given the river gorge great scale, I like the buildings peeping through in the background too :)

Been doing this painting in ZenBrush3 since my last post. which appears to have been about 2 hours 26 minutes ago. Inspiration from Zhang
But iPad overheatswhen I used ZenBrush3...badly. And so I had to have it on a chill mat to continue.
Also ZenBrush3 app is the biggest battery drainer I have ever come across. It was 100% when I started 2 hours 26 minutes ago. Then less half hour later (using ZenBrush3), it was down to 50%. This is usual with ZenBrush3.
So I had to recharge iPad, and had a nap until it was 100% again. Then started again.
iPad is now down to 48%. And so it is impossible to do a painting in one sitting in ZenBrush3
Annoying.

In Procreate it may use 30% of battery to complete a painting.

I am sure time has stretched because I feel like I have spent hours on this ZenBrush3 painting, and I had a longish nap while battery was recharging, which cat was pleased with as he relaxed on my chest...

Now onwards with the day...
Take care.
Stretch time if you need some more of it...it appears quite amenable for a bit of stretching...

Wonderful play on Zhang Daqian great use of those greens and blues - great feeling of dymanism with the water - smashing - don’t let Christies see it.

Good morning everyone from a damp start in the dark and dangerous north - lots of little bright beads sitting on the bare branches of the trees in the garden.

The wonder wall of a vegetable and chorizo Spanish style omelette came in at 5.2 this am

Today’s desperate question of the day is what defines a pie? Top crust only or fully enclosed pastry - TV poll, results on a Pi chart - about a third for top crust only, same for fully enclosed and similar for too fed up to know - throw them all into the sea.

Mrs Miggins has taken her car in this morning - one of those fashionable vehicle “health checks” - another way of saying “give us your cash”.

Todays picture is from a photo taken in Norway a few years ago - I think it is Alesund taken from the ship - anyhow - koffy calls.

Good morning folks, a nice sunny chilly start to Saturday morning. FBG was 4.7 and had a better night sleep than the previous one thankfully. Feeling positive about the changes I've made so far :)

Just had my latest blood test results. They still don’t know why I’m tired and hurting all the time but my Hba1c was 118 at the end of September and now it’s 68 Yes, I know it’s still too high but I’m really pleased with that. My cholesterol has dropped from 6.5 to 3.5 too.
Sorry, just felt the need to shout about it.
Think you do have something to shout about there. Keep on doing whatever is working for you. It can't have been easy. Good Work.

A smashing landscape/seascape, like the sun catching the top of them hills.

Comes to something when cars can get health checks and humans can't.:)

The new batch of test strips arrived midday yesterday.

@gennepher really like the floodlights effect on the viaduct painting.
