Ioving the picture @gennepher
Good to see the road less travelled has offered up an abundance of foods ..nom, nom .
Everydays a school day on here, so nice to see some others knowledge being of use to you
Meant to say, the first thing I do when buying a vehicle is to go find an online owners club.
Some better then others, but most will be only to willing to provide/show off knowledge.
Might find it's not as unusual for your car as you think
And usually there's a good stab at an "easy" solution to most issues
(Didn't actually see what car it was, must have missed it. I'd say Google was your best friend here )
Have a good un.
Thank you.good evening all
4.6 today
and here we all go into lockdown again
I feel very fortunate to live in the area I do, at least we can walk the village, weather permittingit didn't permit today because there was a heavy frost then a shower of rain overnight.
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@gennepher - looks like your charging strategy is paying off and you've found a good new shopI'm glad you managed to get your car started though, it's hard for you to be in a situation like that when you need your car so much for access. Well done you for turning the situation into a benefit
Some interesting and helpful advice here, I've learnt a lot too
@dunelm - striking vista, very effective and the yellow rice paper is providing a nice warm ground colour to work your contrasts on.
@Muddy Cyclist - condolences for the loss of your friend.
That's a lovely piece of art, the sky works so well against the colour you've worked into the hill fort.
art bit - snow on the hills over the firth. the gorse never seems to completely lose it's green though there are only a few flowers to be seen. As the saying goes 'kissing is out of season when gorse is out of bloom'

I did find some nice goodies at the new to me shops yesterday.
And I ate some...
I also found, when I got back home, an app called TooGoodToGo. It is left over food at the end of the day, that is usually thrown out. Different local shops and supermarkets have joined the scheme. I think it is all over the UK. But it is now put in a Magic Bag, and costs £3.50. Apparently has £10 worth of original price of the food. Is it any good? I don't know. But looking at it, I found some shops in this area I didn't know existed. These are new food shops that have opened up in this area since we have had Covid lockdowns. I will have another look when I have given my car it's good run today. Dual carriageways and 70 mph (maybe 60 mph) feature in my driving today. I will be going the long way to the nearest town West to me, and the long way back home. There are a few things I need. And I shall be out in the Golden Hour again. It is supposed to be a beautiful dawn again this morning.
Thank you for all your amazing help yesterday. I learnt a lot more about cars. Saved all your replies via screenshot so I have them all together to refer to and investigate a bit more today what I need to do. So, thanks again.
Here is my digital painting this morning in Procreate. There was one oak tree, trunk covered in ivy, which had the sunrise behind it. I couldn't stop to take a photo, so I had to use the 'camera' in my head...the only thing different is I made it a path, and not the road.
I think we need some hope.

Thank you, such places, hill forts, always feel moody to me, maybe their location, maybe my overactive imagination, who knows?Good morning everyone on a perfectly quiet start to the day in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of “oh look - a mince pie” came in at 5.7 this am - shocker! Self inflicted wound.
David Tennant and Michael Sheen back with Staged - highly amusing. Park still as wet as an otter’s pocket -Muck Boots and thick socks at the ready. We do like our Muck Boots but unlike those simple wellies of childhood - you can’t really turn them down when you are playing pirates. New book arrived - so that’s three on the go now - my head may explode. The Art of Happiness by The Dalai Lama now sitting next to Mythos by Stephen Fry, The Glamour Boys by Chris Bryant and of course my Marcus Auralius.
@geefull - thank you for your comments. Beautiful scenery from you, well captured, smashing.
@gennepher - Lovely oak tree on the pathway to hope - love that fence line. Thank you for the heads up on the Toogoodtogo app - will have a look at that.
@Muddy Cyclist - moody hill fort - liking the drama in the sky of this sketch.
Art today - a scrap of hemp paper - about 6x3 inches - tree painting practice. Bin day tomorrow but enjoy the day that you have been given. Time for koffy.

I think placement of such things as hill forts was druided in using ancient feng shui using auspicious meanderings of woad and magic mushroom soaked minds. Yes, Bons need a good tog coat at this time of year.Thank you, such places, hill forts, always feel moody to me, maybe their location, maybe my overactive imagination, who knows?
With you on Staged.
A fine use of a scrap of paper by you today that's a lovely gnarled tree.
Mrs MC does have many such shaped in the garden, Bons, but they have been covered in Bubble Wrap since the start of these hard frosts.
Great that you found new shops. Your shopping now sounds as through it will be much more enjoyable. (predictive text changed it to scary).Good morning from Wales.

Your predictive text sounds quite malicious.Great that you found new shops. Your shopping now sounds as through it will be much more enjoyable. (predictive text changed it to scary).
Love your painting of this mornings sunrise. It was a much greyer start to the day here in Norfolk.
It has definitely got much worse than it used to be.Your predictive text sounds quite malicious.
I feel somewhat like that old tree?Thank you, such places, hill forts, always feel moody to me, maybe their location, maybe my overactive imagination, who knows?

Welcome to Tuesday. A toasty 1C outside here. A day for warming food I guess but I can';t find it in me to pretend to want or enjoy LC versions for the moment so Mackerel and avocado salad for me. Drenched in an evo, acv and Dijon M vinaigrette then liberally sprinkled with spinach powder and whole flaxseeds. It will sustain me for now. 4.7 on Swipey IDK if good or bad, protective or dangerous - it just IS. An I am what I am event. Stay focused, go through your routines it is all pretty absurd just now. MIL is 91 today and in the process of moving to within 5 mins walk of us and No 1 son - let's hope she makes it asap. Appreciate prayers from believers.
