Hi all,
I am afraid we will not be out of the wood for sometime. Covid is with us permanently I would imagine?
The real question is when will sufficient numbers of patients stop dying in hospitals? Then we can start mixing in a limited way again with our families etc.
I would guess all the vulnerable and down to 50 year olds should be vaccinated with two jabs first!
It is bad news to hear the average intensive care Covid patient is 60 year old! That is not good news.
Anyone would think to hear some talk, it was over 80!!!

Hope you are able to get Mrs MC to her hospital appointment this morning. All this talk of numbers so applied my very simple arithmetic skills to this...
2 inches of snow fell in 30 minutes, still snowing with promise of not stopping until 6 pm. In my book that's a total of 18 inches of snow. Are you impressed?
Very cold over night and in the morning Mrs MC needs to be at hospital for another BCC removal. Not going to get out of our street at this rate.

They are sleeping on the beach for tonight.
Lovely sweet chestnut and a good winter shape - some very fine brushwork there. After building a snowman which I took a picture of and sent to grandaughters I have managed to finish my watercolour Sweet Chestnut tree.

This is about an hour drive from us atm. Wish I had seen post this morning.@Krystyna23040 I hope today isn't too demanding and there is still some you time. Watched a programme about 2 farming families selling their local produce (beef and wine) here. Looked interesting if, like all farmers' markets, very "aspirational". Is this somewhere you have been, close to you or not something that would interest you? You never know, once there is a "new normal" we may pass each other without ever knowing should we both go there. On to Wells and round the coast for foodie goodies - Deli in and Smoke house at Cley. Walsingham also in that area.
Sure I read that
"while treatment isn't being denied, it is bring focused on those with the best prospects of surviving "(ICU. NHS)
Sure it was inside a BBC report, maybe a guardian article? I read last night/this am
Perhaps that's why that number is lower then initial reports would have us believe ?
Back in the warm after a lovely walk around our local park. Everywhere was white with frost - very picturesque.
Aren't our brains clever. Have been grappling with teaching a new exercise to the classes on Zoom. It was a tricky one to teach - even with a demo I couldn't get it across. I just could not explain it so it made sense to everyone. So decided to relax and forget about it once I finished the classes on Saturday and shelve it until Monday.
This morning I woke up and my brain had worked subconsciously while I was sleeping and come up with the perfect set of instructions to teach it successfully. The instructions are really perfect and now everyone will get it. How does the brain do this.
My snowman, I did get a bit carried away with his buttons.

I believe Covid (or indeed any virus), is with us pretty much forever, they mutate, they come and go, whatever a virus does it does.Hi all,
