good morning all
4.9 yesterday and 4.6 today
well looks like some of us were out adventuring yesterday @gennepher and @jjraakpersonally I sat inside and got nothing done. Mr gee did a couple of small jobs about the house but it was windy and very wet yesterday. We did get a bit of snow but it luckily turned to sleet and then to rain during the day.
Still very windy and wet here this morning, the wind is making spooky whoofling noises round the corners
@jjraak - Sobering images and we only hope for good outcomes
Your mobility progression seems to be going well to plan though, hugs for the worrying times but two gold stars for hard work and attitude
@Muddy Cyclist - I like your beech avenue, it has the soft misty light of early morning and the hints of colour in the shadows are very effective
sounds like yesterday was a real 'curate's egg' of a day. Hope the fencing aches subside quickly
@dunelm - a very pleasing landscape, you have a skill for anchoring things firmly and creating depth
@gennepher - that was a full start to the day by the sound of itI'm glad it was productive.
Your trip has produced a fine piece of art, I like the gnarled silhouette of the tree against that sky
Your snowdrop is delightful, very delicate against the light
art bit - trying out a new warm blue paint colour, image inspired by adrienne pavelka

Kath won't come anywhere near so I have to make a small hole in the earth and hope Post stays there and goes in straight when I start knocking.
Sorry that the camera work was postponed and for the UTI.Camerawork postponed due to my having a UTI which Dr says is "just one of those things for a decrepit old wreck like you so suck it up pal." - I may have paraphrased slightly. Never met him but I think we'll get along just fine.
Star for the paintings and a hug for the runaway horse dramaSorry folks no art.
MILs care home call 90 minutes but all very professional and supportive. Then the day fell apart, best laid plans and all that. Mrs MCs horse escaped, wrecked the fence, broke posts and found grass, yes the grass is always greener so spent from 11 am until it was to dark to Cary on mending fences. I have Post Knockers aches as I had to replace 6 broken fence posts and rails then repair all the electric fencing that should be protecting the post and rail fencing. I had forgotten how heavy Post knockers are. Rewards BG down, NO! 6.3 after a day of little amounts of food.
On the plus side I had a call this evening from a friend of my sons who wants to put my paintings in his shop, not open yet but he does online sales so maybe I can move some of the 200 watercolours that are cluttering up my shelf.
Thank you @geefull - the new warm blue is working very well. Your mountains, as always, are beautifully defined and sit well in this splendid landscape.good morning all

Thank you @Muddy Cyclist - I am trying to persuade my parents to advertise the car as “early 007 Wet Nellie look alike”.Thank you. Yes horse I see fine although probably feels cheated at not being able to visit pastures new.
Dry brush paintings are progressing well that's a nice Mountains scene with good depth. I do. Like the prospective you give these drawings/ paintings very traditional for the medium and not easy to do but you have mastered it.
Hugs for Subterranean car becoming amphibious.
Thank you @gennepher - awaiting progress on recovering car from my sister but a few of the roads are now flooded.A great ink sketch of of mountains and nestled village @dunelm
Hope the car enjoyed its swim, and will now carefully dry out all its bits and pieces....
I really like the colours in your painting.good morning all

Take care @dogslifeGood evening . Just popping in late to say my fbs this morning was 9.9. I don't post very often as they are constantly high. Convinced it's partly due to Gabapentin side effects. The good news is that both hubby's and my Covid tests yesterday were negative. Hope everyone is OK. Enjoy your week-end everyone.

I always meditate when I wake up, and I do need to do a digital painting....as I said before I don't use a digital pen but I use my fingers on the screen...so soothing and calming...
This is from the church and graveyard I saw a couple of days ago. This is the entrance I found to it...

I always think of Ayesha in 'She' by H Rider Haggard when I see steps like these....

Out of darkness and into light. A very powerful piece. I do like those dark well trodden steps and the strong bright light above. Very imaginative composition.Fbg 6.5
