What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thanks @geefull for the painting compliments

I love this painting of yours.
It is still in your gentle style but with stronger colours. I like that warm blue.

Just been sent our Georgian Band 'The Village Band' of the West Gallery groups we play and sing with, virtual rendition of 'Lady Belle Catherine' me on Guitar and Tabor, Mrs MC on Soprano and Alto Recorder, this is just a small group of the band multi instrumenting. Music director did not add my Banjo Playing as I sent it late but I'm sure he will add it at some point.

Oh to perform again, missing gigs.

So here it is, enjoy, not everyone's taste in music I'm afraid... Lady Belle Catherine

PS sorry if you hang on when it's finished you also get the Quires virtual rendition of Psalm 23 me on bass Recorder and Bass Voice Mrs MC Soprano Voice.

Camerawork postponed due to my having a UTI which Dr says is "just one of those things for a decrepit old wreck like you so suck it up pal." - I may have paraphrased slightly. Never met him but I think we'll get along just fine.
Sorry that the camera work was postponed and for the UTI.

It sounds as though your doctor is of the same ilk as a physio I saw in the early 1980s. I was unhappy that a severely trapped nerve had caused issues with the calf muscles on one leg. It looked like I had a huge hole in my calf and I was complaining that I couldn't wear a skirt because it looked ugly. She told me to stop whingeing because I was very lucky to still be able to walk. She was a brilliant physio but she didn't mince her words. I did hear that even the Consultants at the hospital were scared of her. I did stop whingeing after that.

Star for the paintings and a hug for the runaway horse drama

Thank you @geefull - the new warm blue is working very well. Your mountains, as always, are beautifully defined and sit well in this splendid landscape.

Thank you @Muddy Cyclist - I am trying to persuade my parents to advertise the car as “early 007 Wet Nellie look alike”.

I really like the colours in your painting.

Good evening . Just popping in late to say my fbs this morning was 9.9. I don't post very often as they are constantly high. Convinced it's partly due to Gabapentin side effects. The good news is that both hubby's and my Covid tests yesterday were negative. Hope everyone is OK. Enjoy your week-end everyone.

Fbg 6.5

I always meditate when I wake up, and I do need to do a digital painting....as I said before I don't use a digital pen but I use my fingers on the screen...so soothing and calming...

This is from the church and graveyard I saw a couple of days ago. This is the entrance I found to it...

In Procreate...

I always think of Ayesha in 'She' by H Rider Haggard when I see steps like these....

Take care @dogslife
Good that your tests were negative.
Keep popping in and posting!

5.8 this morning. Really hectic day today with a 1:1 in my lunch break - so am really looking forward to relaxing at 3.15pm when classes finish. Must get ready for muddy dog walk. Dogs don't look that keen to go out in the rain. I am not looking forward to it either but will feel much better after the walk.

.

Marvellous, mystical church entrance. well worn steps picked out from the dark entrance by the light from the inside - smashing. H Rider Haggard - there’s a blast from the past.

Out of darkness and into light. A very powerful piece. I do like those dark well trodden steps and the strong bright light above. Very imaginative composition.
