What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Most enjoyable, I have bookmarked them

I got pfizer jab last week gennepher and a date to return in 12 weeks for second jab seems strange not to have given you a date x

MrSlim has improved. The pain is less and he is sleeping better. However he describes himself as feeling fragile and is nowhere near back to his normal self.

Thanks @karen8967
I do live in Wales, so I do not know if or why things are done differently here.

Surely it is efficiency, all round, if you are given your next date for your second jab as you have been?

Neither I or Mrs MC have been given a second date, must work differently in each area.

Good Morning and 5.7 for me today.

Very cold here but at least no more snow.

My Arthritis is playing up today so a day hobbling around the house me thinks.

Keep safe and warm.

I drove my VW Camper, no school runs and so roads quiet and I don't mind driving on New snow before it gets compacted. By the time I returned roads were clear. Thank you.
So pleased that you had a safe journey and were able to look after Mrs MC 's horse.

Fbg at 3am was 9.7

but I went back to sleep again, because I didn't feel ready to get up as I usually do at that time. I actually felt quite relaxed. I slept well last night, and just felt like more sleep, so I didn't drink my cuppa and went back to sleep again. I have been more than 12 hours asleep now, with ONLY two bathroom breaks (highly unusual). I was expecting a bit more of a disturbed night with having the vaccine yesterday, but I feel very chilled out and relaxed, which maybe reflects in this digital painting I have just done.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, but not those doom and gloom merchants in the media that preach negativity and despondency.

2 readings this cold morning the first 3.9 and the second 4.0, hmmmm, electric steam powered sliderule out and teabag reading to workout this mornings insulin dosage.

Have you fellow posters tried reading sheet music and playing with blood sugars that low, it sounds a treat, best I've played in a long time, yep what is left of my brain is totally away with the fairies. Time to drink koffy and relax.

Well fellow poster's, painters and gamers it's forecast to be a trifle chilly round the trussocks ( fingers ) today here in Tilehurst Towers, dilemma time turn the heating on or break out the extra strong mints.

Have a great day all and stay safe, stay well and stay indoors.

Good morning all. The Benefice of Upper and Lower Slabbington with Much Dogham is wet and soggy rather than icy today. Swipies duly arrived yesterday but remain sheathed for the present. Near term matters centre around vaccine on Thursday for both of us then Julie's journey to Southampton and the birth of our next granddaughter on the 15th. Medium term agenda is rescheduled flexible cystoscopy with questioning around possible reasons for UTI and ways of preventing re-occurrence. For everything else there's ...... Longer term with managing T2 there remains the issue of keeping Swipey and A1c sweet without collateral damage to the wider world of IanP and my relationships. LC seems to me to be a very jealous lover. Good news on the sleep and no reaction to vaccination @gennepher and Mr Slim @SlimLizzy. A little time on the naughty step/reflection time over the past year seems to be kicking in for me now - much reflection on Deuteronomy 8:1-10 since Sunday - He knew, He knew. Just not 40 years - so far.

Good morning everyone from a 1942 movie staring Bing Crosby in the dark and dangerous north - Irvine - stop playing that tune
The wonder wheel of tuna steaks in a spicy Spanish sauce came in at 4.8 this am
I haven’t caught up. My MIL passed away in her sleep in the early hours of yesterday morning. She had been very ill for a long time.
Anyhow, I painted this for her. Stay well, still drinking koffy.

This is stunning, so beautiful.
Hugs for you all @dunelm

So sorry to hear of your MIL passing away. The painting is a beautiful thought and tribute. Thoughts and prayers with you, her family and friends.

Very sorry @dunelm, nice painting a fitting tribute. Please pass on me and me's and Mrs J 's condolences to Mrs Miggins.
