Thank you very much @Krystyna23040@Mrs T 123 is right. Popeye is really lucky to have you to take care of him @gennepher.
Thank you @geefullgood evening all

I'm having flashbacks to the black and white TV we had when I was a child, fireball tuner anyone
Hope your day is treating you as kindly as you could wish
@dunelm - fine foliage and a fine and handsome crow, you manage to give your birds so much personality
@gennepher - I didn't know whether to give a 'hug' for you and for Popeye or a 'winner' for still producing such an evocative and impressive piece of artI'm so glad Popeye is ok and please take good care of your damaged finger.
@ianpspurs - a good day indeed, congratulations on your good result
@True Blue - keeping my fingers crossed for good outcomes.
@Muddy Cyclist - A lovely start to the next painting with those distant spires and that majestic treeand I enjoyed your recorder collaboration thank you.
art bit - fairly monochrome

Thank you @gennepher. I like how your raised man turned out. To me, it looks like he is on top of a mountain, looking over the clouds towards a setting sun.Brilliant wings @dunelm
You are amazing with these birds...
Lovely - buckets and spades and rock pools - always a great hit with children and does invoke good memoriesFbg 6.7
I checked on Popeye in the early hours and he is nice and warm and responsive even when asleep...and then a bit later he comes into the bedroom whiskers tickling my face to check I am alive, and he suggested breakfast for him.'. This was 2:30 am. I need a nap now...
Yesterday almost every variety of small bird was in my garden. Some longtailedtits came right up to me. I am assuming it was because Mrs Blackbird was literally at my side watching me eat my breakfast. Then they suddenly realised a very big person was there (me), and flew away, but not before I'd had a good few seconds to see their fluffy feathers on their heads. They were so gorgeous.
The ravens are making a racket on the cherry trees again.
My digital painting for today in Procreate
Memories. Crosby shore again, and one grandchild...
Now this doddery old lady needs a nap...

I am so sorry @RFSMarch that you find yourself being visited so determinedly by my old friend Black Dog - I suppose that I am used to it’s visits over the years. I don’t know you but I wish you well and hope that you can climb out of this. My one comment would be - GET HELP - you are ill and need help - start hear -https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stress-anxiety-depression/mental-health-helplines/.I have decided I am not coming back until I get some kind of meaningful job. It is just too hard to have people cheerfully tell me "oh things will get better, you'll see" when quite clearly for someone in my circumstances they will not, any time soon.
I can't even afford to have a Libre sensor for a full month. THAT is the reality of my situation - not some self-indulgent moaning. The last straw was hearing a colleague who clearly has NO tennis knowledge making basic errors and a complete lack of research. This is my bread and butter knowledge but it is who you know, not what you know and after 8 full years being on the outside looking in... I just can't anymore. It makes no difference how hard I work. None.
I have NO guaranteed income and am living hand to mouth and have been since the summer. For anyone who has been in this situation then you know how it feels and more importantly HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW. So while it may well turn around, right NOW I am in a deep dark hole.
If you don't know how that feels then think yourself lucky and keep your fortune cookie sentiments to yourself.
I may be back if I find work. If I don't, then I won't.
All the best.
Thank you for art and music appreciation.good evening all

Nice subject, good start pleased for you that the Golf is now good to go - one you are allowed somewhere to go toGolf repairedbut no sign of my bike
Muddy Cycle ride today saw me venture to the South of Cannock Chase an area of clay rather than bunter pebble beds. This is the view of the Three Sisters of Lichfield Cathedral form Beaudesert. It's the only Cathedral in the UK with three spires. The scene feels medieval I can imagine the pilgrims getting this first glimpse of the spires and the welcome in one of the many inns.
So A4 watercolour and I will finish it Friday as I have to get on with dinner.

A Beach a Beach my Kingdom for a Beach, a bit dramatic I know but that art is as you say very reminiscent of so many Beach outings in the U.K. A lovely character so well drawn and the reflections in thewet sand, just superb.Fbg 6.7

B&W TV’s used to be all the rage - like flares and winkle pickers but you can probably watch TV in B&W nowadays on your phone. Smashing monochrome view - can we swim in the sea if we take a picture of ourselves with our Kodak brownie?good evening all

Why I was so pleased Golf back on road is I don't have to take Mrs MC in Wilfrid Campervan to sort her horse out every morning, Mrs MC won't drive Campervan, so I'm a free man again.Nice subject, good start pleased for you that the Golf is now good to go - one you are allowed somewhere to go to
That was a good move. I did the same with my first aid box - especially with plasters for the occasional finger slicing incidents. Is the feral cat still around?I do. Thanks @Krystyna23040
As soon as I realised, a year ago, that lockdown was imminent, I stocked up on my first aid box.
The one thing I didn’t have enough of was cotton wool last year, for Popeye’s several abscesses, because of that feral cat attacking him.
I have enough cotton wool now!!!!
Ah! I like a bit of subtrefugeWhy I was so pleased Golf back on road is I don't have to take Mrs MC in Wilfrid Campervan to sort her horse out every morning, Mrs MC won't drive Campervan, so I'm a free man again.
However it would be nice to have somewhere to go.
There is a tin chapel in High Newton by the Sea that is very spiritual to sit in. It is always open, and often has good birds near it in autumn.I wasn't talking about the three spires being the spiritual part of the painting @Muddy Cyclist
I was talking about the sky, the old oak tree, the landscape.
I am not into magnificent buildings. A cathedral is nature, the trees arching over, the landscape, that is spiritual, not bricks/stones and mortar.
I do like very ancient small churches and holy wells however.
But in your painting I was referring to the sky as the main part of spiritually in your painting
That is lovely that Popeye checks that you are ok.Thank you very much @Krystyna23040
But also I am very lucky to have him take care of me. It is 2 am now, and I have just been to the front room to check on him, and he was warm and moving. Two hours ago, at midnight he came from the front room to check I was okay, his whiskers checking every inch of my face, waking me up. So I cuddled him and we both went to sleep....
