What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good to see you back.

Not as you'd wish, but it's paying work at least,
And it sounds like it's s challenge your up for.

London here worked twickers way at times (whitton)
Do SO agree on the fast food.

It Ended up a hybrid of home made and naked burgers kebabs as an odd treat for me, and surprisingly subway,
They offered a great salad pot menu, well worth checking out if one nearby

Best of luck

Hotpot sounds GREAT..yum

Hug for the hurts,
Aching here too

Bending /stooping /stretching unused muscles not happy after decorating

I feel your pain, buddy
Compared to your own ordeal mine is a mere think I am younger than I really am self inflicted lot of aches that will soon pass, but thank you. Keep safe and working towards that full recovery.

We all know that Man In the mirror is a LIAR !!

We are never that old in real life...are we

Wow, that delivery of paper should see you through a few years.

The last of the grapes the ones that didn't make the press. Still a new season begins and we look forward to what delicacy your art brings.

Hi all,
Had my second Pfizer at just before 0900 this am.
Hopefully I will not have much of a reaction.

By the end of March I should be ok if shielding ends on 31st as anticipated in letter.

Hope every one ok?
Been having migraines for a few days since Sunday. Hoping they subside.
Modifying diet and not using screens as much.
D.

Good to hear

I suspect you did read the report that 2nd jab for Pfizer more seem to get some side effects ?

Fingers crossed all goes well and the end of your shielding goes bang on schedule

I sure hope so, it’s quite a pile. Day is panning out quite well here. Just had a blast round the park and then down the prom to check out the beach - nice day so far - blustery but the sun is out. Picture taken from the lifeboat ramp.

Last night checked BG before bed. 5.2
How come at 6.45am it was 5.8?

I get that also. I can be 4.2 at bedtime and 5.6 in the morning. Really annoying as I would really love to have readings in the 4s in the morning.

Ah you taunt us with the beauty of the sea. But thank you.

Evening everyone from enforced solitary confinement!

Haven't done an FBG this morning but will when semblance of a temporary routine emerges. Skipped breakfast and lunch was chicken broth followed by salmon.

Arrival after landing very smooth and quick - took 15m if that and yes everything was sprayed with a disinfectant ; I have a local SIM card which is sms'd every day and if you don't answer you get a visit....covid test in 2 days.

Got the VPN set-up, worked till I dozed.

Dinner is on the way.

A lush metropolis out there which I'll be allowed into in due course

Thankfully the room is big with a little cubby to work in, sitting area and a "terrace" - it's actually a large balcony with 2 chairs and a table. And that's a boon.

Tonight, after dinner, video home, a shower and vino collapso.

I hope everyone is well....

Allow me to introduce you to the neighbourhood nuisance, the Phenomenal Dawn. Just ignore her because you're gorgeous. Mr Slim and Errant told me
The Phenomenal Dawn has family members across the globe and is an unwelcome visitor to me on occasion. I suspect she'll make a visit tomorrow when I wake up...

Whaal. Now that's special.

Fingers crossed. And a massive yay!

I have noticed grey hairs appearing everywhere and more lines than when I was a v bad boy at school...

Thanks chief!

Vine - stunning. Caw!

I think we could learn a few things about how they've handled Covid here.

You're mandated to get a local mobile SIM, they contact you EVERY day, there's polite protocol everywhere and they've nailed it.

Covid test on arrival despite negative and vaccinated; cases sprayed with a foul disinfectant (the plastic wrap on them did its job) and me, sprayed too, but not as foul. Well, maybe I was

Meals are good - but the carbs I will need to stare down...

I wish you all a great weekend and promise not to bore you with quarantine utterances and I'll try to keep quiet...difficult I know
