What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Braw - I have really enjoyed your photos and trip - thanks for sharing

No duck for me for lunch @BRSBRI. Usually no lunch at all but a trial of a possible breakfast to slow the DP. I actually had something very similar way back at the start of this. I added a tblsp of 10% Greek yogurt so all very tasty. I'm highly unlikely to ever get enough protein or eat breakfast any other way. I hope the rise isn't a no no - my cut off is usually 1 but any rise disappoints me. I may need to relax a little - likelihood of that is zero.

Afternoon campers.

A slow day here, to match yesterday's couch fest.

Just off to get something from B&Q and get back to the grindstone

A good few days..
I seem to have moved out of Bond Plateau

I'm nominating the uptick in exercise
for a mention in despatches,
"above and beyond, blah, blah, blah."

Hoping my new temporary accommodation at Six Rivers Falls, lives up to its reviews

They do say there a lovely view, if you go lower down, and are careful, overlooking McGarrett Plains

Used to live there a long time ago, sure the sight of it will bring a joyful tear to my eyes

So yesterday & today's figs

6.9..sunday
6 8 today

A .1 point a day, makes that a 9 day wait.
( If only. )

But I feel I'm making headway and no longer getting blown about by hurricane Glucose.

So all good .

Oh and great montage @BRSBRI

Loving the contrast of the night & day temple/pagoda shots.

Had a lovely drive out to Swaffham (or more correctly Swarrfum as @ianpspurs pointed out).

A really lovely walk around Gooderstone Water Gardens. Although not a huge place the views are stunning as you wind your way around the paths and cross over the many bridges. Have never see the water level so high - when it crossed the weirs it was a raging torrent. Poppy really wanted to dive in.

Sad that the cafe wasn't open. A walk doesn't feel complete without a coffee after. On the way home we picked up Archie's meds from the vet.

Glad to be of service. I d'loike Norfolk so much more than Suffolk, (much more at home) at least in as far as Narborough (from Ely) then again around the N Norfolk coast - not sure about Sunny Hunny. Some of Suffolk may be fine - Constable country? but not The Brecks for me. Glad you enjoyed freedom day.

Glad to hear you are getting more mobile by the day - heading in the right direction - winner!

I went shopping last night and have stocked up on the brazils & cashewts ...

I was up really early @BRSBRI so I avoided some crowds. But where I was expecting to find carparks open, that is to get to the beach and see the Lighthouse, and another car park which I was expecting to be open so you could do a country walk, they were still all locked and barred. And so there was no way I could do anything because I couldn’t park anywhere else.

This is North Wales answer to keep people out from England that shouldn’t be coming into Wales.

I am planning a different trip later in the week to a different destination to see if I can enjoy the countryside that way, instead of the seaside.

Thanks @dunelm for the painting compliment.
It is much easier to paint with the finger...

Very powerful water in your waterfalls...
Great painting.

Brilliant photos @BRSBRI
I like the way the colour has worked out on the first one with the train. And I love those two peaceful beaches ...

Absolutely stunning @BRSBRI
Amazing...

I've been tweaking the software ... As you do

0.1 rise so not rejected. Next experiment will be 2 scoops with 400 mls coffee for a version of nutribulletproof coffee first thing. Ideally after long slow cardio once gym is no longer box central. Or maybe steps now it is lighter, warmer mornings. I tried the mct, butter, heavy cream version - made me heave but I was a brave little boy. TMI?
