What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@ianpspurs DPD have just delivered my whey protein isolate. Will add it to yoghurt and berries at lunch time. Have added it to Fatsecret so will be able to track my protein levels.
Enjoy that and the ribeye joint. I'm off to procure a lamb shoulder. No amount of force will ever make me eat leg of lamb.

I absolutely love lamb shoulder. The fat makes the meat so tender and tasty.
M and S have a great lamb shoulder deal. Enough for 4, 3 sides and unfortunately a dessert for 20 notes ...The lamb shoulder I've had before and it's lip smacking delish...

Wonderful magical mystery bench. Great depiction of plantings.

Both are great paintings @dunelm
I like the colour one in its own right, but maybe not as part of your triptych...I might want to see a different 3rd painting, but then it depends how these 3 paintings would be displayed...
Thanks @gennepher - I can’t see them being displayed anywhere - probably end up in one of the folders that Mrs Miggins stores my pictures in - they have to go in order of production - I wonder if I should jumble some up when she is not about?

Good to see you back, have a great Easter

Thank you @dunelm
It is a special bench.

J asked me to place it there, so he he could sit on it when he had gone...
I had the easy task.

His son was asked to place an old telephone box in their front garden. That telephone box has not materialised yet...

Jumble them up @dunelm ......

Great front garden painting, love the tulips and garden bench. Water bottles used for cushions on garden bench helps with the frozen posterior.

Thank you. My DN, although over two years ago now found some Neuropathy but said my pulse was very good and not a concern, I am probably worrying unduly but ama aware that at times I can stumble and think it may be my feet not properly feeling the ground, of course it could also just be an age thing. I hope to get a review this year. Fingers crossed.

Bike ride was warmer than I expected.

Bike ride was good again, main reason for going was to stop my mind racing. Didn't work as my mind would not stop overworking as I was on easy trails that didn't need any concentration. Against my better judgment I decided I needed something to make me concentrate, regular technical trails hammered with Easter Holiday Visitors and so headed off to some wild trails off the map to visitors. Spent 1 hour riding these trails, jumps, bends, hills, roots and never saw a soul, brilliant and I could only think about one thing, total concentration on the trail, it worked mind back to normal function, well normal for me.

GPS said 2hours 45 minutes moveing and average speed of just over 9 mph, all those rechnical trails obviously reduced my speed.

Had telephone call from Health Centre whilst out on bike, Second Covid jab booked for next Wednesday, yippie.

On the trail pics, daffodils were a bit of a shock, no idea how they got here it's quite remote..

Ended up at another favourite bike stop for a coffee, all safe I think, out of a machine and not that busy considering the number of riders out.

This was difficult not all playing together as timing and feel took away the emotional aspect it my opinion, but it's the only way we are able to perform. Maybe we will manage some outdoor garden playing with new rule of 6 and when we don't have to stay local.

I'm currently drinking tea with this due to playing supermarket sweep in M and S. @BRSBRI we could only find butterflied leg of lamb. Screeching handbrake turn on that and red meat - half a cow came home with us along with kefir and, and, and ....... Allegra, Kellyanne I'ma need y'all to sell this one. Starbucks are to blame - order by app, bring to car, barista says no loos here but M and S is open. We went to Aldi click and collect - smooth and cheap all good. Well away from tourist parts of Cambridge and easy in and out. @Krystyna23040 I too love lamb shoulder but I'm easily led. M and S didn't have sashimi

The lamb shoulder sounds lovely, but unfortunately so does the desert. Mr K saw the advert in the 'i' today and was definitely tempted.
