@ianpspurs DPD have just delivered my whey protein isolate. Will add it to yoghurt and berries at lunch time. Have added it to Fatsecret so will be able to track my protein levels.

I absolutely love lamb shoulder. The fat makes the meat so tender and tasty.Enjoy that and the ribeye joint. I'm off to procure a lamb shoulder. No amount of force will ever make me eat leg of lamb.
M and S have a great lamb shoulder deal. Enough for 4, 3 sides and unfortunately a dessert for 20 notes ...The lamb shoulder I've had before and it's lip smacking delish...I absolutely love lamb shoulder. The fat makes the meat so tender and tasty.
Fab-u-lous5.5 for me today - yay! back in the 5s club
Wonderful magical mystery bench. Great depiction of plantings.Fbg 6.8
I have been out in the front garden since dawn (pollen count too high for me later in the day). This is my front garden drawn in SketchClub app, and painted in Procreate app.
I am frozen stiff now, and my posterior is going to need a lot longer warm up under my electric blanket.

Thanks @gennepher - I can’t see them being displayed anywhere - probably end up in one of the folders that Mrs Miggins stores my pictures in - they have to go in order of production - I wonder if I should jumble some up when she is not about? Both are great paintings @dunelm
I like the colour one in its own right, but maybe not as part of your triptych...I might want to see a different 3rd painting, but then it depends how these 3 paintings would be displayed...
Good to see you back, have a great EasterMorning all... been a while but plan is to reintroduce Libre sensor to my beleaguered limbs on Sunday night. So hopefully back to posting from Monday.
Adjustment to a job in an office with REAL people (and a cat from upstairs!) has been tougher than I thought after a year. Means I have had no issues doing my treadmill and spin bike session but then totally run out of steam. Also had a knee issue which seems to have resolved (bizarrely most markedly after I had the jab!). Need to be a lot better in April. Dodged a bullet with no weight loss this month... but no gain either - so given I baked myself a coffee cake on a whim for my second lockdown birthday and nibbled it away in around 5-6 days, I will gladly take that!
This week has been intense with it being the last week before the end of the tax year, which for a payroll company is... mega. So I accepted the suggestion that "it would be super helpful if you COULD come in and do some extra hours" gratefully because to put not too fine a point on it, I need the money. I have no idea how long it will last as at the moment most of their staff are working at home, but bit by bit they are looking to bring people back into the office, so for as long as it lasts, I will gratefully take it... and let the accountants sort out the PAYE element.
Beggars can't be choosers... and I worked out that this month alone, I can use the money to pay back my best mate who so very kindly lent me almost £1k after a temporary tenant caused £00s of damage to things in the house in just a month... the relief of not having that over me is.... overwhelming.
Britwatch is having to be managed in my lunch-hour (the boss and lodger very kindly let me work off a Wifi personal hotspot and my laptop in my lunch break) and obviously the usual evening matches etc.
Ironically the down side of getting a job and some much needed relief to what has been a tough time is... the guy I was chatting to from a dating site has gotten more sniffy since I took the job and gets annoyed if I have been asked to come in for extra days or opt to stay a little later to help getting things done. Bear in mind we were planning to actually meet (and not just have vid calls) in April for a proper out-door restauarant meal... but seems to have gotten annoyed that I am not purely working at home on Britwatch as I was before.
Was supposed to have a video call last night after having had to prepare for a pre-interview assessment task this week (obviously still looking for journalism/press/comms roles) and I have noticed if we don't video call at least every couple of days, he gets tetchy. Everything is fine once we have a video call and have noticed that even just giving him a quick call before I have to do any tennis stuff annoys him - he would rather not have a quick chat and hold off for a longer video call... which has not always been as possible as before I had to work. Anyway - will see what he feels like when he gets back from visiting family for Easter.
I can't NOT work. I need the money. I can't NOT look for journalism opportunities in the mean time, because I want to try and make this second career work. Maybe it is for the best we haven't actually met in the flesh yet. He has said more than once not to take the extra work. But... I do have bills to pay, and that ain't gonna happen without more money coming in so... [/shrug]
Anyway .... back on Monday hopefully.
Thank you @dunelmWonderful magical mystery bench. Great depiction of plantings.

Great front garden painting, love the tulips and garden bench. Water bottles used for cushions on garden bench helps with the frozen posterior.Fbg 6.8

Thank you. My DN, although over two years ago now found some Neuropathy but said my pulse was very good and not a concern, I am probably worrying unduly but ama aware that at times I can stumble and think it may be my feet not properly feeling the ground, of course it could also just be an age thing. I hope to get a review this year. Fingers crossed. Before I was formally T2DM diagnosed in January this year, I had pins and needles, cramps in both feet. Also a buzzing sensation in my fingers. There was also hair loss on the calves which are now shiny and as smooth the proverbial baby's posterior.
As my BG has come down from the mid double digits to a recent 7 day average of 6 something, I still get tingling but not as noticeable and I believe nerves renew but at a glacial pace.
Red wine doesn't affect my BG, but 2 oatcakes even with 11.2g of carbs can send me sideways. Cheese I love - a Valençay goats cheese with celery or a runny brie with half a pear is how I sate my needs...
My DSN ticked a box which said I am at high risk of neuropathological issues as my big left toe failed the tickle test - but MrsBRS had me pass one before I left for Taiwan. The reason the DSN ticked the box is to access short term diabetic podiatry resources...wonder if that might be an option out your way too?
Hope you have a warm(ish) bike ride...![]()
Thanks @Muddy Cyclist for the painting compliment.Great front garden painting, love the tulips and garden bench. Water bottles used for cushions on garden bench helps with the frozen posterior.![]()
The lamb shoulder sounds lovely, but unfortunately so does the desert. Mr K saw the advert in the 'i' today and was definitely tempted.M and S have a great lamb shoulder deal.
