What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

8.45am FBG 6.2 **** those tempting little chocolate morsels.
But worse, have just discovered that MrSlims present is in the UK. The parcel I opened contained a bottle of very nice and well shaken champagne, not quite what I was expecting. OOPS! Now what do I do?

@jjraak was the tunnel ok, are you either home or going asap? @SlimLizzy hug for Mr Slim's present but c'mom the guy already won the lottery when you said yes. @lindisfel hug for the youngsters issue - potent "agents of transmission" for all sorts - but great that you acquired the medicine. now home and chillax. Tea/coffee/single malt etc until Once in Royal David's City from Kings.

Good morning friends!

Fbg at 5am was 4.7 , I think it has to do with me being on my feet most of the night helping prepare Christmas eve nibblies, washing dishes and cleaning in laws house.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Have had a lovely and relaxing day - just dog walking and reading. It is so lovely to do no work whatsoever.

A long exhausting day

But finally home, in bed , meds taken
Recovery begins here

Merry Christmas & happy new year all.

I think @ianpspurs sums up best what winning the lottery really means

Love & peace x

Bad reaction to the booster Spikevax
It has raised my blood sugar.
Not capable of any train of thought, only random bits that fade.

Never ever in my life had bad reaction to a vaccine.

Pain, befuddled brain, excessively tired, no sense of balance, something using me as pin cushion. Legs giving way. Joints giving way. Left hip giving way. Couldn't grip with hands, Haven't been able to do anything all yesterday. Eyesight blurred. Can't think to do stuff. Thought fades before I can act on it.

Sorry this not cheery Xmas message.

Can't paint this morning. This bluetit from few days ago.

Going back to sleep...

Big hugs gennepher feel better soon xx merry xmas

Oh @gennepher

Such a horrid reaction.

Praying it eases as quickly as possible

Hug for the reaction. I have read that a strong reaction is a good sign - eventually. Merry Christmas sounds discordant but comes from a good place.
