So sorry if my post reopened old wounds .@jjraak Errant was shot at the beginning of the hunting season 25th sept last year and died on 27th Oct. You may have been in hospital at the time. I am still grieving for him, but now open to considering another cat, which might possibly be as good for my mental health as your recent outings were for yours.
A great day was had by all, it seems @dunelmGood morning everyone on another day with a bit of promise in the air here in the dark and dangerous north.
Easter egg hunting basket making went well and blow me down when the grandchildren went into the garden, the Easter Bunny had somehow smashed it in the hidden egg department. Clutches of eggs abound, mostly now residing in the fridge. Mummy and Daddy arrived just in time and then we all went down to the beach. Lunch with Alan Fresco and then rides on the miniature steam railway followed by a hike up through the woods as the blooming funicular wasn’t working (mainly because modern times are not as smart as Victorian ones when it comes to basic engineering know how - I blame the church for not insisting upon proper names like Isambard, Hertha or even Bazalgette). 4.30pm session in the swimming baths followed by dinner round at our daughters house and the grandchildren were asleep as soon as their heads hid the pillows. A good day and I ended up with a bit of a tan - farmers style.
Art bit - a bit dark but never mind. Have a splendid Easter Sunday. Must make koffy and re-energise.

Enjoy yourself @alf_JosiahGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen,
A 6.5 on that meter.
Here in Tilehurst Towers things are trifle frosty, other chilled desserts available from all good chilled cabinets. We are Mordor bound this morning our usual route takes us past that foot the ball stadium Wembley so the traffic will be horrendous, why the idiots rebuilt the supposed national stadium in Mordor, they should have built the stadium in the middle of the country, this just another reason why the game of foot the ball has no interest for me, me’s and myself. Moan over with.
Well fellow posters and painters have a great Sunday, indulge if you must. Now I must go and prepare for the great expedition, standing in that rain cabinet and rearrange the sawdust from yesterday’s woodworking session. I finished a neighbour’s handrail 9.6 metre’s long, no pictures it’s shy and not very photogenic.
Stay safe, please stay away from the A406.
Thank you @gennepher and yes, a good day had by all.A great day was had by all, it seems @dunelm
Art bit might be dark in colour, but I don't find it dark in its theme.
Lots going on in there...
Oh no! Hope you don’t end up sitting in a large queue to nowhere in particular.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen,

Another splendid illustrated memory. Enjoy the sunshine.Fbg 6.6
Shadow was swinging on my large wooden swing while I slept a bit longer this morning.
Now gennepher's cat diner is open as usual, with all the usual suspects attending.
The solitary raven is watching from the cherry trees, but has never visited the diner yet.
Creative today, is from my early life story for the grandchildren.
I am 11years old and attend Rochester Art School Saturday classes.
And we would go out sketching. I was paired with a girl called Marigold. I remember her name because I thought it was weird someone would be named after an orange flower.
We often went to Rochester Castle to sketch. It was a short walk from the Art School.
My favourite skirt was now a green kilt, not the red one of earlier years.
Sun today.
Blue skies.
Fluffy white clouds.
Time for coffee and a potter round the garden.
Have a good day.

Thank you @ianpspurs and we all made the very best of such a sunny day yesterday.Greetings on Easter Sunday. Please don't take offence if I add He is risen indeed, Alleluia as a greeting. The weather here is bright if distinctly cool so far but forecast to be sunny and a pleasantly warm(ish) 18c. @dunelm thanks for the art and yesterday sounds am-aze-ing. @gennepher great creative with a wonderful story. @alf_Josiah a better fbg, well done on the handrail and do have a safe and stressless as possible journey. @Krystyna23040 was the Dun Cow as wonderful as the menu looked? Who are the rebels not having lamb today? Don't forget to stud those shoulders with anchovies as well as the usual suspects. Go Team D.
Dun Cow was really good for everyone except me, as there was no salad to have instead of the carbs and only green beans and broccoli were available to have with my Ribeye steak. Everyone else really enjoyed their food. Parking though was a nightmare.Greetings on Easter Sunday. Please don't take offence if I add He is risen indeed, Alleluia as a greeting. Shame about the salad at the Dun Cow but your excellent protocols mean all was easily absorbed by your body and a memorable family day was widely enjoyed.5.2 this morning.
