Thanks very much @dunelmSplendid digital painting. You could try silicone gel or onion extract on scar tissue and perhaps Vaseline to help keep tissue soft - sun tan lotion will help prevent burning. Wear armored gloves and goggles.
Thank you @ianpspurs and the ride out and meal were splendid although we did end up in Whitby.Welcome to Friday although some of you may be far advanced into your daily routine. We here in the Exotic East are promised some summer so have a song for the season . (Lyrics) Salmon salad day and extra grandchild minding duties today. One 10 month old grandson. Arrangements for nursery and stage school runs appear to be fluid. Wonderfully detailed account of wildlife @gennepher. Thank you for the art, I need to cogitate and deliberate some more on how that makes me feel. @dunelm I hope the ride out and meal yesterday were splendid. Thanks in advance for sharing your art and do enjoy your koffy. My body worked for some lawn mowing and strimming yesterday which pleased me more than I think it should but it is not right to dissemble or cloak things. Enjoy your day and allow everyone else the same privilege.
A magical mystery tour. Was whitebait to be had? Enjoy France. If my body is ever compliant I would dearly love at least one more visit to the Perigord Noir although common sense and relationship counselling dictate myself and JKP shouldn't canoe along the Dordogne anymore. Watching other people struggle to negotiate the waterfall at Brantome , from a suitable cafe, would work well. Foie Gras salad with Montbazziliac in Sarlat and Ostrich with Camenbert in St Emillion appeal far more than anything Diet Dr offers.Thank you @ianpspurs and the ride out and meal were splendid although we did end up in Whitby.
Sounds good the planned trip to France.Good morning everyone on a splendidly bright, sunny and breezy start here in the dark and dangerous north
We our run out did not go exactly to plan. We ended up in Whitby so all’s well that ends well. We have taken the bait and planned a trip to French Froggy France to visit my parents towards the end of the month. Tunnel booked, an hotel in Folkestone to give us a leisurely trip down before an early morning train and then a couple of B&B’s for a bit of sight seeing on a slow wander back through France. How exciting. Will I still be able to order entrecôte Bordelaise à point? Today we have the girl in the bubble as mum is going into work today - she usually works from home on a Monday and a Friday. What fun, where shall we go?
Art bit - some rocky cliffs. Have a splendid day today, tuck it onto the weekend if you like. Best make some koffy and take some tramadol and ibuprofen to kickstart the day.

Sounds like your medical records were quite scary to read @jjraak.Morning
Still no BG this week.
Early wake up this morning.
Lauren hurt leg muscle yesterday or previous
We have furry nephew staying who she normally walks into work with her
But the early wake up was because she doesn't feel comfortable walking so far today,. So can I doggie sit .....no problemo.
She left , he snuggled up onto bed and we both dropped off to sleep again....
A few weeks back ...I asked for All my medical records after accident,
To assist me with solicitors
Arrived yesterday.. electronically
Mmhhh.
Some horrifying ..(police & ambulance reports included)
Some quite dry and bland.
But omg, reading deep into the notes, etc
I'd suggest never having a major accident OR having what seems a Total body scan .
Various sites checked as bits of me damaged or broken on the day was quite extensive obv.
But it was the 'oh, by the way....' notes included underneath of some reports.that caught my eyes .
Let's just say, ANY incident or injury you ever had leaves a mark and I guess at some point as we age becomes more 'worn'.
And IF you have ever googled some obscure sounding condition anyone's ever mentioned to you....you'll know the rabbit holes doing so, can take you down..
Calming myself down, trying to grade each titbit of information into 'oh interesting to 'holy'..
Not how I thought I'd be spending yesterday.
Still trying to balance how lucky I am to have had (accident not included obviously)
Such a deep survey beyond the skin WITH weighing up just how worthy it is worrying too much about it
Good to know, if I get aches & pains later on in life I can maybe throw a few ideas with merit into the mix
Off to walk Frankie, suns out but its cloudy
Perfect for our needs
Enjoy the day
Indeed at firstSounds like your medical records were quite scary to read @jjraak.
Whitebait was to be had. Got to love a Fox Gras salad but will the Monbazillac frighten your blood sugars? I have a bottle of Royal Tokaji that has been sitting in the cupboard for the past few years, too frightened to open it! I like St Emillion, the town. Prices of wine there can be frightening. Vrac is the way to go.A magical mystery tour. Was whitebait to be had? Enjoy France. Thank you @gennepher we will be traveling in our little Smart car. The last time we went to Europe in our last Smart car, we did 9 countries in 21 days without making any plans and just stopping at places that took our fancy.Sounds good the planned trip to France.
I hope the travelling all goes smoothly @dunelm
Great rocky cliffs at bit!
It is almost a sheer cliff!
Thanks. I am looking forward to salade de gésiers and we will be stocking up on tins of confit du canard. Well, as much as you can get in a Smart car.Which just proves that when you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there
Sounds like a good day out.
Nice idea on the french trip .
You & @ianpspurs have made me hungry for some nice french food ..mmmhh
Maybe you'll bump into @SlimLizzy on your travels
Have a good day
Sorry to hear that Lauren has hurt a leg muscle- a massage will hopefully sort it out. All those notes and scan pictures may be a bit of a fright but work forward and rejoice in the progress.Morning

Wow, that was some travelling @dunelmThank you @gennepher we will be traveling in our little Smart car. The last time we went to Europe in our last Smart car, we did 9 countries in 21 days without making any plans and just stopping at places that took our fancy.

When I got my medical records (because of an issue), under freedom of information act from a few years ago back to 1971 (no earlier ones were available), it was like reading someone else's medical records...I never knew that...no one told me about that condition...I never got treatment from my GP for that...and so on. But it did make sense and gave me reasons why. Mine were photocopies of microfiche files. A lot.
Make sure you keep your electronic paperwork safe. Keep it backed up in a few different places. It will be important at some time.
More gentle hugs for you...
Yes, you are right. Not many of us would get anywhere near a clear report.Indeed at first
But then i settled down.
Some wear and tear expected
As we travel over the bumps in life
I'm a rather old model, even if a classic.
( Though it's sort of nice to think we're unique, that would make me just a prototype...)
But honestly doubt if many of a certain age would get anywhere Near a clear report if opportunity allowed
I take solace in being in the majority
One other thing @jjraakExactly
And it was a BIG reminder of when I got DX for T2..
I traced back over 9 years bloods and no one had suggested they were poor
Even once I changed to the EWD (eatwell & die) diet...it was still poor
The only time it improved was on LCHF ..who'd a thunk it. .....
But forewarned is forearmed
So they say.
