What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@ianpspurs we had a lovely 2 hour walk around Sheringham Park in the shade of the trees so the dogs didn't get too hot. It was a history day which made it really interesting. The Sausage Roll Man was very happy as he had a lovely sausage roll plus he enjoyed talking to the ATS about the old wartime motorbikes they were riding.

@gennepher Midnight will definitely be an indoor cat before very long.

I don't envy you doing the house preparations in this heat.

Lazy day, did a good bit yesterday.
Back to exercises now docs cleared my mind of danger
A little too much, most likely, but pacing isn't my strongest point
Hope the exercises go well @jjraak . I am not that good at pacing either, but it does have its advantages because when I tell my clients about the importance of pacing I have first hand experience of what hapoens when you don't.

Speed kills not distance according to the gurus I read when preparing for a marathon. Sherigham park sounds so good, so good, so good.

I gave you a hug @jjraak
Because of the sausage roll not tasting that good.
Not fair ....

Well said. I have jumped out of perfectly serviceable aircraft (according to the RAF), ridden bikes and dived off cliff faces wearing nothing more that a length of string and a figure of eight break - not sure what comes next or even which one gave the greatest thrill - probably not as scary as helping with delivering my lad - well scary!

Hi!
Bye...
Time for my cuppa

Creative....me messing in photo apps...

Good morning everyone on what looks to be yet another day of hopping from shade to shade here in the not very dark yet still blindingly dangerous north. Yesterday was a full on 13000 step day with morning entertainment provided by the girl in the bubble who was well on form. We posted some cards (always one at a time) and then into town for al fresco toast. Then, down to the promenade by riding in the funicular before the tourists arrive. Beach filling up with bathers and surfers and only just gone 10am. Up through the woods to keep in the shade and then back home before 12 noon before the heat really got going. New doors scheduled to arrive today - 5 - wonder when they will eventually get fitted?
Art bit - not much progress but the trunks of the trees are just about there. Have a wonderful day if you can. Bottles of ice and fans at the ready -I will be opening every door and window in a wee while. But first, koffy.

Morning all from a more or less the same but increasingly less cold Suffolk. I managed to bumble my way through another day by doing all the right or wrong things so I'll try again today. One of the very right things will be to care for and treasure God's gift of a >1 y.o. grandson. Naturally JKP and I will do it all wrong in the opinion of some or other soothsayer in exactly the same way that all we imperfect humans do every day. I'm thankful for the sharing of your creations @gennepher and @dunelm. Great step count yesterday @dunelm - will you pay the price today? Enjoy the sun or shade, company or solitude, noise or quiet - etc, etc today. Meanwhile, elsewhere Apparently, if bankers et al can keep more of their bonuses the cost of living crisis will melt like snow. Has no one been awake for the last almost 50 years?

5.5 this morning. Although a long day and evening in Norwich I have got a very long break so will have lots of time to relax and read. Good that my Norwich venue has air con.
