I agree with that phrase @jjraakOtherwise all's good
Still not ventured deep with therapist, building up to that moment, it seems
Talk of anchoring & focusing on the 'now'
To assist my 'Recall' if I get too deep in the remembering.
Did a little meditation breathing, rather liked it
Been doing a little each day
Funny how we value time
Doing that before felt like wasted time.
But now ...mmhh.
The phrase "dress me slowly for I am in a hurry", makes a little more sense, now
Enjoy the weekend ...
HAPPY SATURDAY ALL
It’s all moving along- small measurable steps. You always need a watchkeeper who does nothing but reflects upon whats going on so a bit of meditation in some form is always beneficial - What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.Early morning wake up.
So reporting for duty
Fbg ...mmmh.
Washed hands, tested 9.2 ...eek
Had touch two things once I washed before testing, carefully I thought, but maybe not.
Washed again..8.1....ok, not ideal, but I'll take that ....can only think it's worry & I snuck a few cherries late on the night before
As for now, poor me wide awake at silly o'clock, honestly, I had a good long sleep
Yesterday morning & a good sleep earlier (Friday evening )...so not unreasonable to be awake right now.
Reason for odd sleeps, even if very refreshing, is I have taken doctor's advice to heart and upped the exercise .
Nothing too extreme but more off it then of late.
Simple stuff really.
I try to walk more then I did, when leg being so painful worried me.
Even Got into a little routine now.
I take dog out using e-scooter..I'm too slow he likes to run ..we have a route few use.
Short little gallop for him, as he races to a nearby doggie park
Off the lead, he runs & chases with other dogs usually very well.. (dislikes some dogs for no apparent reason)..so he's contented & uses up that excess energy, bless him
If no dogs there, I try to throw his ball or a stick, but we both grow tired of that quickly
Me, as both are really hard, shoulder still not right, but it's a work in progress., And it's now part of my own rehab
And he loses interest in bringing ball back
And I can't dart at ball to make it interesting
and walking to him, for him to dash off, ( cheeky mutt ..) just tires me quickly
Lauren meets us after work, THEN he gets the full chase & tease of fetch.
I'm trying to do more of that, with the add on, of walking home using scooter as crutch rather then simply riding it
It's not too far, but far enough to leave me on empty once home
I'd say it's a good ache, one where muscles are once again rebuilding.please god
Recent conversations have seriously focused my thoughts on giving the leg & muscles as much of a workout as possible, before September's meet with surgeon's.
Otherwise all's good

Frank Ifield is your man for Yodel5.1 this morning. Wasted so much time trying to get the yodel app working on my phone. In the end gave up and checked my Nespresso delivery on the computer. Now I must dash off to work in Norwich. Will catch up with posts later.
Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who will be unsupervised for most of the day.
.
A Chinese takeaway last night inspired a 6.9 on the meter this morning, I would call that a result, Chinese food tends to shoot my blood sugars, it’s those not hidden sugars.
.
@jjraak thanks for the picture, but for me substitute vegan bacon sarnies on brown break with no sauce and good koffy.
He in Tilehurst Towers the day is uncharted, but a direction has been determined.
Stay safe all.
Q. Are any pans, truly non stick for life ?Good morning everyone from a glorious start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. I have an old and so called ‘non stick’ frying pan that allegedly has a ‘lifetime guarantee’ but with no notes as to what the average life span of a frying pan is. Also, is it the same in the north as say Cornwall and what about comparisons round the globe. Scandinavian frying pans may well be happier and live longer, not so much in Scotland. Anyhow. I shall try the trick of heating to a boil and then simmering a mixture of water, white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda and then rubbing with a bit of oil and see what happens - Frying pan equivalent of rubbing a battery to get another day out of it. Girl in the bubble over for a sleep over. What fun!, and a bit of respite for mum and dad.
Art bit - some more twigs and stuff on the trees from yesterday. Hope your day is kind to you. My koffy is ready for the plunge.

Not had your wealth of experience by Any means @ianpspurs , but I too had similar & only came across the phrase when our Steph had an army friend stay over one timeMorning all on another day ordered from central casting provided your livelihood doesn't depend on bumper crops or lush pasture. Quite the philosophical morning here. @jjraak good news on the extra exercise and reflecting on the balance twixt the fierce urgency of now and don't panic captain Mainwaring. I'd never heard of dress me slowly I'm in a hurry despite having been exposed to a few lectures about Napoleon and all kinds of management/leadership talks and books. Seems incredibly like the way in which top athletes/sports people seem to make "time stand still"/ just have so much time compared to we mere mortals. @dunelm enjoy the non-stick pan experiment. Maybe this will ease the pain if the treatment fails. Enjoy the day with TGIB. @gennepher take it easy again today and hydrate well. Everyone else, same place again tomorrow - God willing?

The amount of non stick frying pans for life that I have had could probably be hung from the railings side by side from Tower Bridge to London Bridge...Good morning everyone from a glorious start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Thank you @gennepher and yes, so many non stick frying pans to confuse future archeologists. The amount of non stick frying pans for life that I have had could probably be hung from the railings side by side from Tower Bridge to London Bridge...
