I agree with that phrase @jjraakOtherwise all's good
Still not ventured deep with therapist, building up to that moment, it seems
Talk of anchoring & focusing on the 'now'
To assist my 'Recall' if I get too deep in the remembering.
Did a little meditation breathing, rather liked it
Been doing a little each day
Funny how we value time
Doing that before felt like wasted time.
But now ...mmhh.
The phrase "dress me slowly for I am in a hurry", makes a little more sense, now
Enjoy the weekend ...
HAPPY SATURDAY ALL![]()
When I abide by its principles, I get more done in the day, and I am more relaxed, and chilled out, even though the day may be a struggle.
It feels as though you/me are being lazy (conventional thinking) because we have probably been taught we should push on regardless.
But listening to ourselves (and our bodies, me being older with disabilities, you with your more severe injuries), without actually physically pushing ourselves beyond what is good for us, we are able to follow the advice of "dress me slowly for I am in a hurry". It makes a lot of sense to me, always has done.
But like any human being, I fall by the wayside from time to time (more than I should) and then I return to it, and life is so much easier and more efficient.
Take care
