What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Ouch for the low
Off biking today ?
Good luck getting bloods to match up if so

As for music..a mixed bag, do I discern a wish to have been there in person ?

If so write in & complain.. you might just get a complimentary ticket to shut you up...

How oblivious we are to how cats in particular stay safe during the night hours sharing space with the less domesticated creatures of the night

Fascinating stuff

And another 1+ for the excellent use of tech.

Us silver surfers, we might be slower getting there, but not much we can't do, when we put our minds to it

Hoorrah, the grey army..

6.5 this morning. I had pasta salad for dinner last night and someone mentioned the bg effect is over a longer period.
Hi.

Yes indeed, some foods have a long life re spikes

A slower or delayed spike, can catch us out when adhering closely to the 2 hours rule

Think those with cgm capture and prove that point.

Never did myself, but others did test at the 3 & 4 hour marker if pin pricking

I rarely have pasta now, closest I get is courghetti spirals

Natty little cone spiral cutter, easy to clean & takes up little space in the knife draw, suits us fine.

( Last thing we needed was another piece of kitchen tech taking up space after being used 1 or 2 times, before being put away ....though might be getting the George foreman back out with the spiralling price of energy costs )

Maybe try it, if you haven't ?..can't say i notice courghetti spoiling the meal, but like I say little experience of pasta since DX..maybe my taste buds have evolved.

You are doing very well, even if it may not feel like it at times.
Progress is there.
Hugs for Marley (he'll scratch and claw back no doubt). My little Ammy has witchery pointy ears just like Marley. I noticed this morning as she shot into the kitchen to devour her breakfast in the minimum gulps.
The night is a wonderful mysterious place....

And a quick hug for you!

Oh dear - fox spray - blaghhh! Still better than having a dog who would probably love to roll in anything with such a delicate perfume. Thanks for the collage.

Smashing, tech know how, red arrows, smashing pictures.

you are getting there - good days outweighing bad days - take it easy

You absolutely must complain. Hope your blood sugars settled upwards a bit.

Good afternoon everyone from a swinging from dull to bright afternoon here in the dark and dangerous north. Wonderful day doing an explore around Lud’s Church with the grandchildren. Lots of blueberries and blackberries picked and eaten, the odd Elderberry and a few nibbles of Beech nuts on the trails. ‘Collections’ made of things of interest to take home and a round trip of nearly six miles with ice cream and orange squash to finish. We are now back home. Little Miss Pamplemouse and I have done the shopping and the ninky nonks are out with Gran. Sticky rice with chicken and sugar snap peas for dinner tonight. Grandchildren's choice, so probably a chicken salad for Mrs Miggins and myself. Art bit - another one completed so best get on with another one.

Lovely day by the sounds of it ..

And cracking painting.

Midnight amazes me how he interacts with wild animals...
And still stays safe...
Yup!
Silver Surfers rule!!!!!!

Was looking at one of those....
Very good reviews

How do you find it ..acceptable ?
Hi @jjraak, we don’t have a conventional oven in our kitchen, just an induction hob and this Ninja oven sat on the worktop. There are only two of us normally. I can cook two things at once in it, for example some chicken and a tray of roast mixed veg or fish and some veg. We rarely use the Ninja foodie, only if there are lots to cater for. The multi cooker comes out for autumn/winter when we do soups, stews, slow cooking. Works for us and uses less electricity than conventional (big) ovens.

Thanks. I hope your recovery continues however frustrating things seem at times.

Stunning art. Is it an insult or a compliment to say it looks like a photograph?

This is absolutely amazing....
