What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone from somewhere on the Amalfi Coast in virtual world. My sister and I are on a virtual walking tour. We did Angkor Wat in Cambodia last month but she wanted something a bit closer to home this time - more than a nano-second on a virtual plane is so virtually exhausting. Meanwhile, back in the land of reality (still not worked out what that actually is), physio yesterday was it’s usual treat and thank you for your good wishes. Bins need putting out for double dip bin day. Mrs Miggins has done a stirling job filling the garden bin to overflow, there is talk of a micro clover lawn in the spring. Negotiations are ongoing. Girl in the bubble needs collecting from nursery at 1130 so a fun packed time is anticipated. Art bit, an arch to begin with. Massive hugs for those who need them, especially those ballooning towards tighter shorts. Best make some koffy and then get the bins motivated.

The YouTube video I did of the night's Trail Camera activities...

And then the creative collage I did of it.

But, I did a YouTube short of that friendly badger looking for Midnight. It wasn't the best, and I could see the glaring mistakes once I had posted it. Embarrassing. Then I looked at the views a short while later. What the heck is YouTube algorithms doing to me?
2.7 k views.....
I text daughter in Oz. I want to crawl under a rock, I said.
Why Mum? 2.7k views! Be happy, she said.
I text a friend, say the same.
Brilliant, she says, and sends me every celebratory emojie there is...

Right...now to do a much better YouTube short that will beat those views...I will let you know when I succeed...

A few cuppas needed now...

Enjoy the day. Give it your best!

More tantalising windows, great beginnings...
I had to Google clover lawns @dunelm
Makes sense.
On the farm, when I was a child, every 3rd year, the field was left fallow, and clover was planted that year. Natural fertiliser. And that was when the donkey always appeared...

10.7 this morning at 5.45. Rising again, as usual, on the strength of painkillers and tea.

BG currently 13.4 and rising. Not sure why, once I get to the teens, I feel very hungry but that is usually what happens.
What was I thinking? My 10.7 reading was at 2.45 not 5.45. Currently up to 16.8 but I've just taken insulin and had breakfast. Hoping it will start to drop now.

@gennepher I am so sorry that everything has turned upside down in your life and that it has affected your children also.

Smashing it on YouTube - foxy badger watch with cometary by Midnight

Hello everyone from what is the sunny early autumn day we were promised here yesterday to form a sort of guard of honour as a farewell to summer 2022. Last hurrah for shorts although I may also need to toast my pine nuts later The only ballooning today is the national debt and interest payments as my weight is up and down like the value of sterling which seems to have made a miraculous recovery this morning. Against everything known to humankind the Dynamic Duo are certain they can make wealth trickle in the opposite direction to that observed everywhere it has been tried. Hugs must abound on here today; @jjraak for a difficult day yesterday; @Annb for pain and bg issues; @lindisfel and The Duchess for costly remedial eye work and lesion issues respectively. @dunelm splendid art again, enjoy your time with TGIB and good news on physio going well. Virtual travel is such a wonderful idea. @gennepher fantastic number of views on Youtube already and thanks for the collage as well as today's video. @karen8967 wonderful to see that smile emoji. Busy day here: MIL has an eyesight test; two vacuum cleaners to be serviced; two grandchildren to be collected from school then fed and watered. Covid jab done although I'm not thrilled (understatement) it was Moderna. Do enjoy your day safely whilst discharging your duty of care to those you meet and those needing prayers or other help.

So sorry to read that an event has turned your world upside down. Bad enough that it affects your eyesight but to also affect your children must make it doubly painful. I hope your strategies continue to work and cannot express my admiration enough for how you deal with your own issues, care for the wildlife and be so mindful of others as that post shows. Take care of yourself in amongst all that caring for others.

Thank you @ianpspurs
Hugs for the Moderna Covid jab...

Thank you very much @ianpspurs
I will take care of myself. I am more mindful of me, and asking questions of myself, like 'What do I need this very minute?' And tending to that need in whatever way I can...
As you say, I need to be okay to be able to help others...
Thank you

Well done..nice work

Boo for big ted , though.

grassing on midnight...
Very frowned upon..

Awake early...
The trail cameras both ran out of battery life, despite looking good when I set them up.
So a bit of a failure here, but I can only work with what I have. Pictures were not good, and the videos were either black, or had just a few seconds of poor quality video.
Creative collage is Midnight showing his teeth. And the moments later, the badger I call Kissy Kissy, plants her nose on cat, Midnight, who promptly gives her a smack.
Full sound effects in video...
Cuppa needed.
Have a good day...
