My Fitbit is on a final warning. No more messages like that - or else..........I really want to give you funny for this last paragraph, I’m still grinning now.
I have to admit I would most concerned if a Fitbit gave me that sort of message, firstly I don’t have a Fitbit and secondly I’m not a woman.
Congratulations on number of the paces.
I am afraid Midnight refuses to step on the scales, but the day he does, I will let you know."And welcome to thunderdome.
In the blue corner, weighing in at 3 1/2 kilos,
The Merthyr Tydfil marauder, ...MIDNIIIIIIIGGHT......"
That feels like a little 'THIS is Mine " with a tad of the large friendly bully, who comes along to ' chat' but who you know will steal your pocket money & lunch in an instant ...
Lessons learned somewhere, me thinks
Not sure how far Kissee kissee & midnight might have roamed, before washing up at Chez Gennepher...mmhh ?
Be a most interesting tale if only it was possible to find out ..< sad face >
That is really good news @ianpspursPhone consultation yesterday went as well as could be expected in that the last scan showed all stable and bloods were seen to be "all good.."
Thanks. Yes I was "a tad" relieved. Actually had a good chat with the consultant. He is a Spurs fan who went from Twickenham to a pub to watch the Spurs game last Sunday. We bonded and agreed both results were execrable with performances full of fury and signifying nothing. That is really good news @ianpspurs
No - definitely not. Em's here and we just had a very interesting conversation about false information being put onto social media. Em already has the attitude of a skeptic - she gets that from her parents and from me, but she does believe in love and kindness to all creatures, even if they are fearsome to you (like spiders). She has heard about a theory that the world is to end this year because some rock, somewhere, has split and has let the devil out! She doesn't believe it although she does think the world is in a precarious state right now.Thanks. The scornful adoption of the use of worthy is a "weapon" of those opposed to PC who rail against just about everything and anything embodied in the sentiments of those verses. From all you reveal about your spirit you are definitely not one of those.
Better to get that message than to get "consult a doctor re cardio results".5.1 this morning. All OK at the dentist yesterday. Didn't feel that happy on the bus as it was quite full on the way in. Up to now busses have been travelling virtually empty.
Was happy that I had done 17K steps yesterday. Did some of then almost at running pace as I crossed Norwich to catch my bus back.
At least I didn't get a message from fitbit saying 'excellent cardio for a woman of your age' - which always really annoys me.
Yes, you are right @Annb. I hadn't thought of it in that way.Better to get that message than to get "consult a doctor re cardio results".
Beautiful detail @dunelmGood morning everyone, still too dark to see outside but we have been promised a no rain scenario here in the dark and dangerous north. Bloods - yes, I still have some, 5.1 this morning. Remembrance Sunday so we are off to a local service. Later, who knows. Art bit - adding some scratchy detail. Have a wonderful day if you can. I am now going to have an early koffy.

That is so horrible @gennepher. Hope you start feeling a lot better very soon. It is actually quite worrying for anyone with an allergy that lists of ingredients are often so hard to decipherFbg 9.1
I had a bad reaction to one of the ingredients in one of the things I bought in the Polish shop. I didn't see the way one of the ingredients was listed. And it was printed in English. I had read sunflower oil (which I am okay with), but when I checked the ingredient list again (when I could get off the toilet), further down the ingredient list (it was split into 3 sections. The 3rd section was apart from the other two, and in very small writing in brackets like this was the word (rape). My brain never registered that it was rapeseed oil when I was checking before I bought it. So I was ill all day yesterday. I had diarrhoea, stomach pains, stomach ache, hot flushes (they are meant to be a thing of the past now)and bad heartburn. This is every time I eat something with rapeseed oil in, and it is in pretty much everything now. I went to buy some sliced meat in Lidl last week, and it was listed in ham and beef sliced meat.
Oh, and I have powdered bone broth, I bought it awhile ago before I realised rapeseed oil was an issue for me. It didn't make me feel good when I used it, stomach ache and needing the toilet (still in date for another year). i checked the ingredients last night. Rapeseed oil was in the powdered bone broth.
I am losing weight over this. I can afford to lose some weight...
This morning I am off any food totally. There might be another side effect for me linked to the rapeseed oil. It might be the thing that is affecting my taste buds. Before I had that reaction yesterday to the rapeseed oil in that food, my grapes tasted delicious and sweet. I cannot eat the grapes now, they are far too sour. I am not sure what I will be able to eat today.
I will post this now and do my usual post in a few minutes.
back in a bit...
Thank you for your kind thoughts @Krystyna23040That is so horrible @gennepher. Hope you start feeling a lot better very soon. It is actually quite worrying for anyone with an allergy that lists of ingredients are often so hard to decipher

Ah it loaded!!!
Now I need a lie down...
Yes thanks @ianpspursHello everyone from a currently grey and misty start to the day here in Uncle Sam's outpost within the Exotic East of England. Good news from Nevada imho. @gennepher very gentle hug for the gastric issues. I assume you have carried out a lat flow test just in case? Thank you for persisting until you could share that autumnal creative. Keep up the fluid intake today. @dunelm wonderful fbg and art. I hope the balance of your memories, thoughts and emotions this Remembrance Sunday is positive. @Krystyna23040 enjoy Sheringham Park and any Bush tucker coffee or sausage rolls you may win in your trials. As I type, I am drinking my black tea. England have taken a wicket and shortly the oven which JKP set last night will begin cooking the goose. Thanks be to God for His mercies to me. Enjoy your own unique mercies and pleasures today. Same place tomorrow everyone?
