Yes, parcels from Royal Mail - Amazon decided they couldn't do the before 1pm delivery and handed them over the Royal Mail who collected them from the Yorkshire hub...Morning all from a dull and blustery location which the Good Lord clearly feels is best for me just now. I obviously just need to get with the program. Can't go over it etc. @JohnEGreen hug for both the pain and news yesterday. Thoughts and prayers with you and all who find hospital parking expensive, difficult and asking too much of their bodies. @gennepher thanks for the sheep creative and hopefully you'll enjoy cuppas from the flask? whilst keeping watch for that/those parcel(s). @dunelm thanks for sharing the start of another in this series of splendidly thought out and delivered structures. You spoil us sir. Our brood refer to those institutions as pre-school. Parents see them as a substantial investment and pathway into aspirational schools. @alf_Josiah quite the full agenda for today. No grandchildren and I was just getting into my stride again with nappy changing but I had forgotten just how much an 18 month old's system transits. Another excellent sleep score from fitbit after a carby - 19 gms - meal last evening. Could be a totally spurious link. A magical mystery tour in and out of Cambs and Suffolk yesterday due to this. Needed to use the Kia for best updated navigation so all the fun of the funfair. To my biased eyes that route has even worse roads especially those maintained by Suffolk. How hard can it be for Sainsbury's in Ely to stock pyjamas for a 3 year old girl amongst the 4 gazillion sqr feet of princess dresses and other dross? Why no Metanium either? Anyhow, super salmon salad day today so, yes @gennepher, my best kinda day allowing for absent grandchildren and the clown show running this country. How about you good folks?
Pre-Covid, I could ask for a porter (whatever the hospital, whether in England or Wales) to take me to the department in a wheelchair, because I couldn't do the walking needed, and between floor stuff. I am on my own. And the porter would say to reception wherever I got taken to, give me a ring when she needs collecting. And the porter would apologise in advance in case I had a bit of a wait when he returned. Now there is nothing like this, and I am totally on my own. One hospital I regularly attend, I either use my mobility scooter, but if it is pouring with rain as it often is, I cannot use it, so I have to allow an hour or an hour and a half for the in hospital walking needed to get to the department (this allows me to rest). And itis the same to get out of the hospital...Hi all legs still somewhat painful but no where near as bad as yesterday it was not so much car to hospital as long winding corridors and having to go between floors that triggered the episode.
As for the PF there are two medications they were considering pirfenidone and nintedanib but as I am on Edoxaban nintedanib is not suitable so they hope to start me on pirfenidone next week depending on my blood tests seems you have to plaster yourself in factor 50 sun blocker while taking them so no sun tan next summer.
Fbg this morning 6.8 not so bad.
Ortiz tinned fish - well posh.On the plus side their aspirational tuna is on point. Seems millenial's/gen z's idea of a big night in may be tinned fish so I thought I'd do some cultural appropriation. My instinct (ok, confirmation bias) is that was more responsible for the sleep score. Further experimentation is needed despite the sharp intake of breath from JKP. My starter for 10 is medical science research is expensive my dear. Bonus questions, if needed, will be on beauty products when she is clearly plenty gorgeous enough. If even that fails I may need to escalate matters - tie breaker - and reluctantlyenquire how much 4000 football pitches of shoes might cost. No risk no reward.
I believe the modern idiom is aspirational. Whatever the term used, the product tears bacon or sausages a new one as they say in certain quarters. Very left bank I believe. Must keep the flame alive or the Lannisters win.Ortiz tinned fish - well posh.
Yes covid has changed many things and not for the good used to be there where the odd chairs you could rest on but during covid they have been removed just huge long corridors with no respite I do have a mobility scooter but have difficulty getting it in and out of the car and this was the first time since covid that I had ventured out to an appointment so thought I would be OK Keiran has put me under strict instructions never to do such a thing again he will in future drive me. Melody suggested that I get a wheel chair so not to have to depend on the hospital.Pre-Covid, I could ask for a porter (whatever the hospital, whether in England or Wales) to take me to the department in a wheelchair, because I couldn't do the walking needed, and between floor stuff. I know exactly how you felt yesterday x
And take care today, your legs are still tired, and so your balance may not be good...take care.
Hug for that John and you @gennepher. Just to amplify the madness of access and accessibility to medical treatment now, the attached is from the Mychart App CUH use BUT this is for a telephone consultation on March 16th. In some way shape or form there must be a cost involved with this which by the law of small numbers/marginal gains could make a difference. There must be hundreds of similar examples but that doesn't mean 13 years of austerity, Brexit and ideological hatred aren't the elephants in the room.Yes covid has changed many things and not for the good used to be there where the odd chairs you could rest on but during covid they have been removed just huge long corridors with no respite I do have a mobility scooter but have difficulty getting it in and out of the car and this was the first time since covid that I had ventured out to an appointment so thought I would be OK Keiran has put me under strict instructions never to do such a thing again he will in future drive me. Keiran thinks I should get an all terrain scooter to replace the old one that would cost a bomb and not really solve the problem.
Though must say local hospital Kingsmill is pretty good they have the electric chariots manned by heroic volunteers.

I woke up in the early hours.
I fancied a cuppa tea.
So I made one, came back to bed and decided to finish a snail mail letter.
But as most of you know, I have a full length glass door besides my bed which opens straight out into my back garden.
I was aware of movement outside which looked like a badger (the black and white face colouring).
Then I realised a badger had its nose pressed against the glass watching me writing.
Then another badger pushed it out of the way and looked at me.
I returned to my letter writing...
Another movement outside. This time a fox...
And so this went on as I am finishing my letter.
This completely disconcerted me.
I feel like I am the prisoner in a glass cage being viewed by all and sundry.
And where was my cat Midnight?
He was not with me on my bed.
He was at the entrance gate selling tickets for viewings of his human...
Wildlife video...
A garden full of foxes and badgers...
Creative is more sheep.
A digital painting in Procreate...
Have you best day...however you can, especially when your cat has invited the entire wildlife world to come and view you...
Time for a cuppa...

Job...jobbed, as they say.Eventually, the bed was clear and I could get myself organised to get to bed. By that time, I was no longer sleepy but quite satisfied
my line of thinking too.really like the idea of all the stored glucose being flushed into my blood stream so I can use it up as I exercise.
