Cat & Fox Argue

Cat Midnight lashes out and Foxy Loxy argues back...

Midnight is really an affectionate cat...honest...
It is just foxes and one particular badger...

Creative is #39 Lighthouse...
Poor WooHoo...

Yesterday and I was watching Mr Blackbird out of my front room window. He has all the food he needs in that front garden. Ivy berries, and cherries beginning to form.
His Mrs is manning the nest in the evergreen tree in the front garden.
Mr Blackbird brings in a worm or two for his Mrs and the babies, then he comes out of the nest, and sits on a branch of the Ash tree. He then preens himself, cleans his wings thoroughly, and then he helps himself to a few of the berries in the front garden, and then, when he is fully rested, he flies into my back garden to get a few more worms for his family, and then he comes back, gives the worms to his wife, comes straight out the nest and starts preening himself again, and he has a lovely little rest and feed from those berries, and then flies to my back garden, where he gets some more worms, and of course he helps himself to a few cat biscuits from the swing first, watched by Midnight who is also on the swing, and so this went on all day yesterday.

The only bird that doesn't trust Midnight is Mr Magpie...he gets his cat biscuits from the bird table...

Those cat biscuits on the swing are coveted by all the animal kingdom...they are the stuff of myths and legends...

I didn't get much work done...

Icy cold today.

I need a nap.

Had my coffee & cream - I sprinkled ginger and cinnamon on the top...

Now a cuppa tea.

Have your best day....

That lighthouse is taking on a life of its own.

I have never had any luck with wisteria...

Looking forward to the colour on this @dunelm

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who identify as a Neanderthal.

A 5.4 on that meter this morning.

As explained last week today is the start of my 7 week. In the interests of being politically correct and not offending any of a snowflake nature, snowflakes remember you are unique and of a fractal nature. I digress you can have as many days in your week as you want or need.

Today please take pity on my music teacher. He set a lot of homework and guess who had an attempt at it all, badly would not describe how badly it has gone. I shall show no mercy and try to play with gusto while wearing ear plugs. Why should me, me’s and myself have to listen. Now I must depart and try to cram a few last minutes practice in, now was that note a C# or an Hb?

Stay safe all and if you are in the Reading area wear ear plugs.

2.30 am - no point trying to stay in bed. 9.8 on the meter. Barely got to the kitchen to take pain killers. Did make it though, so all's well.

9.10 - 10.8 on the meter. (That's after 3 cups of tea). Walking is still difficult, but I can sit down reasonably comfortably at this desk.

Alistair took away a box of discarded china yesterday. He'll take them to a charity shop on his next day off. That's something gone anyway. Lots more to go. Em is going to London tomorrow with her mum. They are going to "The War of the Worlds" as Em's Christmas treat - a bit late, but it was the first available opening. When she comes back she has promised to help me clearing a bit of space in the sitting (junk) room. Neil will have to get in there first to safely put away all the bits and pieces he has strewn around the place. There will be more to go to the charity shop at the end of this, but right now, I can't get to it.

Best of luck with the piano playing.

Good morning all from a fresh (euphemism for far too cold for me) start here in a now stood down L.A. Lawns cut and cuttings in brown bin for parade in the morning plus grandchildren delivered and collected from school, fed, taken to and from swimming, and library joined (by me) yesterday. So some kind of value added to my existence - well imho anyhow. @dunelm welcome to the soft shell experience, you'll probablv find other elements of late C20th, earleish C21st life helpful/ eye opening. Since you mention wisteria, probably totally the wrong demographic * Thanks for that tantalising beginning of the new art. @gennepher Midnight in that video reinforces all my memories of cats but I'm sure he is a pussycat as the saying goes. That latest lighthouse comes across as a Teddybear with a massively elongated trunk. @Annb hug for the pain and if at all possible do as Jackson says. Awesome link into our lady of the well at the end @Krystyna23040 good news on the lowering fbg and how caring of you to warm the village hall. I hadn't fully realised the close link twixt MLK and Harry B or how spiffing was the mid-range rum we finished last night - a sip two each. Enjoy/endure/seize/emerge unscathed from your day and have another try on the morrow. * I'm aware of the irony of the era of many of my musical choices thanks (hell, yeah those were the days in the image - eerie resemblance to a young JKP there)

I have never seen a cat like Midnight before, and certainly not in my childhood...

He is savage with that poor fox...but the fox should heed the warning, yet he comes back for more...

A elongated teddy bear?!?!
So I looked @ianpspurs
I now see a long length sock puppet on someone's arm...waiting ready...
Thanks for the song and words.

JKP just showed me this (I so far won't do facebook or similar) I was best man at his dad's - my cousin - wedding. His step mum also finished though she ran for heart foundation. Having been to Harrogate for a Christening, different cousin's grandchild. I have to say I found the town completely underwhelming. The church and venue for the shindig after (Masonic Lodge) were so, so. However, since the town has helped the young man retain and extend family values all is good.

Winner for that young man for both achievements.

Morning all from a grey skied, breezy+ L.A. I'm becoming bored of dressing like the Michelin Man so spring needs to hurry up and be sprung but I'm conscious of not wishing my life away. Today more of the pharmaceutical handbrake is applied so I'm taking the venerable veehickle across the fens. I'll gladly settle for several years of this and 10k steps but would dearly love to relocate to Cambs. Moses never made it to the promised land though and he hadn't upped and left. Meanwhile, best wishes for a gradual recovery Derek and y'all have the best time you can today but don't lie about it for the sake of followers. Some days are diamonds, (some days are stone).

Had a heart attack last Friday 1600 just returned home again, one artery completely blocked tell you more later
Derek
Blimey, pleased you survived and hope they can fix that blocked artery for you. My dad had a heart attack when we were in France last week. He was OK by morning and went shopping. At 93, he has made his decision not to have treatment nor go into hospital.

Hope today goes well, Ian.

Good morning everyone from what may or may not be a good bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. Fasting blood sugars came in at 5.4 this am, did some exercises and must shortly take some serious pain killers in preparation for a walk where there is a steep hill. I must let the council know about leveling up. Local elections coming up and already two visits from hopeful candidates ladened with all manner of posters, pamphlets and a bag of quotes and quips stolen from social media. I had to tell them that our postal votes were already in: “You [may] have power over your mind – [but] not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength” (Marcus Aurelius). Art bit, color added. Hope your day is kind to you and all the best to @lindisfel and @ianpspurs. Koffy, must make koffy.
