What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thanks for sharing another wonderful creative. Would some china eggs frustrate those badgers and possibly redirect them?

for some time I have been aware of sarcopenia. I never imagined I would regularly eat and enjoy peanut butter, salmon and avocado. Not usually together
Yes, ianpspurs - sarcopenia is very definitely something to be avoided at all costs.

In my classes I focus a lot on strength training with body weight as resistance exercises and eccentric strengthening exercises.
I was so happy when research started showing that we can still build muscle strength even in our 90s. If course this won't happen if we don't have enough protein.

When I started 25 years ago - age related muscle loss was seen as inevitable. Thank goodness it is now not the case.

My favourite food - salmon and avocado and of course peanut butter. Have not tried it with the salmon and avocado and not likely to anytime soon

Sad we lost but the girls did their best particularly in the second half and our keeper was brilliant.

The Spanish side should be given Oscars and a job at the Old Vic.

And the ref needs a trip to Barnard Castle.

That's the trouble with football it always made me too tolerant

One of my mantras over the time I have been around here. And the experience of testing, experimenting, recording, over a long time, got a diary from 2012 onwards of my results, and a lot of test strips.
We are individual, we all have different responses to what goes in or produced in reaction to how our brains and organs produce the hormones. How we cope, how to control and the most important what makes us have those symptoms.
A dietary regime designed by us, with a view to gaining control of keeping our blood glucose levels in or just above normal levels as much as possible. To prevent spikes that are above your tolerance levels!

I'm comfortable with an eating window between mid afternoon and early evening. I have gone beyond the inane labels for meal times. I eat when I'm ready to. Not because it is a certain specific label. Breakfast for me can be anytime. The list of labelled meals is endless and then snacks etc. It is not logical!

6.5 this morning and an early visit from the grandkids. So a bit of exercise running (walking really) after the little one, who is so active.
I'm in pain today, my neck feels sore, maybe I've tweaked it a little, and the spondylitis has flared up. Taking care with my movements now!

It was a beautiful but cloudy morning with not much wind, hoping it will be sunny later, but as I'm writing, the wind and darker clouds are amassing out to the west, a few raindrops in the last hour but it is still quite warm.

The new rails make a huge difference and particularly the stairs, using your left hand to support, if you are carrying in your right hand, as we are both right handed, is just so natural. And for me the first step down, has always been a bit unnerving, now with the rail, it's not!

Have a sensational sunday, enjoy your Sunday lunch, even if it is at 7pm!
Best wishes as always!

Don't you mean intolerant!
The Lionesses did us proud. No criticism on losing!
They tried but came up short, that is all you can ask!
Fantastic achievement!

Good to read that the rails are in and helpful. Hug for the spondylitis winner for time with the grandchildren.

Afraid it's already too late, because profit comes before everything!
Fishy Rishi is just a pawn in the scheme of things!

According to news reports, the new variant is causing a stir in the experts views. And the proposed vaccination for this winter, is already being looked at, because of a certain protein has evolved in the virus. Hopefully, we just don't need another epidemic, pandemic, flu or cold to go around. Mainly because we still have not learned the lessons of preparedness for another round. This was made clear, with the covid enquiry statement about how the government response was completely inept!

Since it is inevitable that much of the information about what, when and how any new vaccination programme will be run this is worrying. I've never used Ryanair so can't say if they are serial offenders as the author implies.

I do eccentric squats and press ups, quite slowly both down and up. Three lots of 10 most days, seven sets of squats if I feel dangerous and not all at once . My press ups are knee press ups returning to elbows touching knees in a back stretch.

Those rails sound just the ticket. I would be tempted to go up and down those steps a few times a day to keep my legs going - my whole house is a gym but Mrs Miggins thinks that using a wall to do standing press ups makes the walls greasy - I am not wearing gloves before you start.

I have just read, this afternoon, the chapter on fish in Tim Spector’s book Food For Life and not sure if I can bring myself to eat fish now. Certainly not salmon. Mrs Miggins says that the best salmon she ever had was when she was serving with US Forces. They caught salmon up near the Great Lakes and they were on the BBQ within half an hour. She has never eaten salmon again. Bit like me with steaks in UK restaurants after visiting The Entrecôte in Bordeaux

Nice exercise routine. Not suggesting you wear gloves but perhaps avoid the stickum now you don't play wide receiver.

No, I was just being myself saying the opposite.
