If you remember (maybe too young!) Rowan and Martin's laugh in. From U.S.t.v. There was a character whose line was.......That might have made it interesting....
What to make of this I wonder.
I think as Ann said its determined by your wife's state of health and it is not means tested. Is this part of the enquiry? Because I cannot find my WhatsApp messages!
Have tried everything, even the CAB did help. It is just nobody cares. Had this for a long time, been to court and won still couldn't get any benefits. It wasn't until I became a pensioner that she got P.I.P.
And P.I.P.is not counted when asking for benefits, grants etc. Any claim is always offset by my company pension. Losing employment before retirement, seriously emptied any savings and my bank account, which through harsh thrift and cutting out a lot of comfort buying, we are just about back to be able to afford a little bit more. It is enough without extravagance. No holiday, no big Christmas, certainly cannot afford a wet room. This is what Mrs L requires!
The lady from the council, was apologetic and sympathised. And would do as much to impress on the final outcome of the decision of how much we need it. I won't stop trying.
According to our new Home Secretary. Some places in our country are .....holes!
well he has overseen the wreck and ruin of our country, so he should know!
Everybody has an opinion. What to make of this I wonder.
Oh dear. Mind you, there are psychoactive components found in “magic mushrooms,” that may have therapeutic potential in these situations without the addictiveness and overdose risks found in other mind-altering drugs, such as cocaine, methamphetamines and alcohol. Reminds me, where is my mushroom knife?I've just spent an hour and 40 minutes "chatting" to the BT helpline to try to get my phone to work. (It's not that I can't afford the time, I just find it difficult to dig deep enough for the patience). It seems it won't work without an extra thing to convert the analogue to digital signal. The engineer said we wouldn't need that yet - only when we get fast fibre. Anyhow, they will send out the little box of tricks and I guess Neil will set it up. That will only work for the one phone though. However, if it works we can get another one for the 2nd phone. I am assuming the little extension hand held phone that connects to the main one, will work off its "mother-phone". I guess, if all else fails, I'll just have to give up on the landline and get a mobile. Have to find someone else to get it going for me though.
I think I need something stronger than tea to recover from this session. However, since I don't drink alcohol at all or coffee more than once in a blue moon, it will have to be a stronger than usual cup of tea.
Thanks @Annb - sister in law has very little movement down left side - just some movement in fingers and foot at present and her left eye is currently not functioning. So, no stair lift. Alterations are all on ground floor.Glad to hear Mrs M's sister is well enough to get home. I hope she wasn't too disabled by her stroke although, if alternations are needed to her house, there must be some measure of disability. Sorry about that. Promising group of rocks there.
Some folk will still need a doctor to check out their prostate no matter what sized heels they choose to wear. What to make of this I wonder.
But women laugh when the hormone therapy due prostate cancer gives one hot flushes! Some folk will still need a doctor to check out their prostate no matter what sized heels they choose to wear.
Cars are not even transgender neutral!Isn't AI transgender neutral?
No idea...didn't watch tv, no subtitles then...If you remember (maybe too young!) Rowan and Martin's laugh in. From U.S.t.v. There was a character whose line was.......
Interesting but stupid.
It just popped in this weird brain of mine!
When I was being treated for prostate cancer c.20 years ago we used to go to the church coffee morning during doing our shopping in local town. One lady of a certain age c.60 asked me how the therapy effected me.Some folk will still need a doctor to check out their prostate no matter what sized heels they choose to wear.
First part I understand. 2nd part probably funny Derek but who they? When I was being treated for prostate cancer c.20 years ago we used to go to the church coffee morning during doing our shopping in local town. One lady of a certain age c.60 asked me how the therapy effected me.
When I said it's basically chemical emasculation she didn't ask any more questions.

I must say I prefer Mr Spock's quote to Captain Kirk. Its life Jim, but not as we know it!
Hope the drip trip goes well today @ianpspursMorning all. Fbg was 4.5 at 7.05 today. . Should be very quiet hereabouts as planes are largely grounded and a large part of 12k people in the area are quietly feasting. Happy Thanksgiving..God bless and protect those who protect us - let's be clear about this taking control nonsense. I'm listening to Amazing Grace by Judy Collins as I type just to blend in and because it is sublime. Odd day yesterday in many ways. Venerable RR now has fully working suspension again and an MOT - all within my budget so I’m off for my drip trip in said veehickle. MIL sat in hairdressers with JKP until a nice young hairdresser politely asked if MIL had the right day. Back again today. Squirrels went to the fire station but sadly no Sam or Jupiter. Local Sainsburys car park heaving with large cars and in store men and women in fatigues surveying turkeys. I don’t like leg of lamb but I like a bargain so half price leg of lamb came home with us along with two mini Christmas trees for the front porch. No, I don't have a rocking chair on which I sit chewing tobacco and shooting at cans. There's fitting in and there's taking the whatsit. I will be watching plenty of NFL though. @dunelm thanks for sharing the wonderful art again. Many bins are put out here by twilight the night before probably because of the shift people work. Enjoy your day
Thanks. Actual process no problem but 3 hr delay as IT system down and all treatment needs patient data, bloods and prescription double verified and signed. I am in an outreach centre not CUH. Eventually agreed that use of secure NHS email to this practice then printout would be a medical and data protection friendly workaround. The medical centre staff can't access CUH systems. I/we all have all the required data on the CUH app onHope the drip trip goes well today @ianpspurs
