A chuckle for the creative mindset.A lot of teamwork speak getting bandied about, rocks and sand. If you add a cement mixture you can build your own team shed, have a tea meeting while watching spellbinding tv series and stroke a black cat or two. Having cake, discussing cakes with a vet, while the snow piles up outside.
It is miserable out there. Our new ice rink is now a large puddle, some magic going on there!
Grandkids have wrecked me, so tiring, had a go with a virtual game machine thingy. I fell over! My neck hurts now! Stupid old ******! Trying to be clever. Idiot!
Cricket on in the Windies, only aware cos it was mentioned on the footie last night.
Lots of dishes to do.
Christmas is postponed till better weather.
Or when Mrs L orders it!
Sadly my "Got done" list wouldn't be very impressive. My "To do" list, however, is pretty impressive, if a tad permanent.Hug for the balancing act
Great news on the speedy deliver of wheelchair. bargain too.
I think it might have been @muddycyclist. (Hope all is well with him )
Who said he didn't keep a "To do list "
He kept a "Got done list"
A much more satisfying list.
A thing from a work project, was to fill a jar with rocks & sand
That was the working day.
Some days it's the big rocks we move, other days it's the sand that fills our day.
Priorities, aren't always the big things.
All of its important in its own little way .
Patience & pace.
Hard to learn, but worth remembering, I think as we naturally slow.
Good luck getting it all to your liking, but all in good time, i say.
I have found that getting others to help with your to do list actually turns it into a 'Got done' list.Sadly my "Got done" list wouldn't be very impressive. My "To do" list, however, is pretty impressive, if a tad permanent.
Ah, if it were only so, @Lamont D. My to do list is largely duplicated in my son, Neil's list but his list is better known for its aspiration than its achievement too. Nobody puts pressure on Neil. He just doesn't accept it. If anything, pressure makes him even more determined NOT to do whatever is being demanded. I don't complain. Asperger's makes him what he is (generally helpful and clever) but his other health issues make him feel less than well most of the time and that brings out the procrastinative (is that a word? If not it should be) and stubborn face of his Asperger's.I have found that getting others to help with your to do list actually turns it into a 'Got done' list.
Without having to resort to do too much!
All you have to do is ask, or beg or order your man to do it.
Also, it's why we have relatives.
And no witchcraft used.
Except. That is, the spell a female puts on a male.
That is how my bay window got fixed!
Thats warfarin which is stopped working with vit k.Yes, you are right @lindisfel. It is very important to take K2 - unless you are on blood thinners.
Some athorities believe it should be over 50 to give full immunity and cause t cells to flourish which fight cancer.19.7 should be >30.
Congratulations on the promotion for daughter, director, huh.Good morning everyone on a tropical 5°C and drizzly start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Early up due to an early to bed last night after an exhausting day muttering about tinsel town. Still, Mrs Miggins has done an excellent job and only six strings of lights used - must be a record. I managed to do the front hallway without anything needing adjusting by the management. Earlier, we walked into town and back for a pre-decorating leg stretch, carefully avoiding eye contact with the festive jumper brigade. Daughter came round for a chat. She has been offered a directorship at the precision engineering company where she earns a crust and wanted to go over stuff like tax, pension contributions, alphabet shares, dividends and more importantly for me and Mrs Miggins, potential extra grandparent duties- so much excitement. This last bit may put the kibosh on our planned world scuba diving tour, base diving from the Troll Wall and running with the bulls in Pamplona. Art bit. First go with my new bamboo dip pen. Hope your day is kind to you. Lists - I only do shopping lists - I forget stuff otherwise and then end up like a dog spotting a squirrel when I see something that I previously did not know existed. Note: Mrs Miggins does not like Nduja, Pule Donkey Cheese and turned her nose up at whale burgers when we were in Norway last. Now, where is that civet cat assisted koffy?

Thank you for that information @lindisfel.Thats warfarin which is stopped working with vit k.
It doesnt happen with the novel anticoagulants like Dabigatran they work differently to the Vitamin k antagonist like Warfarin.
I found it bizarre I was eating too much broccoli when on warfarin.... it stopped it thinning my blood.
The novel anticoagulants work differently ..on different
clotting factors in the blood.

Statins are also artery calcifying. Thats how they are supposed to stabilise choresterol formation!Thank you for that information @lindisfel.
I do take K2 but I am now wondering if I shouldn't because I also eat too much broccoli. I couldn't cut down on the purple sprouting broccoli as it is my favourite vegetable.
Must do some research on that. I am taking K2 because I do eat calcium rich foods and take D3 and a doctor said that we must also take K2 to stop the calcium being deposited in the arteries instead of the bones.
Darker skins are "designed" to protect from the sun and, in these colder temperate climates, interferes with Vitamin D being produced as a result. Lighter coloured skin doesn't do such a good job of protecting from the sun's rays so Asiatic men tend to suffer less from Vit D deficiency. Many Asiatic women cover their bodies and never have the beneficial effect that they might otherwise enjoy.Black people and Muslim women are really low in vit D.
Even a lot of black staff died in hospital in the pandemic, so it wasn't social conditions.
My mum gave me cod liver oil and malt when I was young. It was palatable and good for me.

Hi Derek,Some athorities believe it should be over 50 to give full immunity and cause t cells to flourish which fight cancer.
(Its claimed now by some considerable authorities mrna vaccines damage tee cells)
Most of the population are so low in vit D now they set a limit they think they can achieve.
You must put total sun block on in summer?
It's one way of not getting a melanoma, not like I did.
Best wishes
Derek
We had similar as well as concentrated orange juice from the clinic. I think the malt was called Virol.Black people and Muslim women are really low in vit D.
