That looks a bit like the weather outside my front window @dunelmGood morning everyone on a lacklustre but good to be alive start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.5 this am. Mega Bloks - like Lego but huge so easy to avoid stepping on and experiencing more pain than William Wallace experienced at Smithfield. So, we are building tower blocks and mega-cities and film sets from the likes of Blade Runner - Girl In The Bubble has it that the best place for a garage is on the roof or at least 2/3 of the way up -it’s all in the view daaahlings! Why is it that some pill packs have day’s written on and some don’t? And why do you start a new one, not with the first in line (no not William, Sunday) but at the appropriate day, down the middle somewhere - no Janet, just no! (Janet is the pharmacist and responsible for all dispensary nightmares). Out to tea tonight with two of the grandchildren - what a hoot! Mrs Miggins is up and about looking for something called a day dress and something to fascinate for wearing at buck house in May - sigh! Art bit - a mix of colours and a pallet knife. Hope your day has some good bits in it. I shall take courage and make another koffy.

Well that seems to work well for you. Any sightings of the eclipse?Morning 4.44 for Tuesday morning. Finally, nice and sunny weather, active and my FBG is stable w/o meds!
Last 3 months I was eating salmon (farm raised)for lunch and dinner. Only salmon, no chicken and no red meat. My PCP suggested eating oily fish is good for BG and Cholesterol. I have to go to supermarkets where salmon is on sale and then stock up. After buying a lot on sale, the first few days I will make fresh and the rest I freeze and keep on using. My FBG and A1c are in the non diabetic range.
My Cholesterol = Total 145, LDL 79, TG 47 HDL 53. I think my experiment went well. Now I am eating 50% salmon and 50% chicken breast meat and still no red meat. Have a nice day everyone.
Thank you @gennepher - raining here - is it still called precipitation when it travels upwards from roads and pavements? That looks a bit like the weather outside my front window @dunelm
I like the colours...
BG down, BP up. Ah well - new pills to collect and take and have more veg because too much protein may be damaging my kidneys. Amazing how, these days, doctors can diagnose anything over the phone when you think back in the old times doctors even had to visit patients before they knew what was wrong with them, and even then, sometimes they didn't notice what was in front of them.Good afternoon one and all. A windy and wet day here and by the sounds of it in many parts of the uk. @dunelm thank you far sharing your art. @gennepher thank you for the very funny cartoon. @Omar51 your regime seems to be working really well. @Annb hug for the disruption and altered readings - bg, bp or both? It would seem that spring has not yet spring in the uk but nonetheless do try to enjoy your Tuesday.
when my hall floor was redone.Unfortunately, my BG doesn't do that. The monitor sticks to its guns.
Our builders are very good in that they aren't making as much mess as yours did - even to the extent of laying a kind of heavy duty cling film on the floor to protect it. But they say they will take 2 weeks. The bungalow isn't small but I'm surprised at the time they expect to take.
Hilarious, Mary!Fbg 6.7
I had intended going out this morning, but the paddling pool round my bungalow, the high winds, and the deluges of rain put paid to that...
Wellies on, and I did go out and feed Jade, and put peanuts on the bird table for the magpie...I was lucky to get back in unscathed.
Hence the creative this morning...
Wildlife nighttime video
Put a fat black cat on the swing, and the foxes and badgers just don't visit...
26 secs
Time for a cuppa
Have your best kind of day

If I take a second BP reading shortly after the first higher reading it has returned to my normal @Annb
If someone else does it, the same applies. It is high on first reading, then is normal on second reading...
Stress is playing a part in this,
I think the builders ought to warn you more what to expect. I had no warning that 10+ men who spoke no English were descending on my tiny bungalow for the day, with more equipment than there was floor space for, and one of them wanted a space for his prayer mat...
