Probably that place that Borat comes from6.9 and not surprised as it was form filling day, for me, spent all morning obsessing about it.
Then, it was the actual answering questions to the man.
Afterwards, I asked the question.
Mrs L will still get P.I.P?
Should not be a problem, he said with a positive shrug!
That is so reassuring!
Mrs L sends her thanks for the wishes, a little bruise, (another) on her upper leg, on the muscle. And Mrs L is not moaning, so I believe it is ok, and will keep an eye on it.
Question on a quiz, which is the largest landlocked country?
One said, either Russia or China.
The other said Russia!
I couldn't believe my ears.
Landlocked I shouted at the telly. Which earned a rebuke from Mrs L.
Answer will be later........
Picked up some fillets for evening meal.
Today, was one of warmth and cloud, odd bits of sun, and not much done in garden. But it can wait.
Not much more to report.
Best wishes everyone.
you are not wrong.Probably that place that Borat comes from
This is brilliant news mate.Had a call from the GP today seems the colonoscopy found no sign of bowel cancer so immensely relieved she did however have concerns over resent blood test showing bit of a problem with liver function some times you just can’t win.
Yes, I dodged the bullet also as I had a blood transfusion in 1973. I agree that it is quite unnerving a thing to contemplate. With the post office enquiry the Helen Rose report is constantly mentioned well she was the person who interviewed Keiran and gave him his job in the post office he says she is a very nice person and he was surprised when she abruptly left the post office.
When I think back to the 70s and the 80s both Judith and myself had blood transfusions in those times and am thinking how both may have dodged the bullet it’s quite unnerving a thing to contemplate.
Afraid, I'm way behind with posting again @Krystyna23040.Yes, it is the Absolute Black 100%. Back in 2016 I switched to 70% which was really hard to do as I loved milk chocolate. After a while it started tasting too sweet so switched to 85% but the same thing happened so I switched to 90% but then a class member gave me the Montazumas 100% as a Christmas present and I absolutely loved the rich and intense taste and from that moment on I felt same as you - no other chocolate would do.
I do love the way the buttons slowly melt in your mouth.
Completely agree @dunelm.Private companies have a duty to make profits - water should not be in the control of private companies - don’t hold your breath when it comes to seeing improvements - Ofwat is a bit like the UN peacekeeping force - utterly without teeth. Wonder if I can get a job with Ofwat? Will I need to be on the board of directors of a water company?
A good win for you. One day at a time.Had a call from the GP today seems the colonoscopy found no sign of bowel cancer so immensely relieved she did however have concerns over resent blood test showing bit of a problem with liver function some times you just can’t win.
Its a long time since i had a young fit and active cat. Even then we were living in a town so not so much available or varied prey. There it was mostly sparrows and starlings. Don't remember any being caught.Kiki doing what cats do, sadly.
Good luck keeping the chicks safe.
Nice pics btw.
Did you resize them ?
Sounds awful. Sending you hugs and sympathy, for morale, if nothing else. Thanks Ian! At the moment I am camped in a thread looking at the unholy combo of diabetes and colitis and options around that... just ugh!
Am assuming this is a predictive text misinterpretation.Yes I find using my phone difficult especially when the predictive text takes over and you are restricted with the likes.
It’s enjoying when someone messes with your rig and is not as competent as they think.
More common to break a wrist putting hand down when falling, as Mum did some years ago. We all got the lecture - and some years later when ducking under a barrier my foot turned on loose stones. Down I went. "Don't put hands down" echoing through my head - then " I'm going down on my face! Flung both arms up to form a landing pad for face. Some scrapes to hands, arms and knees, but thankfully no worse damage. As Ian said, hope Mrs L didn’t hurt her hand or arm or shoulder - bones don’t like surprises as you age. Shop order - hilarious.
Or ironic?Am assuming this is a predictive text misinterpretation.
Best wishes to your pal. My father lived with Limphoma for about fifteen years. Enduring two rounds of chemo during that time. It was pneumonia that carried him away two months short of 92.Thank you @ianpspurs. Walk done, cash raised and my pal will find out tomorrow if he can come off his chemo or if it has to continue.
