Great tree Art bit...Good morning everyone on a beautiful quiet and sunny start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this a.m. and have been sitting in the sunshine basking in the sun like a reptile on a warm rock but slurping tea. Brunch out yesterday - and then it rained. Not quite as wet as Eric Morecambe in that Singing In The Rain sketch. Art bit - tree. Hope you have a splendid day and as it’s furthers day, what will you be further away from? Time for some koffy.
Actually the day did improve and I took Poppy for a lovely long walk along the paths that wind through our village. I have managed also to do a lot of relaxing and reading and drinking rather too much coffee and a lovely long chat with daughter in Toronto and daughter in Surrey.Good afternoon DCUK posse. I am currently mostly lurking just to check you are all behaving. I must say. @dunelm and @gennepher thank you for sharing your wonderful art/creative. @Krystyna23040 enjoy a relaxing day and thank you. Enjoy soggy/blustery/football Sunday.
We used to get Tory door-knockers in this Conservative stronghold.I have already had the independent candidates through the letterbox...well their leaflets of fairy stories @JohnEGreen my gates are locked so they cannot get at my doorbell...
Rosa rugosa? That's the species with large, showy red hips isn't it? @AnnbLovely rose, lovely picture. One of my rosa rugosas has a rather battered flower on it. The rest haven't bothered at all so far. Long shoots looking for a home but I think they've decided not to bother with flowers this year. They're usually covered in flowers in the summer.
That's right @Krystyna23040, @gennepher and @JohnEGreen.The nurse said that this is a new vaccine and needs two doses as it is an inactive vaccine. The previous one was an active vaccine and you only needed the one dose. Hope your surgery sort out which one you were given.

Hope you got sun all day @dunelm
Great lonely tree @dunelmGood morning everyone from yet another damp squib start to the long weekend here in the dark and dangerous north. We like the long weekends (Mon-Fri) - children at school, people at work or nicking stuff so less crowded when playing at being a tourist. A warm, if blustery day in Whitby yesterday and less people about than we anticipated. Lunch in a cafe called Jet Black Jewel. Mrs Miggins is out today with her sister and a couple of their pals so it will be a mainly unsupervised day. Art bit - a forlorn tree. Hope your day is a bit warmer than it is here at present - brrrh! Best make some koffy and hold the mug with both hands.
