Fascinating. It reminded me of a fractal. I wondered if you could use a picture to produce a Mandelbrot set and it seems that you can by using This.

Good morning everyone on an all things bright and beautiful start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this a.m. and already we have had a leaflet; shoved through the letter box at just after 0700. I crouched behind the door and shouted, “me mam says that there’s no one in” - like you would for the rent man. We sent in our postal votes over a week ago - such a waste of paper. The biggest excitement today will be the star spangled banner bin cavalcade. I am hoping to spot a sousaphone as they parade by in a wee while. I simply refuse to let the day be spoiled by hour after hour of nothing much happening right now news and as Mrs Miggins returned safely from Spain last night (asking for a bacon sandwich and a mug of tea as she drew a bath), we shall go out for the day. Art bit - another brick in the wall so to speak. Hope your day is called Thursday, instead writing out a boring and imposing To Do list - we are having a Get To list so we can add things we get to do during the day. But first, some of that smashing koffy.

No further calls from Immobilier, but feeling under pressure to get everywhere, inside and out clean and tidy.
Rain stopped play outside, but by then it was 21.30h, so not starting again inside. Picked raspberries and blackcurrants as well as a small (very small) amount of grosseilles. These are a hybrid between blackcurrant and gooseberry. Fortunately the bushes are not thorny. The plants have certainly got hybrid vigour, now three times their size this spring.
Harvested some courgettes. Planted seven of them, anticipating high demand from Kiki, but the brand of foid we have been buying is now newly "improved" pretty packaging, but more sauce, less meaty chunks and one hungry cat. Abandoned the courgettes for her. She has lost weight despite extra croquettes being added to each meal.
So now super abundance of courgettes for us. Hmm... and MrSlim is already saying they are not his favourite vegetable. Its likely that a gratis box will be appearing by the gate soon.
Meanwhile Kiki is supplementing her meals with voles, leaving the grisly remains just outside the kitchen door.

Yes I know what you mean back in the 1980’s I remember having a conversation with David Owen now Lord Owen in which I I said ecology and the environment was going to be an important subject his reply was sorry John it’s economy before ecology and that still is the mindset we have to deal with.

Good morning all from a sunny L.A. where it is July 4th with all the historical ramifications from 1776 and today - a day early for 1945 but could even eclipse that. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art and enjoy the day. Having read the final draft of #1 son's Msc thesis on supply chain sustainability I know more than I need about the issue or is good for my peace of mind. I'm with the woke even more now. @JohnEGreen the implications for SMEs from Scope 3 reporting are staggering and they are neither seeing it nor preparing well. The silence during this campaign is gross negligence. Anyhow, enjoy Thursday. I'm having more tea, trying to stop multi layered dressings roaming around my body doing more damage and looking forward to the fireworks later.

You know I fancy myself as a bit of a historian for no known reason which means I am conditioned to see nuance and shades of grey. The attached comes from here. Set out in that way it looks like the plot of a completely unbelievable dystopian film - the kind I abhor. Most of us have been here throughout this time so I salute you all for just stoically continuing to refuse to give up.
