There isn't a blue MP within if not more than 50 miles of my constituency, not one at all in my metropolitan county. All red.
No blue in Wales, only two pliad cymru.
The more interesting info, is who came second?
Well it was greens here, but in others, ref...! were next, to overwhelming majoritys of red.
The blues were blown away in a lot places.
And in my opinion rightly so!
Let us hope and pray (Behave you lot) that our new PM can get things moving quickly and make a difference.

Spent most of the morning in the sunshine, in the front garden one of the bushes needed a trim, grass got cut, and weeding done.
Just a thought, no rain, no cold wind, lovely sunshine, a nice summer's day. Pleasantly warm.

Had a sneezing fit, it hurt my neck, but with the work I had done.
And my hand has been locking my fingers and thumb, after holding a tool.
Mrs L is behaving by having a long nap from mid morning till about a couple of hours ago.
Unfortunately, as you lot will be aware, as soon as my back is turned, that is when the little things happen and of course, believing that Mrs L is not in her sixties, her ability on her own, is not as good as it was many years ago.
No advice from anyone sinks in. No assistance necessary to be mobile, until it does.
Just a final utterance, whilst in early hours seeing the first results come in, Mrs L, stated that her Nan would be disgusted with the results.
Of course, her Nan always voted blue.
For that moment, Mrs L was back to when her Nan was alive.
And, you could see in her demeanour, that she was back as she looked at me.
She does seem to be passing into her past, to refrain from thinking of her grief. That refuses to budge.

It could be me that!Couple of very busy days.
MrSlim has been tidying the woodshed, this involves rounding up all the odd pie as lying about or stacked in the barn, all the pieces of possible construction timber that now are definitely not be used and applying a chainsaw, chopsaw or axe to bring them down to appropriate size for the woodburner. Then we stacked the lot tidily ready for use.
I think it's July, second half of the year: "Winter is coming" syndrome.
Meanwhile I have been frantically weeding and tidying the garden. It's got a bit (lot) out of control in places and with the possibility of viewers arriving at short notice I feel it's neccessary to get it all tidy. Once done should be easier to keep it that way. So tomorrow the plan is tidy up the fruit bed.
Basic daily care currently takes up to two hours, with the June Drop adding to the tasks. Still every baby apple that falls now is a mature fruit I won't be picking up later in the year.
Then onto the house. Cleaning, sorting all the cupboards. Getting rid of extraneous, surplus stuff. Masses to do...
Yet MrSlim tell a me he has finished his jobs list and wants to go on holiday...next week. argh!

The Badger/s wreaked havoc in the night. And for the first time have opened the defences to my second wormery, and devoured Ermintrude, Henrietta, Susan, and Harry&Megan, and more - just worms to you....
So, need to create new defences, and tidy up the mess...
I received a fig tree, edible honeysuckle bush, and another tree with edible fruits for my birthday, but my first task is how to make this Badger proof. The Badger has already eaten all the edible fruit/berries off my fuschia tree, and if he can't reach the higher up ones, he breaks the branches until the fuschia tree is a fraction of its former height...

Creative...a kaleidoscope in Laboscope App...this is of a heavy cast iron metal bug which was bought by J to be a door stop for me. After stubbing my toe and crushing my toe nail for the umpteenth time, it ended up in the garden where the Badgers turn it over daily for live bugs and worms...

Have a great day @dunelmGood morning everyone on a deliciously quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 6.1 this a.m. possibly because I got back into bed at 5am and slept another 2 hours - I shall take that speculation and run with it. Another day where a bunch of millionaires run around on expensively manicured grass pretending that childbirth is nothing compared to the pain and distress of another prancing pony very nearly touching them while has been pundits waffle on about what might have or could have or should have happened and couch potato experts share not so witty insults on farce bok. I shall probably choose enthralling re-runs of Crossroads or be utterly mesmerised by a B&W Barry Bucknall glossing a panelled door in the correct order. Art bit - some doodle carried out over a few train journeys, letting the movement of the train help. Have a smashing day if you decide to. I shall make koffy and get ready for a walk down through the woods for yet another koffy on the lower prom. Mrs Miggins may well have a bacon butty.
I do think that in many places there was tactical voting - anything to get rid of the toxic government that has been in place. The past few years have hardened the opinion of many Scots against any right wing movements. Not that there was much right wing sentiment here anyway. Of course, the recent troubles suffered by the SNP haven't improved people's opinion of those in government either. It was always going to be a poor performance for them in this election. Something will have to be pulled out of the bag if the next Scottish election is to go to SNP.Don't you think that what has done for the SNP is the financial situation of the previous leader(s)?
And most Scots realising that under current Westminster thinking, another referendum is now further away?
And if the blues and ref... Idiots were not splitting the right vote, Sir Keir would have needed the extra Scottish seats to get anywhere near a victory?
I do think that if Labour don't get closer to the EU, then a resurgence may take place.

A day for me to analyse how best to integrate what I think I learned from yesterday's face to face with my oncologist - quite positive actually. Currently drinking tea and watching rugby with football later. #3 son and grandchildren coming later.
