Hug for the lack of breath last night. Thank you for sharing the kaleidoscope and on behalf of the cats for giving them soft, cuddly toys to keep warm. I hope today is very low key and restful for you.Fbg 7.1
Plenty of rain, a thunderstorm or two, but still very hot.
Couldn't breathe last night.
Had fans and humidifiers/misters going all night in my bedroom.
The air was thick, like drowning in warm unbreathable air.
Had the window wide open.
Finally went outside at 1am, but the air was unbreathable outside as well. It was too warm, too thick to breathe
Came back in. Made some more ice cubes to put in the humidifiers...
Not one bit of sleep last night...
Nighttime wildlife videos.

A quiet day today I think.
Time for a cuppa...

Good news on the retail therapy cum Joe Wicks day. Thank you for sharing the art and Galeon - stately as she glides? Could Sunday see the modern version of Drake vs the Armarda/our wonder boy vs their wonder boy since that's how we roll now. Enjoy your dayGood morning everyone on a damp squib of a start here in the dark and dangerous north. Rain stopped play yesterday but we managed to get all our steps in with the wet weather programme; Wandering round a big B&M where Mrs Miggins bought canes in the gardening department and then taking in the delights of the isle of mystery in Aldi. The replica Spanish galleon The Galeón Andalucía arrived in Whitby on Monday evening and we plan to go and visit this floating museum on Tuesday, mind your heads (two interpretations). Art bit - on with trees. Hope your day is a good one - we shall be having a wander through the wet woods - welly boots in July? Must be time for some koffy.

Thank you @ianpspurs. There is a replica of the Barque Endeavour in Whitby so perhaps they could jolly off on holiday to Tahiti and search for the transit of Venus. Or better still - fire cannons at each other loaded with giant paintballs.Good news on the retail therapy cum Joe Wicks day. Thank you for sharing the art and Galeon - stately as she glides? Thank you @gennepher. We are looking forward to having a look round that galleon - hope it doesn’t rainThe Galeǒn Andalucia looks interesting.

What a philosophical way to look at the last 60 years. Enjoy the tea and I sincerely hope the memories are overwhelmingly happy even if there is some understandable sadness. Thoughts and prayers with you tomorrow.6.6 at 05.30 today - slept in making up for barely any sleep the night before.
Yesterday was bright, sunny and - wait for it - actually warm enough to go outside without a jacket. Today is intermittently bright but a lot of grey clouds and wind - trees out side my window battering each other and birds hunkering down. Just saw a crow struggling to fly around, but don't think the smaller ones will even try.
A day to stay indoors with a cup of tea and ponder on the way life works out. Tomorrow would be 60 years since I married Tom - the number, of course, is pretty meaningless since he's not here to share the day but, had I not had my first boyfriend (who dumped me after a year), I would not have met his parents, they would not have introduced me to their friend from Scotland and I would never have married him, never have moved to Scotland, or the Island on which we live. Never have had my 2 sons, Alistair would never have met his wife and Em would never have been born. All because my ex boyfriend's parents were trying to ease my sorrow over breaking up with their son. There's a bigger plan being played out somewhere that the 17 year old me was not even remotely aware of.
Aparently, there is an anomaly on the West coast of Africa, in the Atlantic, that they have no model for.Persistent rain all day here in London. No tennis was played on the outside courts at Wimbledon. There's now a serious backlog of matches due rain delays.
The reason we're getting a soaking, yet again, is mostly the jet stream. Apparently, we're saddled with troughs over Greenland forming a succession of low pressure systems that track slowly over the UK.
Higher pressure than normal over north-east Europe (might have known the Russians had a hand in it) has slowed the progress of these rain-bearing low pressure systems which tend to stagnate over the UK for a few days bringing still more wet weather.
On top of that, sea surface temperatures in the Atlantic are at record levels thanks to climate change, which means low pressure systems have more energy, resulting in higher rainfall and thunderstorms.

I'm sorry that I have to reply. Also Maintaining Healthy Blood Glucose Levels is hell of a thing, Here's how you can maintain Healthy Blood Glucose Levels
Maintaining Healthy Blood Glucose Levels
- Balanced Diet: I follow a balanced diet rich in whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Avoiding high-sugar and high-fat foods helps me maintain stable blood sugar levels.
- Regular Exercise: Physical activity is crucial. I aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week. This helps improve insulin sensitivity and keeps my blood glucose in check.
- Medication Adherence: If prescribed, I take my medications or insulin as directed by my healthcare provider. Never skipping doses and taking them at the same time every day ensures consistent blood sugar control.
- Stress Management: Stress can affect blood sugar levels, so I practice relaxation techniques such as yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises.
- Regular Check-ups: I have regular appointments with my healthcare provider to monitor my overall health and make any necessary adjustments to my management plan.
