I put a hug - for the varifocals and the disappointing cartoon white which I would be minded to return for a replacement. The painting however is a different pot of worms entirely. Smashing tones of ink and the way they let into the white at the cliff bottom and of course the plants. The blue/green is a nice touch little fellow.Fbg 6.8
Been wasting my time on my Creative. Was trying out a new white paint, cartoonists white by Kuratake, on my painting. I was sorry I did. I wrecked it. It would have been much better with just using the white paintbrush from Kuratake.
And considering it was Cartoonist's white it photographed a sort of yellowish.
Not fit for purpose. If you can see in the tub it has partly solidified. It is meant to be ink to dip an ink pen in...not a hope. It is very plasticky which I had not expected. The reviews were raving positively about this product, but I think I have an old little tub. The tub was very small. And it was only half full. Dried out? Not worth the money. What will it be good for? Snow? That means I'll have to do some Xmas cards this year...
So I have wasted my time with this...
I should have been tidying some stuff up.
I'll have a cup of tea, or coffee? Which?
Or I'll go to sleep and have a quick nap...and start the day again...
Wildlife video nighttime
All the animals and cats walking around, not in the least bit fazed by each other, not what we are told to expect from these animals. They get on better than humans I think...
Badgers & Foxes & Cats wandering around during one night...

Have a better day than I have so far...
I'll turn my day around when I wake up after my nap. Oh, and I broke my varifocals this morning. It was that large black cat's fault. He knocked everything on my bedside cabinet on to the bed in the night. I thought I had carefully rescued everything, but I forgot to look for my glasses. My hand went on them...they were under the edge of the blanket...I felt a crunch...
A sleep always makes everything better...

Similar day here - cooler, but I did leave the doors to the garden open. A chill out day although I have cleaned the oven and hung out three loads of washing that were resolute in their refusal to completely dry and are now consigned to the disgrace of the clothes horse.6.9 this soggy sundae.
It has been raining since last evening, the temperature is mid teens and Mrs L is freezing.
Of course, Mrs L isnt, but it is nippy.
A much quieter day.
Just chillaxing.
And using the oven for roasting a chicken. I can have a side salad, Mrs L a few veg, whatevs kidda.
Might get bored a bit later and do a curry for tomorrow or Tuesday.
Have a great Sunday.
My best wishes to you lot as always.

Hug for the glasses and disappointment on the white paint. I can't comment as @dunelm did on the technicalityFbg 6.8

but to me it looks like the work of a skilled artist. Thank you for sharing and from my point of view definitely not time wasted. Anyhow, surely from your own point of view time engaged in creativity is never wasted it is just that the end product isn't as you saw it in your mind?Smashing tones of ink and the way they let into the white at the cliff bottom and of course the plants. The blue/green is a nice touch little fellow.
I don't feel a skilled artist @ianpspurs but I was reflecting this afternoon on my parents that brought me up saying I was no good, useless, even at art etc etc, and that is still with me. BUT my reflections this afternoon made me realise that I have never actually said to anyone that I can't do that not even as a child, there may have been obstacles in my way, but I have always assessed a situation, that I was often told I couldn't do that, and found a way round it, much to my parents (who brought me up) annoyance. Can't to me is not a negative word. I don't take it on board as a negative word, but as a challenge to show you I can..........but to me it looks like the work of a skilled artist. I totally agree that shellfish are absolutely yuk.I have given agree, however that is for the orcs etc.
As a youngster, who read a lot, cos of obv limitation of cash flow mainly. My mind got lost in adventure stories, sci fi and war fiction..... So it was Tolkien, which really tried my patients, cos of the writing and lay out of the overall storyline...... The same with Dune....... I persevered, and discovered a universe... More expansive than my trekkie stuff..... But to someone like me, who never got the imaginative way of layer story telling. One story within and along another, it at times, could be very annoying........ I wished sometimes, that they could write in Scouse.... It would be much more interesting, enjoyable and of course funnier. When did you hear an orc tell a joke? When did a Harkonnen offer a big of levity? Too much spice?????
How can you kill an orc, when they are dead already? Where did the huge ones live?
I digress.
I enjoy my white fish. No Tilapi here, never heard of it.
I don't enjoy the salmon, tuna, oily fish. Yuk!
Weirdness showing itself again, no shellfish here matey!
I think you need the instruction of @alf_Josiah Mrs J, in how to dress your clothing line.Similar day here - cooler, but I did leave the doors to the garden open. Bananas though have both carbs and sugars.fruit is different in how the glucose is derived.
And even with my RH, pieces of fruit throughout my window, doesn't effect my BG levels.
I would even admit, that about a third of my dietary intake is fruit.
but finding out if it does is important.
I know how that feels when your parents can't see your skills o or you as an artisan.I don't feel a skilled artist @ianpspurs but I was reflecting this afternoon on my parents that brought me up saying I was no good, useless, even at art etc etc, and that is still with me. I agree with your last sentence that 'it is just that the end product isn't as you saw it in your own mind'.
I know I've said that numerous times.
I never (very rarely) like a painting when I have immediately finished it. It is always a few hours or days later when I start to think...maybe that isn't so bad after all...
Thank you Ian for your compliments. I appreciate them...
Not being too sciency, fructose is converted through the liver, so it is much slower to push glucose levels up.Bananas though have both carbs and sugars.
Once again. a brilliant piece of art. Is that Gandolf?Fbg 6.8

My favourite fish is sea bass @Krystyna23040, baked whole, belly stuffed with garlic, sprigs of tarragon or other herbs in season and drizzled with olive oil. I enjoy salmon, especially Alaskan sockeye, and tuna as well. All three have very different flavours and textures. I like prawns, brown shrimps, crevettes and scallops too.Salmon is definitely the best fish, but I actually do like Sea Bream as well.
I also love sea bass baked whole and sea bream. I think that they are more tender and moist when baked whole. My favourite fish is sea bass @Krystyna23040, baked whole, belly stuffed with garlic, sprigs of tarragon or other herbs in season and drizzled with olive oil. Once upon various times I've eaten tilapia, but cannot recall much about the flavour. Obviously it can't have made much of an impression.
Sunday's FBG 4.6 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.
I have oft wondered about what Caution Horses are and why they need their own transportation.I think you need the instruction of @alf_Josiah Mrs J, in how to dress your clothing line.
Horses are never easy to clothe with track suits or fatigues. Never mind pjs!
