Wow, I am liking this autumnal art bit @dunelmGood morning everyone on an overcast start to what bodes to be a sunny day here in the dark and dangerous north. 4.8 this a.m. to the chirping of Cilla, “surprise, surprise”. Veterans Breakfast Club this morning and at the same time, Farmers Market and the added bonus of the Saltburn Folk Festival. Lots of things to avoid and some things to cheer and clap. At least four ukulele bands - I’m visualizing All In, MMA Ukulele It’s a Knockout where the losing team gets dunked into the sea and the referees (Paul Shane and Ruth Madoc) are wearing their yellow blazers from that old TV series, Hi-di-hi! Art bit - a storm in a teacup. Best get a move on, we need to leave the house at 0845 to walk into town and I have to dig out my ankle bells and morris sticks. Hope your day goes well, I need to take some pills and drink koffy.
Thank you @gennepher - it was the blockbuster video card with blobs of paint scraped onto a part wet sheet of watercolour paper and a spattering of ink.Wow, I am liking this autumnal art bit @dunelm
So different....
Thank you for sharing the latest art @dunelm. Enjoy the Veterans Breakfast Club, Farmers Market and Saltburn Folk Festival including Ukele bands. Loving the All in MMA and Hi-Di-Hi references although I’d have stern words with that Chimp on the shoulder for those zoonotic influences. @LivingLightly @JohnEGreen @Annb and anyone I forgot thank you all for the good wishes yesterday. O2 level 100% and resting HR back in 60s and that's after only one scoop of Zoe30+ - must be good stuffGood morning everyone on an overcast start to what bodes to be a sunny day here in the dark and dangerous north. 4.8 this a.m. to the chirping of Cilla, “surprise, surprise”. Like for all the joy your family are bringing to you but a hug for Mr Slim and the pain from his ribs. Pain like that leads to exhaustion, so no wonder he feels a bit down about it all. Happy first birthday to the baby next week.Recent FBG

The girls are delightful. So grown up now at 12 and nearly 14 (birthday end of the month)
The baby an absolute star, smiley and almost walking.
The little boy is fun, full of energy. Constant demands of "play with me" but so loud! Mum says he has no volume control.
Day out at local market and park much enjoyed by all who attended. MrSlim is still in considerable pain from his ribs. Exacerbated by spending two mornings mechanicing the mower, taking off the deck to fit a new drive belt and then jolting himself about on it for a couple of hours once it was fixed.
He says he is getting depressed at his slow recovery. It's been less than two weeks since he fell! Playing Molkkï with the children exhausts him. Anything more strenuous is out of the question.
I don't think watching all those super fit athletes at the Olympics is helping.
The horde departed late morning. Camping trip with cousins.
For about an hour it was peaceful, then it was too quiet. They will be returning here on the 13th. Just in time to celebrate a first birthday.
This cards are very useful @dunelmThank you @gennepher - it was the blockbuster video card with blobs of paint scraped onto a part wet sheet of watercolour paper and a spattering of ink.
Thank you for sharing the creative which I'm taking as a landscape with a waterfall and possibly two humans on the left. Taking me a while to make anything of the right hand side but definitely a podium finish for you. Hope you stay dry doing the odds and ends.Fbg 6.5

Talking of Morris men you remind me of Muddy Cyclist who was into traditional dancing and music.Good Morening Ladies and Gentleman and those who quietly had their own private riot in the safety of their own home. It’s all well to embrace different cultures, but we have our own cultures which should be acknowledged. For example Morris dancing!
Blood sugars this morning were a late evening snack induced 8.8 hey ho.
Today is a new day and new tasks, but Mrs J has other ideas. If I had any sense I would hide in my shed / workshop wearing earplugs.
Have a great Saturday all, remember it is still a wonderful world with plenty to smile at.
