What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Not exactly my day today.
Trying to repair a broken washing line.
In doing so I discovered a plague of cabbage white caterpillars demolishing what was left of my tree kale and cabbage kale.
Then my unlimited wi fi, tells me I have no data left.
Not possible, that is why it is unlimited data, and it wants me to part with money. Not b likely.
So I try to get in on the app to get in on chat, but it tells me I cannot do that because I need to update the app first. But I need the data to update the app. So I try with my mobile (a different provider) to get hold of my unlimited wi fi provider. But I need to put my user name/email in before I can talk/chat to them. Put that in, but the response I get is email or password is not recognised. Both are saved in the device. Still comes back that one the other or both are not recognised. I try from my password book. Same thing.

I debate driving down to the store, breathing fire...but first I check is it down....there's problems in my area.

So the dragon fire will have to wait till tomorrow at least...

It'll be back by then...won't it...

Now to try my levitating skills again...to mend this washing line...I am a little out of practice... I think a nap first...don't you?

Precious memories from forty years ago. Many happy returns tomorrow to your middle lad, enjoy the football tonight and tomorrow - new precious memories to be made. We don't put up with you, we learn from and are inspired by you. Now I've said that you'll have to get a bigger hat. La:D
Ta La!
Really made up with this! Ye know.
Good day, celebrated, shame about the footie!
Poor game this avvy.
The yorkies popped over as well.
Mrs L put on a bit of a spread from the local bakers. Yuk!
Really cheered me up, cept the togger.
The yorkies got diverted cos of the anti racist march through the city.
6.6 this wet morning, beautiful afternoon in many ways than just the weather.
Gotta go, house needs a tidy up.
My best wishes to you lot as always.

All went well with the arrival, meal, games and bedtime for little ones. However just as adults were retiring an unexpected incident of projectile vomiting caused chaos for a considerable time.
You try stripping the bed entirely, mopping the floor and remaking the (double) bed in the dark while being as quiet as possible so as not to wake the sleeping baby.
Meanwhile mother is bathing the vomit covered child who is howling at the indignity and refusing to have his hair washed...
Things can only get better from here.
Oh yeah!
many many nights of that sort of cleaning, most of it acceptable, but some from relatives being intoxicated.
not mentioning my own accidents as a young un!

a Morris minor, will do that as well.

My first car a Morris Minor when in my teens still remember its reg it was SAM 229 they say you never forget your first do you.

I can’t remember posting Saturday’s fbg if not it was 5.9 didn’t have particularly good day abdominal pain and the runs still increased my step count you know bedroom to bathroom and back so not all bad.

Fbg 6.5

Nighttime wildlife video
Badger keeps looking on the Swing...
50 secs

Creative...black ink painting with fingers and Kuratake pens...

Drizzling at the mo.
But still warm.
Tomorrow supposed to be hot....

Better get my odds and ends of jobs done today...

Time for a cuppa.

Have a good day...

Thank you @gennepher for sharing your nighttime video and stunning landscape using your Japanese pens to full effect.

Saturday's FBG 4.3 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.

03.30 BG was 10.9 - no surprise there - I had a slice of fruitcake in the evening and it was 14.9 before I went to bed. Down to 7.5 now. The fruitcake was not a success. It was more fruit pudding than cake. Not entirely sure what to do with it now but I will have to find a better recipe to make before my "Royal Visitors" arrive.

Aches and pains returned to normal level today, so I will be able to get on and do things.

FBG 5.8 today.
Blue sky here with a sunny day forecast and a high of 25 degrees centigrade going to try and get out and about later.
Keiran has been making good use of his new bike he cycled up to Hardwick Hall yesterday and sat by one of the lakes for a while came back via the Silverhill trail so did a fair few miles.

Good morning everyone on the eleventh Sunday after Trinity so you really should be considering starting those sprouts if you are in a dental desert. No known fbg for me today. The 27 markers from Friday's bloods, plus the 3 on the day, my 5 Fitbit daily metrics and daily weigh in seem a more comprehensive guide to what lies beneath. Talking of those markers, now I've chilled out more, at least for a guy who only wants scores perfectly in the centre of normal range, and reviewed them, apart from bg only 2 others were not "green" (one by 0.07) . Sometimes one can have too much data and "drive.". Thank you all for sticking with me on this pilgrimage. I still have major doubts as to how Elsie Keto can ever provide enough nutrients and vitamins. I have never been fully convinced it can manage bg and it will never be a consistent joy bringer for me - we are all unique - especially outside of UK summer. @JohnEGreen hug for major transit issues, winner for Kieran and today's fbg. God be with you and Judith now and always. @Annb hug for #puddinnotcakegate but good news on aches and pains being only normal. Everyone else, I hope you find pleasure, shade and good hydration today.
Update; attached is the add atop my online Guardian today. I know you love a bargain @dunelm :D and yes, of course I'm tempted :playful:

‘A bargain’! @ianpspurs - the phrase must change somewhat as it moves south - probably at the same speed that spring moves north - about 2mph, picking up coin like a rolling stone gathering moss.:p

Good morning everyone on what may or may not be a blisteringly advertised scorchio or most likely a balmy sunny day, late delivered by Evri. 5.3 this a.m. and Mrs Miggins was up and out at 0730 - airport run with our daughter for company. On the way back, a call into the large yellow cube shaped escape room in the form of a maze sprinkled with flat pack tat where the only way out is to carry a small pencil and a paper tape measure whilst chanting, “how much!” It’s all a load of meatballs. Anyhow, I best carp my diem as best as I can - probably a wander down through the woods to keep in the shade. Art bit - some trees - all grey scale like a Redifusion TV test card. Might try and do another with a bit of colour in it. Hope your day is moving along reasonably - already drunk my koffy so will practice my daily procrastination for a while and then go for a walk.

Thank you for sharing another example of your artistic skill and a new way of gently denigrating Ikea whilst taking advantage of their "competitive" prices. I think there are words for that, though I doubt one would view them as a compliment :playful: Enjoy the shady walk and have a song to cheer you on your way. Predicted high of 33C here for Monday but only 24C for your area of the D and D.

A forest of different trees @dunelm
Brilliant, you do well with the details of different trees. Love this...

6.1 this morning. First day of my 3 week summer break. We went for a lovely leisurely early morning walk around the park with Poppy before it got too hot. Met up and with lots of our dog walking friends which was really nice.

Am being really lazy now, drinking coffee and reading and relaxing

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who carry the donor card and have discussed it with their families.

Let’s get the mundane blood sugars out of the way. 6.2 this morning.

Today is an important day for me here in Tilehurst Towers.
It is 32 years ago today that I received a Liver Transplant, everyday I think of the young man that died and his family that made the decision to donate his organs. To them my heartfelt thanks and also condolences.
Their decision has enabled me to watch all my children grow up and see all my grandchildren.

I also think about the medical personnel who have kept me alive. Thank you.

When I walked out of the liver transplant ward to go home for the first time I vowed that I would try and live a normal life as much as I could as an example to other transplant patients.
I do think to a certain extent I have been successful.
I ride motorcycles, 42 miles early this morning. I am learning to play the keyboard or as I call it plinky plonky, I make things for children and the occasional planter. Look for humour in every aspect of my life and try to make people smile.

Congratulations on those 32 years Alf and good man for the thoughts about the young man and his family. I have the attached as an annual reminder in my google diary but left that open at November overnight so forgot to congratulate you earlier. Sorry I forgot. You have used the time gifted you enormously well, just as you see fit and as your particular talents and personality dictate - normal is different for us all. We aren't all meant to be Deborah James (Bowelbabe) or Rob Burrow. I very much look forward to getting it right next August.
