What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Smashing ink runs from those pens and brushes. Lovely

Drinking water is still allowed to keep hydrated.
And I would welcome the endocrinologist appointment.
Many don't know about being intolerant.
More needs to be done about it.
Best wishes.

Thank you for sharing that creative. I see an animal on one branch - mouse/badger? and a crocodile on the ground.

Two outlines I can't work out - magnification blurs it too much. Well done on once again producing and sharing a creative especially while you are so busy with laundry and bedding hygiene for humans and animals.

6.8 this sofa soccer Saturday.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes.
Enjoy SSS. This is an interesting piece. Since the Olympics I've found English sport doesn't measure up in terms of quality of athletes and spirit, especially appreciation of and support for competitors. As for the PL, the only issue is when CIteh officially become champions and how cravenly the PL back away from their rules then justify not punishing them. I'll still watch Spurs every broadcast game I can though. Four promising under 20s but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ange gone by Christmas either. Cambridge manager must already be in danger too.

you are correct.
The prawn brigade have taken over.
most premier clubs plus some championship yo yo clubs are just cash cows for their owners, fans are the captive audience that are being fleeced by them. Most season tickets do not represent the areas depravity of the ground base.
I couldn't afford a season ticket at either Liverpool clubs. Just about at my club with my concessions price, same with the grandkids.
There is an ever increasing number of 'supporters' that are not from the same postcode or county.
The majority of supporters coaches at Anfield, are not from the visiting team, but from Liverpool supporters.
Flights at the airport, increase in match days from all over Europe.
At my club, we get visitors from Europe, that are here for the reds or blues games on a Sunday, come to PP for the Saturday match.
I don't watch much premiership games cos I don't understand the tactics of possession, tippy tap footie.
And it is no surprise to me that the glory hunters are the big clubs.
Full blown attacking football that we played and watched is seldom seen these days.
I wasn't impressed by the game Friday night, a lack of football finesse, and too much prima donna moments. And the majority of players are not British.
Finally, no surprise that the first two televised matches on tv, we're man u and liverpoo.
And I will bet you a million, that one or both will be the live games in the third round of the cups, as it has been for the last 25 years.
English football is not how I would describe our premier league.
But the premier league in the world.

I have seen the difference in the club's at the top and at the bottom of the league pyramid. It is huge.

I am having a week off after this is finished... @ianpspurs

There was nothing intentionally created, but I did work in a couple of shapes that presented themselves.
When I look at it again, I can see a lot more things in it...

Oh yes...a crocodile! I can now see even more things!!

This is lovely @JohnEGreen
How did you get that beautiful effect?

May seem mundane but the camera has various effects you can use it’s a matter of choosing the effect you want mind you you have to be able to see what the result will be in your minds eye to achieve the result you want.

Yes @gennepher, I can see a crocodile. Your work really stirs the imagination.
Thank you for sharing.

Saturday's FBG 4.3 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.

That is a great idea @JohnEGreen
You have chosen well with that effect..
I would love to see some photos...

Highish BG again at 05.00 today. 9.3. Have to do some work on that today.

Unusually my cleaner is going to come today. She's quite happy to be working on Sunday as long as I am alright with it. I'm not a strict Sabbatarian so it's OK by me. It's the only day she can manage this week so, if it is to be done, today it has to be. This will be the first time she has been here in months because she went off sick, and then our house was in disaster mode and anything more than cleaning tiny spots was impossible. We can actually see some of the floors now and things can be moved to clean around the place. It really needs to be done.

The odd-job man came and did the work in the loft yesterday so we can start to look at getting back to what used to be normal. He charged less than I expected, so I was happy. I can't get into the loft to see what he has done but Neil seems happy enough. Not that Neil can get into the loft to do anything just yet - there are still too many particles in the atmosphere. He is buying a proper serious mask with an air filtration system (2nd hand - about £200 worth) so that he can get on with putting everything back together up there.

Good morning everyone from a wonderfully silent start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 4.9 this a.m., was it the avocado and feta salad drenched in olive oil last night? Who knows. Conversation with youngest son last night: he dug out some tents to check them out for some wild camping next weekend - the one he chose and then gave a service to (waterproofing and a couple of new guy ropes) was my old monopole Fjallraven that I bought in 1974/5. (Picture below) It took me to Germany, Austria, Italy, Norway, many parts of the UK and is still in good working order. He says the smell of it brought back childhood memories of camping above the snow line with dad. I can’t remember how much I paid for it but a replacement is in the £6-800 bracket - so, good to know that it is still in use 50 years on. Talking of Norway, we are going there on Wednesday, a cruise round the fjords and another trip up the Flam railway. Mrs Miggins has been packed for over a week. I will do mine on Tuesday although the great gathering together of items has already begun. Art bit - more runny than a ripe Brie. Have your best day. I shall do the ceremony of the cafetière and see how the day unfolds.

Fbg 5.5 this morning.

@dunelm I remember arriving on the island of Andoya in a blizzard where we were greeted by a small group of Norwegian military personal who brought with them a couple of crates of beer I had never drunk a bottle of ice cold beer in the middle of a blizzard before we stayed in a little hotel in the town of Andenes one of the most beautiful places it has been my good fortune to visit if you ever get the chance to visit the island it is well worth the trip.

Thanks @JohnEGreen. I have just looked it up and you are right about how beautiful it is. We are not going that far north on this trip. Cold beer in a blizzard - very cool the Norwegians.
