I too have a love hate relationship with sausages. Too many have chunks of gristle in them, or are mush squeezed into a skin. Toulouse sausages or merguez from the butcher usually pass muster.Thank you @ianpspurs and pleased you had a chortle or two. The thing with sausages is that only a tiny few really pass muster - the rest fall into the category “strange but true”.
But when viewings are arranged, as happened yesterday afternoon, with just over two hours notice and then cancelled only five mins before time, it's very disappointing, sale seems further away than ever.Never say never. It only takes one buyer.

Here is a photo of the jigsaw currently occupying far too much of my time, to the detriment of tidying the garden, a less appealing option when it is raining, as it does every day, even if not all day. l thought the sky and sea would be the most difficult parts, but I was wrong. Sky was easy, sea less so, but the town is a real challenge, have been working on it for several days. So far resisted the temptation to utilise the life sized image included in the unusually small box.My PC computer is situated in the bay window.
so when I get chance to do some jigsaw on my PC, I can seethe outside of my front garden.
And the road, and the neighbours and whoever comes calling.

That's so disappointing, @SlimLizzy, undergoing the stress of getting the house ready for viewing in a rush and then having to change plan at the last minute.. Your house may be dark in this season and weather, but I bet it looks cozey with a few lamps around the place. Now it is autumn, the garden does not show to advantage and the house can be quite dark on a dull day. We were not allowed by planning to add any windows bar skylights, or to increase the size of those existing.

My brother does jigsaw puzzles but I don't. Once I start one, I can't give up on it until it's done - no patience. My puzzling is all done on family history sites and charts. Same with that though. I love this art bit @dunelmGood morning everyone on somewhat drying and windy start to the day after the deluge here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.3 this a.m. Rain has stopped and a good day for hanging out washing. Garden furniture had a rave last night and huddled at the bottom of the garden with several trees worth of leaves. According to Germand news, Starmer’s speech was the wurst one this year - will we ever put it to rest? It’s all pigs in blankets and that’s just in Westminster - can’t blame Specsavers at those prices. Mrs Miggins and twin are off to see a production of Swan Lake this evening - seen it before - Romeo and Juliette but like morris dancing with feather dusters. Art bit - more paint pouring - it took the best part of available daylight to dry so not minded to do more until the sun shines hot and bright - or even the other way round - or both at once - or sometime next year. Oh blast, that Annie Lennox song is being played again and with gusto! Hope your day is not like it is here, wetter than an Otters pocket again. Best get on and make more koffy.

Thanks @ianpspursMorning everyone from a damp and decidedly fresh L.A. Unknown fbg as sensor expired last evening and I need to evaluate the risk and reward of applying another one. There is already too much in my life over which I am powerless to influence without Libre emphasising that steroids and antibiotics add bg management to the list - risk. On the other hand, making no effort to manage bg is also a risk but is there any reward apart from feeling well at least I tried?. Libre showed clearly whatever strategies I used to control my desire to bring readings in line with trend there was a stress effect just before a reading: I always set a timer and knew when time was approaching - which rapidly fell away. @gennepher thank you for sharing the photo and kaleidoscope. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art. Today we plan to go into Newmarket - provided the earlier accident on the A14 hasn't gridlocked West Suffolk - as I need more EVOO and a marmite and cheese sausage roll is on my non-existent bucket list - risk and reward. The same butcher also sells amazing scotch eggs according to JKP. and we need meat for a family Sunday lunch. Why do most supermarkets offer meat in sizes only fit for the Borrowers - except that awful leg of lamb nonsense? Enjoy Friday - chances of cricket in St John's Wood?

I had to go out this morning to pick up my prescription. I couldn't understand why when I was in the chemist that their lighting was affecting my vision.
It was messing my vision up making me start off with a visual migraine attack. It has not done that before. Then I realised there was a spotlight above the cashiers desk facing all the customers. It was like a bright interrogation lamp and all I could see was colours. I just couldn't even see the peoples faces. There was a bit of commotion by the door and I looked away from the exceptionally bright spotlight. Then I realised there were a few what looked like to me, drug addicts, at the front of the chemist shop by the window, inside... there was a bit of argy bargy among them, and they were shoving each other. One was getting a bit angry and very agitated. There was no way of anyone getting out of the chemist shop because they were all at the door...
Then the angry one was looking through all the cold remedies on the counter and opened one and he found what he was looking for which appeared to be small sachet of something but it was not the actual cold remedy itself, it was a hand folded piece of white paper. He got what he came for and then left.. then I realised quite possibly the bright light was to deter the drug addicts but it is completely messed up my sight for today or longer. There were also a couple of set in ceiling lights either side of the spotlight which were flashing. Both of these would trigger off a visual migraine attack for me.
I collected my medicines and came straight home because I wasn't able to do any shopping not being able to see properly.
I should have been doing a few more badger and fox videos, but I am unable to see well enough to work on the iPad to do them, so they are on hold until this visual migraine attack has gone.
No kaleidoscopes either today because I can't see well enough to do them.
So, that is me stymied for a few days...
