What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Just when you get cozy with food items, they stick a pin in your bubble. Doctor trying to take blood - oh dear

Beautifully drawn trees...
Interesting history @dunelm

Afraid it's that time of year @Annb when male house spiders leave their webs to go in search of a girlfriend.
Thankfully, help was at hand and you were finally able to get to bed.

Monday's FBG, 4.3 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.
I don't allow canoodling by anyone, let alone spiders, in my house. I can't any more, so no-one can.

Fbg 7.1 an aeon ago...

My internet connection went on a go slow today. I am trying to download the apps on to my iPad Mini. Which I thought should have been done, when the iPad was reinstalled through the backup from the Apple cloud.

I was grumbling to a friend today who has nothing but Apple and Macs, and stuff and she said she had the same problem the last time she reinstalled a device from the backup.

I am still nowhere near finishing re-setting up that iPad Mini. It is my main everything device so I needed all done as soon as possible. My online banking still insists that my password and extra security password is incorrect. It most definitely is not. A couple of bills came in today by post which I need my online banking to pay for and I can't get in on it.

There are quite a few apps which I paid some money for and I can't get in on them. To try and get in on the other apps I've got to jump through security hoops, 4 or 6 letter codes delivered to my phone and then I've got to put them in the app to see if I can get the app running. This is driving me totally demented.

I have completely run out of steam...
This is at least doing take me another couple of days. In the meantime here is a painting of some flowers I did about a few years ago...

I think today is nearly over so I wish you a happy tomorrow,..

Thank you for sharing an atmospheric autumnal scene @dunelm.

Tuesday's FBG, 4.4 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.

Dear me @gennepher what a headache! Thank you for taking the trouble, despite everything, to share this lovely artwork.

All the best with the tech stuff - and thanks for the smashing art work.

5.6 this morning.
Today is my day for staying in my local area - so no trips to Norwich.

Who do I believe - Met Office or BBC weather.
If Met Office is right Poppy will get her walk behind Beetley Village Hall before I start classes. However, BBC weather says no - it will be too wet for a walk.

Good morning everyone on a decidedly wet and dreary start to a wet and dreary day here in the dark and dangerous north. Smashing day in Whitby yesterday albeit a bit overcast. Got kippers from Fortunes Smokehouse, I shall have one today with scrambled eggs and another tomorrow - Mrs Miggins is not keen. On the bus home Mrs Miggins mentioned that she and her sister are going over to Scarborough today to see our niece’s new born and did I want to go as well? As my brain began to freeze over trying to decipher such a strange grouping of words, I manage, before zero kelvin was reached, to break the spell and say “no”. Art bit - Chinese ink and Koffy - strange but true. May your body stay warm and your fuel bills be low. I better finish my koffy and Make Mrs Miggins a mug of tea.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentleman and those who mistrust the BBC’s work of science fiction and fantasy, aka the weather forecast.

My blood sugars this morning were 5.4

@Krystyna23040 Me, me’s and myself use the met office app. Good luck.

A bit of a red letter day here in Tilehurst Towers. After 7 weeks of missing my plinky plonky lessons due to my radiotherapy treatment I shall be attempting to attend today’s lesson. I have been practicing and since stopping my lessons have done 1130 minutes of practice. I have no natural ability and a poor memory, therefore I keep records, I nearly typed notes, but those are what I am attempting to play on my keyboard.

Now that’s enough of that. I shall wish you all a great day, a few smiles and in the words of Brian “ Always look on the bright side of life “
I will now don my tea boy hat and make Mrs J’s early morning mug of tea. I know my place…..

I mainly open the door and look up at the sky - or consult a pine cone or look at the weather stone to see if it’s wet.

All the best with the tech stuff - and thanks for the smashing art work.
Thank you very much @dunelm

Oh for the old days when we didn't have any tech... So much more peaceful and simpler...

But then we didn't have easy reach to the world and everything within it... So everything comes with a price, and the price for that is that I have to be a blooming expert in technology...

Yes, I still long to be a child running free in Sherwood forest with my dog Sandy... but I still can in my mind in an instant...klcking the autumn leaves and hiding in the hollow trunk of the Major Oak...leaving all the cares in the world behind...

Coffee is amazing to paint with... brilliant art bit @dunelm

Good morning all from L.A. where the weather is so far functional for anything I'm likely to do: dry, relatively mild with a high probability of afternoon showers. That's according to my phone. The most reliable weather forecasts I have known came from a farmer I regularly conversed with back in the Old Country. He used the hedgerows and progress of crops as well as very high tech meteorological data and his records. Remarkably accurate medium term forecasts. @gennepher hug for the frustration in restoring full functionality to your tech. Thank you for sharing the creative. @dunelm thank you for sharing the photos and art. Enjoy the kippers - I never did see the attraction but my dad and grandparents did. I suspect the correct answer to Mrs Miggins' question was a quick yes but you know best. @Krystyna23040 good news on staying close to home today. As for the weather and Poppy's walk I'd say be like Mr Asquith, wait and see (favourite, ubiquitous saying of my maternal grandmother). @alf_Josiah I hope the PP lessons go well. May the very localised pleasure forecast for your Wednesday be sunny even in periods.
