We were not aware of any reaction to this year's flu vaccination @Krystyna23040 and I don't know of anyone affected. We've yet to be immunised against COVID.6.1 this morning.
Mr K has had a reaction to either the covid or flu jab and it has wiped him out. Several class members have also reported that they have also been affected.
He said that he was freezing cold last night and couldn't sleep as he was so cold - which is so.not like him as I am usually the cold one.
Have just rung home and he is feeling a lot better after resting this morning.
Hugs for Mr KMr K has tested positive for Covid so won't be back to his superstar self for a few more days. Yesterday he was negative but I tested him again this evening because I was a bit concerned about his feeling freezing cold.
Although I am still negative I have cancelled all classes for tomorrow as I can't risk passing it on to all class members and have also text my dentist to cancel my check up tomorrow.
This morning Fitbit flagged up my resting heart rate has gone higher. Could it be the vaccine or have I caught covid. Must buy more tests tomorrow.
Bag them up for leaf mould next year, free compost and a great soil improver. They are definitely colourful all over my garden. Grrrrf!
My SIL was quite poorly for a few days after her flu vaccine but has yet to have her covid one. I had to cancel my vaccination appointment because of my cold but have rescheduled it for tomorrow (both flu and covid). Fingers crossed. We were not aware of any reaction to this year's flu vaccination @Krystyna23040 and I don't know of anyone affected. We've yet to be immunised against COVID.
I wish Mr K a steady recovery.
Monday 's FBG 4.2 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.
Thank you @jjraak. He still feels quite ropey today but he is eating now and his temperature is back to normal. All the best to Mr K for a speedy recovery.
I wonder if that means that they won't go into their lovely Autumn colours this year. It's the same here in London @Krystyna23040. Trees are shedding their leaves when still green.

I am keeping fingers (and toes) crossed that it will be mild. It is a good sign that his temperature is back to normal already.Sorry to hear that it’s Covid hope it’s mild and he recovers quickly.
When I had my appointment for dressing change on Thursday was talking to the nurse and covid came up in the conversation it turned out she had it twice first time when working on a covid ward and the second time she contacted it while giving jabs at a vaccination centre though she escaped hospitalisation on both occasions.
We thought it was a reaction to the vaccine so were a bit slow in testing for Covid, which it turned out to be. He has definitely improved today. We were not aware of any reaction to this year's flu vaccination @Krystyna23040 and I don't know of anyone affected. We've yet to be immunised against COVID.

He is recovering faster than I thought he would. So far I am still negative "touch wood"
Sorry to hear that Mr K, has come down with the dreaded lurgy, covid in any form is not nice at all.Mr K has tested positive for Covid so won't be back to his superstar self for a few more days. Hope he recovers quickly.
I remember seeing something similar at the old training ground. Will you be making leafmould? @Lamont D. Handy for mulch, potting or soil conditioner, it's easier than a compost heap.
Really Autumn here tad warmer today. Frosty overnight. It's the same here in London @Krystyna23040. Trees are shedding their leaves when still green.

Fabulous bit of artwork ....Good morning everyone from the warmth of French Froggy France. A bit overcast but you can’t always get what you want Mr Jagger. It’s quite tiring spending a day sitting on a variety of public transport seats and thinking ‘so far, so good’ when multiple connections are coming down the pipeline. Today is all about shopping and doings some fixing up - which will include mending a crack in a glass door panel (wiv a fancy kit) and repairing a triple lock door locking mechanism - I shall use that experience to advise the govt on state pensions. Art bit - not actually painting a waterfall. An interesting art project in Lyon if interested. Hope you have a good day. Everything turns on your assumptions about it of course, but that’s on you as Marcus Aurelius might have observed. Must surely be time for koffy.
