Wagon Wheels? Oh no, the pearl clutchers will be at your door with burning torches and pitch forks. You do know we still use ducking stools here in the Exotic East?Good that you were able to downloaded @ianpspurs.
In another universe I used to enjoy kit Kats. It seems so long ago now. Just remembered Wagon Wheels and Frys Mint Chocolate. Must stop reminiscing
I get ya, @dunelm .The reason is probably because if a file does not immediately open, I can’t deal with it
Wish he could come and cut mine, usually takes me two days. Someone younger and fitter might manage all of it in a day. The front hedge is about fifty metres of Leylandii. Height varies between two and three metres depending which side you are standing and about the same in width. Then there is the side "hedge" mixed native shrubs and trees that has been allowed to grow out. All of that will require a lot of coffee and cake. Perhaps with an overnight stay.5.2 this morning.
Our hedges have been cut this morning and look really neat and tidy now. Then we had a lovely chat with our hedge trimmer over a hot drink. I think he stayed longer chatting than it took him to trim the hedges.
MrSlim used to like KitKat, but since they were taken over, the recipe has changed and now neither of us will eat them, because they simply are not nice anymore.Good that you were able to downloaded @ianpspurs.

I am not sure it feels like a Tuesday... It feels like an early morning Sunday, partly because no traffic on the roads when I went shopping earlier...Good morning everyone on another smashing day in paradise here in the dark and dangerous north. Up and out today - a mystery tour with Mrs Miggins at the helm. Art bit - a bit of a punt. Hope your day thinks it’s Tuesday. Best make koffy and get ready.
I intend to try. It turns out that I have what medics are calling a Mitochondrial Disorder which seems to cause my muscles to become weaker as time goes on - what ever exercise is done to try to strengthen them. This is what is causing the inability to balance very well and the pain when I try to exercise any muscles (I get the burn but not the resulting improvement in muscle power). Very odd. I didn't know the mitochondria had anything to do with that. My brother has had an odd kind of problem with walking ever since his heart operation 18 months ago - he can walk good distances but feels unbalanced all the time, as though some of his muscles aren't working properly so he has to think about each step to make sure his feet are where he wants them to be. I thought he might like to try one or other of these exercises as well. That's great that you could open them @Annb . Perhaps the best one for you would be the walking backwards as long as you do it very gently and don't do very many steps to start with
Seems to have gone to ground - spending more time with his family - but this was spiffing. Words @gennepherGood Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.
Blood sugars this morning were 4.5
This morning started with a day full of good intentions, but as so often happens…..
Never mind, plan B to the rescue. Now where did I leave plan B?
Stay safe all.
Thanks for the words Ian ..Seems to have gone to ground - spending more time with his family - but this was spiffing. Words @gennepher
In my defence @ianpspurs - it was you who first bought up the subject of kit katsWagon Wheels? Oh no, the pearl clutchers will be at your door with burning torches and pitch forks. You do know we still use ducking stools here in the Exotic East?
That is a lot of hedge to cut @SlimLizzy. He is really reasonable and a really nice person. He came to the rescue and cut our hedges after Mr K fell over the two Labradors and broke his hip. He has continued cutting them ever since. He doesn't charge very much at all, so we always give him more than he asks forWish he could come and cut mine, usually takes me two days. Oh that's really good news @SlimLizzy . So I definitely won't be tempted to try them again. I think they have done the same to Wagon Wheels.MrSlim used to like KitKat, but since they were taken over, the recipe has changed and now neither of us will eat them, because they simply are not nice anymore.
That's not scientific, you need at least three controlled tests to make it valid according to the scientist in my family. The one with an MSc, but that was applied to sampling my wine and brandy so may not be strictly accurate.Oh that's really good news @SlimLizzy . So I definitely won't be tempted to try them again. Yes, both the walking backwards exercises will help your brother. Hopefully they will also help[ you @AnnbI intend to try.
