Back from the doc's. Apparently I don't have a UTI. So, in case it was the Prozac that was causing the irritation, I've been switched to Buspar/Buspirone, which unlike Prozac is not an SSRI anti-anxiety med.
Thank you all who posted good wishes. Whatever was causing the pain seems to have quit.
Well done @Debandez you were brill.
Hope you had a lovely evening @DJC3 , my wife often forgets our anniversary, she uses the excuse that I should have made it more memorable.
I heard on the radio the other morning that there had been a study that proved the futility of arguing with your wife, something about them having a better episodic memory than men, and have a better recall of facts and figures thus being able to argue better. I don’t know why they needed a study to prove that.
great news @SaskiaKC
are you happy with the new meds and the Non anti anxiety aspect..can you manage in other ways ?

Posting this for those who haven’t seen it. Though not sure if the video will play for other countries, or if it’s a localised copyrights issue.

Morning...can't believe what I watched last night as BOJO ranted & threw his toys well & truly out of the pram in front of an audience of millions.. yes that is our Prime Minister lord help us...raining steadily here...woke to a 6.1
Thank you for posting this link @Fndwheelie
I don’t have a telly.
But I am profoundly deaf and I need subtitles and there were none. So I have no idea of the words spoken in the interview.
However I could see how @Debandez carried herself positively and assuredly and composed. It was lovely to see Debs. So thanks to both Debs and Fndwheelie.
Oh wow @DebandezDr zoe firstly clarified differences between type 1 and 2. And went on to say remission possible when they introduced me as an example. I spoke about my diagnosis and my mums struggles with her T2. I then went on to say how I had done it. Googled reversing diabetes, found low carb program and success stories bringing down BS weight cholesterol BP. Wondered what a carb was. 'Should have listened at school (laughs) realised carbs turned to sugar. Started low carb. Weight melted away losing stone first month stone second and further 2 in 4 months. Bs levels too. Along those lines ;-)
Nice oneThanks. I’ve found a solution - booked to go out for dinner and press ganged daughter into giving us a lift there and back so we can have a bottle of wine. I’ll pretend it was a surprise!
