What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.7

Was sun, but now clouds...
Dogs barking non stop.
I feel sleepy...

Creative...a woman talking on her phone while crossing the road...a finger line sketch on my phone...while having a cuppa tea in my car...

That's it...

Have a good day...

Smashing - these need to be in a bound set

A surprising 6.2 this am.

Doing mostly kitchen duties today.

I'm wondering why it is very bright first thing, then clouds over, then clears for a starry clear night, so it is frosty.
For my sanity, please.
Keep it mid teens and a nice spring day. I don't ask for much!!!!!!!
According to the met office @Lamont D, the air has not warmed up first thing in the morning so less dust and more importantly less people using it. During the day, the school run with all those tractors makes huge demands and starts polluting the air, moving it about and screaming parents shout obscenities which collect as clouds.
Later, the great unwashed rise from their lairs and log into their virtual dole offices demanding free cake and pop causing the weather to get upset and mardy.
Later, as the sun sets, the moon, which was invented just before the Industrial Revolution in Manchester, comes out and says, “calm down, calm down”, this encourages stars to furtively peep round black holes shining their cold light on Jack Frost for the night shift.

Good morning everyone on a perfectly silent start to another weekly spin round the sun.
5.9 this a.m. due mainly to half of something sticky and full of prune purée. We finished eating well before 7 last night so the inside story has had loads of time to get with the program.
The Ninky Nonks (Chaos and Mayhem) turn eight today but as it’s a school day all the fun and games took place yesterday.
Girl In The Bubble still has a rash and although the doctor says it’s of no concern and she herself is not concerned either, school is taking no chances - so, grandparents again. Which will be nice as she can help Mrs Miggins decide upon the final two candidates to replace her sofa which for some strange reason has become so uncomfortable and simply must be addressed and placed in pole position on the must do list of activities and well above anything gardening - which is a surprise. Still, I know nothing of lists - forsaking them forever on the day I retired from the labour of earning. Rather , I now glance at stuff unfolding and think, “how interesting, move along”.
Art bit - a couple of thin trees maybe.
Hope your day is dotted with joy. I shall make koffy and bath in the wonder of my prescription pills all aligning on the exact day printed on the back of the blister packs.

5.0 this morning. I really can't remember the last time I had a fbs of 5.0 as it was so so long ago. Hopefully l will see more of then in the future.

Could it have something to do with cutting down the coffee a bit and drinking gallons of water instead.

Off to classes in Norwich shortly. A busy week ahead but I feel back to normal so it should be a good week.

Gallons of water @Krystyna23040 helps me in lots of things, but availability of toilets when out does not help...

4.8 this morning.
Bit chilly here with overcast sky.
Couple of appointments today at the doctors for dressing hopefully the tissue viability nurse will be attending and the other for INR test.
Keiran and his girlfriend decided to visit Ludd’s Church yesterday but had not realised how incredibly difficult it it to get to it quite rough country set in the Peake district Keiran noticed some elderly people take one look and turn back he was waiting for someone to take a tumble unfortunately it was his girlfriend but no serious damage done.

Good Morening all and sundry, take offence if you want, the choice is yours.

Blood sugars this morning were 6.8 , a figure to be jealous of, if you are of that nature.

I am unsupervised again, all day! Mrs J’s task list for me has been lost.
High on my list today is sourcing heavy duty tarpaulins, no not for transporting bodies.

Now koffy is calling.

I’m off to enjoy myself, I hope you can also.

So I was sat in the doctors waiting area waiting for my morning appointment nurse comes out and tells me the tissue viability nurse not coming till this afternoon so morning appointment redundant go home and come back for this afternoon’s appointment why could they not of phoned me and told me not to bother this morning.

8.9 at 03.00 today. Still in the 9's after some tea, some coffee and some hummus. If I don't have anything more to eat until this evening, it should go down a bit.

Very sunny here but so cold.

Letter from DWP to inform me that my Attendance Allowance is going up by almost £2 a week from 07 April. Be thankful for small mercies, at least there's no threat of taking it away from me.

What a pallaver went to leave the house to go to the afternoon appointment only to find some kind person had parked his van across the gate so unable to get my scooter out couldn’t find the driver wheelchair in back of the car and car off somewhere with Keiran so tried to walk unable to make far so had to return rippled with pain eventually got hold of Keiran who came back and took me there only to find that the appointment time was changed appointment got sorted in the end Keiran picked me up in the car had to go and rest for a couple of hours to recover some days are just like that.

Some people are just plain thoughtless, John. That includes the driver of that parked car and whoever was supposed to sort out the appointments for you. It really makes me angry when people do that sort of thing.

Blooming ridiculous @JohnEGreen
I would not have the energy to go out again in the afternoon for that appointment. And I am sure you must've felt the same way....

That is terrible @JohnEGreen

The car issue where people park across gates or drop curbs, et cetera makes me very angry because this is been happening for years with me. If I ever complained that is if I ever found the culprit to complain to, the answer was well you shouldn't be let out then should you?

You needed longer than two hours to recover from that in the afternoon. If we're going by the spoon theory. You probably won't have your full quota of spoons for today.... get through the day...

Lovely at Ludd’s Church even if it is a bit of scramble and can be quite muddy in that little ravine. Wild blueberries to be picked along the woodland paths when in season.
