A hug for the convoluted route to getting the co-codamol but hopefully now you have some they work well. Rest sounds like the best idea for you today. Take care.Fbg five point eight.
Yesterday was a bit of a day as I had been having quite a bit of pain in my legs due to protracted claudication, I decided to go to the doctors and ask for stronger pain killers as. I had been using over the counter co-codamol she thought though that there might be a small risk of a blood clot so so gave me a letter and sent me off to A and E where I spent an hour or so waiting until taken through to the day care centre the procedure then was to have a blood sample taken this being taken to a lab and the result being brought back in two hours then you see a doctor then you would come back in a day or two for a scan. When the blood test result came back two or so hours later the doctor said that she thought if there was a blood clot then my warfarin had not been working so they wanted to take me off warfarin and have me take injectables indefinitely and she went off to arrange a script for that then when she returned told me all changed but to carry on with warfarin and as there was little swelling in my leg that a scan is not required so I asked about pain relief and she said sure and gave me a script for higher strength co-codamol which is all I had asked the doctor for in the first place so I feel I had my whole day wasted and of course by the time we left the chemists was shut so had to wait till this morning to get the prescription filled after a sleepless night due to the constant pain have now taken the pain relief so things easing up think I shall take things easy today.
Good luck for your annual family weekend and racing funds.Good morning everyone on a much cooler start to the day than lately here in the dark and dangerous north.
5.8 this a.m.
It’s our annual family weekend where we get together and raise some funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. This year is close to home. It’s getting quite expensive booking a self catering venue for 35+ people nowadays. So, a 12 mile walk up the coast, finishing at our local cricket club for cups of tea and cucumber sandwiches (yeh, right). Unfortunately, and despite several protestations by the chimp inside my head, I am just walking the last 3.5 miles. Mrs Miggins is doing the whole thing.
Art bit - still using up scraps of paper and what paint is in the pallet. Not quite what I wanted but there it is.
Hope your day treats you well. I have already had to take pain relief this morning to appease several complaints and informed said complainants that it will be a grand day so just knock it off. Best make a delicious mug of koffy and then get myself ready.
A messed up day @JohnEGreenFbg five point eight.

Thanks @AnnbThe hug was for all those continuing problems caused by unthinking people. I gather the co-op has been having a lot of trouble due to a cyber attack - don't know if it affects the Co-op bank though. I don't know what can be done about people un-fixing things which you've managed to get fixed. It's just so frustrating - and I'm not even on the receiving end of it.
Thank you @Krystyna23040I love your Art bit @dunelm
