So sorry to hear this. I wonder if they will try laser. Have heard that it is a very successful option. They have mentioned this to me if the injections don't work.If after the next three there is no improvement then he will consider a different option.
I've just had another look at them...brothers aged 8 years...very tempted...will have to have a visit there soon.
Am.really late posting fbs which was 6. Two hours after breakfast 6.2 - so really weird that for the second day running there was no rise after breakfast - nor any meal.
Got my results for my Bone Health Qualification. A pass with 96 marks out of a possible 96 marks. Am so shocked as I truly believed that I wouldn't pass because it was so hard. Thank goodness that I don't need to do anymore exams.
A lot of Shakespeare around here today.
I didn't feel that good after mine either and I got a huge reaction at the injection site - which hasn't happened for years. Maybe it's especially potent this year. The flu nurse said I would probably feel not well for a couple of days. I said I was always okay after the flu jab. So I don't know if this is psychological suggestion or what. I didn't sleep well last night. But I am joining Popeye in sleep.
thank you @SaskiaKCGreat news! Congratulations.
Hi just back from my review at the hospital with eye consultant. As I expected I need another course of anti-VEGF injections which will start in the next few weeks. If after the next three there is no improvement then he will consider a different option. Its disappointing for me cos after the first injection my sight improved a lot but my last one was two months ago and the leaking of blood has resumed. I knew my sight was reduced. Trying to look on the bright side at least I have options and it is only one eye so can count my blessings.
@gennepher hope a good rest with Popeye does you a power of good.
@HarryBeau if you go for the ginger brothers I will expect regular pics!
Congratulations on the brilliant exam result.Am.really late posting fbs which was 6. Two hours after breakfast 6.2 - so really weird that for the second day running there was no rise after breakfast - nor any meal.

Thank you @ianpspurs. Still not really sunk in yet.Congratulations on the brilliant exam result.
7 even this Friday morning. I am enjoying coffee from my new Mr Coffee (not quite smoking, burn-the-tongue hot but tasty) and watching a funny movie about a dog of my favorite breed, a white Bull Terrier. The movie is based on one of my favorite dog stories, "The Bar Sinister."
The KittenCat is sleeping through it. ^. .^
@gennepher I'm sorry you're feeling poorly after your flu shot. The one time I ever had one I felt the same way. I'm glad Popeye is there with you. Best nurses in the world. ^. .^
I think the flu jab is particularly potent this year @Krystyna23040
I felt really ill earlier.
And I had stayed the full 20 mins after the jab in the waiting room.
The injection site itself is fine..so far, but my skin is incredibly itchy all over. And I got pins and needles badly in my hands and fingers, and feet and toes. It really upset me earlier. And my nerve endings in my fingers, feet and toes went ballistic. I was in tears. Popeye, cat, kept pawing my face as though he didn't want me to sleep. I felt worse lying down.
So I got up and did physical jobs. Felt a wee bit better. Sitting in potting shed now for a rest with feet up and cat Popeye, and now my feet and toes, and hands in fingers are firing the nerve endings on all cylinders again.
The flu injection nurse had been insistent that I would feel effects this year, and that it would go on a couple days or so. I didn't hear all he said. I couldn't.
I have never had anything like this before. I have never had any effects, not even flu like symptoms before in past years.
Not happy.
My skin has been incredibly ichy all over also and that has never happened to me before either. Hopefully it means that it will be very effective this year. The injection site itself is fine..so far, but my skin is incredibly itchy all over.
Congratulations @trick60 in resisting the lovely cream cakes and muffins.
I got a pile of chocolate biscuits (my favourite ones) dropped on the table in front of me yesterday and left there. But I carried on like you and resisted!!!! Even when someone put the chocolate biscuits in my bag for me to take home, I gave them back to them politely...

I hope @Krystyna23040 that is a correct prediction. My skin has been incredibly ichy all over also and that has never happened to me before either. Hopefully it means that it will be very effective this year.
Thank you @trick60Well done Gennepher, some people just don't get it do they, there is enough temptation out there without friends foisting their sugary treats on us. If I'm going to fall off the rickety diabetic wagon I'll choose when and what with.
