Very honest words from his heart and soul. We can only reflect on the fragility of life whether you are a prince or pauper. We can only pray.Tragedy for Kobe Bryant's wife and family losing him and 13 yo daughter in crash. I had never heard this poem before and never attained his level as an athlete but boy does it resonate with me. Payers for that family, those of the murdered English footballer and all athletes who struggle after retirement. A few posts - mine included - are often tinged with feelings of loss of pleasures from food no longer on the menu. He seems to have handled a greater loss far better. Huge respect for him having heard that poem https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/basketball/51256110
Best wishes for marketing and the longed for opportunity for Mr PM to take it easy. One would hope Mrs PM may also be afforded a little more leisure.Morning All. 5.8 and defo still learning. Yesterday was a strange one insofar as I had fbg 6.5 ate brunch of bacon & eggs and then nothing for 8 hours but at 6pm I tested 5.8 which surprised me. I am doing my best most of the time but I dont control this, I try to, it controls me. Profound but I guess many of you feel the same. But on I go.
Monday already and last week of January. Lots of very satisfactory cupboard clearing out yesterday with Mr PM as usual found surprising items. Hoping to go on the market next month but we need new facias and soffits after a battering by the weather in the last 6 months.
Have a great Monday if you can. Stay well, stay safe.
Winner for the art and sheer refusal to be cowed by anything or anyone. Real "have at" approach to life. Now rest, meditate and inspire us again when you are ready.Fbg 9.1 at 4am

I had tinned fruit and double cream again. As I have said before I have dry mouth and throat due to Sjögren's syndrome, and this is so comforting to my throat and mouth during the night and meansI don't have to take my several different dry mouth meds in the night. But this is absolutely no good for my blood sugars.
The thing is there is artificial sweeteners in my prescribed dry mouth meds. And I don't like artificial sweeteners. I have researched all this and tried to find something different, but it comes down to food again as the best natural thing to help my dry mouth. But the foods I need to eat for my dry mouth raise my blood sugars. The Speech and Language therapist said to eat the foods I need to eat for my dry mouth and throat, and we will give you extra/more diabetic meds. She said you have to eat, and you need to eat to keep your throat lubricated so it doesn't seize up. and when my throat seizes up my airway seizes up because it is next to it...I have a spray I always carry now so I am ready the second it seizes up.
I am not going down that road with extra diabetic meds.
You're damned if you do, and damned if you don't...
So frustrating.
Just so tired of it all.
Back to the drawing board...

I will have a look at your earlier posts, then I will have a nap...electric blanket is on...cat is already asleep on top of me, heated steam eye mask is ready at my side...and I will meditate...
Have a good Monday...
Have fun...
Have some hugs out of the bottomless basket of hugs whether you need them or not...

Thanks Ian all will be good if we can maintain two separate tv spacesBest wishes for marketing and the longed for opportunity for Mr PM to take it easy. One would hope Mrs PM may also be afforded a little more leisure.
I'm hoping for 3 or so depending on Bob the builder and his sidekick in the RSJ trade. TV room/man cave as the new shed is the secret of longevity in a marriage. Thanks Ian all will be good if we can maintain two separate tv spaces
In Apache villages, the squaw on the hippopotomus hide is equal to the sum of the squaws on the other two hides. The origin of the hippopotomus hide popping up so far from home is an advanced discussion when drawing a circle in the sand and moving a radii stick round it in search of animal sign - or even animal co-sign. It’s very tangental and a bit wavy round the edges. In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem, also known as Pythagoras' theorem, is a fundamental relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares on the other two sides. This theorem can be written as an equation relating the lengths of the sides a, b and c, often called the "Pythagorean equation":[1]
{\displaystyle a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2},}
Just saying....
Hugs for the dry throat issues and the frustration of the tinned fruit dilemma. It is so unfair I am mad on your behalf. Does it work if you avoid the juice? Or maybe have smaller quantities? Probs no help at all just wish you could solve it.Fbg 9.1 at 4am

The trick with fasting between meals is not to have anything that will trigger a response - even one cup of tea with milk will break a fast. I tend to have green tea in the morning and black koffy up to around noon - then breakfast at that time. A big tablespoon of Inulin a couple of hours before I go to bed seems to keep things running flat during the night. Note - only been eating protein (ish) this month.Yes I did cut back on the cream in coffee and usually take it black now. I found I was just using too much cream so my between meal fasts, weren’t really fasts at all.
I’ve surprised myself by quite enjoying black coffee now - never thought I’d get used to it. It also makes things much easier when having a coffee out.
It's OK for you guys hiding behind the new Blue Wall with your exotic European Koffy ways and fancy Liberaces . What about us JAMS soon having to live in the kingdom of (Matt) Hancock's half hour?. West Suffolk Hospital apparently has Sid James as Chief Executive and Hattie Jacques as Matron.Have a wonderful day if you can, must go, my Koffy is pleading to be brewed.
Unknow to some, that there blue wall was promised to be in a nice Asp of Jerusalem, all nice and yellow until you squeeze it and then it turns blue - should be called the Nick Clegg plant. We like our woad in the north, it reminds why we don’t swim in the sea. Your strange leader of the kingdom of Hancock’s half hour should travel to China where they seem to be able to build new hospitals in just a couple of weeks. It's OK for you guys hiding behind the new Blue Wall with your exotic European Koffy ways and fancy Liberaces . Takes longer to build anything in Suffolk as builders are prone to Suffolk ups. The HR Dept typo in the person specification asking for Proles not helpful either.Unknow to some, that there blue wall was promised to be in a nice Asp of Jerusalem, all nice and yellow until you squeeze it and then it turns blue - should be called the Nick Clegg plant. hugs for the low number alfs xGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who can't solve the simultaneous equation that is diabeties.
A very worrying 4.5 for me and me's this morning, so for breakfast I had porridge made with water and didn't take any insulin, I shall be testing 2 hours after, but I have taken a host of other medication which will have an effect.
I was expecting a reading of approximately 7.0 .
If you wondering why things are complicated read my profile.
Sometimes life is fun, I enjoyed the mathematical posts this morning, it's a good job I'm sane....well nearly. Have a great day folks and being left unsupervised by Mrs J today I can bark at the postman ( other genders available ) as much as I like.
